You are right veer ji there is a lot still to be learned from the legend. He lived a life of quality than quantiy our hero Bruce Lee did. His dialouges as "be like water don't think feel" has soo much meaning now compared to when i heard it as a kid especially when reading about the mind for doing bhagati simran etc.

What is the oldest recorded katha or keertan we have?
Soulfinder replied to Sajjan_Thug's topic in General Discussion
Waheguru thanks for posting this information veer ji as i didn't know this. Plus i do remember Bhagat Jaswant Singh Ji did make all the recording which are online using the avilable resources at the time in the 1960s as they did seva of setting up the mic stand etc. These recordings were later converted into mp3s i think under Baba Thakur Singh Ji and posted online. -
Veer Ji i live in uk london so i haven't had a chance to meet Baba Ji but without good kismat its hard to meet and have bachan with a gurmukh like Baba Ji. I haven't been to Toronto so i am sure if any members from here that are local to Baba Ji than they can have bachan with them. But its a really good idea you have which i like a lot.

@paapiman Veer Ji excellent thread i will add things when i find time to time on here. I do remember that Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji was edited under the british rule as banis like Brahm Kavach,Ugardanti, Sri Bhagauti Astotar and many more were removed from the spgc version of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji. The parkash of Dasam Granth used to be done alongside Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as well. Only these maraydas survived in Sri Hazur Sahib, Sri Patna Sahib and Nihang Dals as they kept the banis preserved in their gutkas pothis etc. Sri Rehras Sahib was changed at Sri Harmander Sahib Amritsar as well along with Chupai Sahib was shortned. Here is a katha link by Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhindrawale on Rehras Sahib

With paath shabad sidhi jaaps a lot of sucham like keshi ishan, fixed timed like same time everyday is involved which is really dangerous as if a bigan day miss of the jaap it can backfire. Also it is best to do these jaap sidhi under a mahapursh or someone who done this jaap before as it is like learning how to drive without a intructor or trainer etc as it can create consequences. I remember a gursikh friend told me how he has seen people trying to do sidhi of Chandi Di Vaar at night time doing parkama around a nishan sahib and smashing a naariyal onto the nishan sahib i think after reading it. So after 40 nights not many could handle it the sidhi and he told me about he saw people whom had electric shock therpy and they still weren't normal.
