No but you can eat plenty of things that will keep you healthy without having them taste good. Eating for pleasure is also discouraged... but we all do it. We all add masala to our curries, we all add sugar to our kheer. Pleasure is not bad. It's addiction to pleasure that is bad. I don't know why you think pleasure itself is a sin. God created pleasure as a gift... one that should be appreciated. But not taken for granted and abused.

Like our drug analogy. Sex between spouse if there was no pleasure at all, you'd be hard pressed to have any children. And the spouses would not be close as a family. The medicine, is that sex brings husband and wife together as one... and strengthens their bond. Abuse of sex however creates addiction to the mere physical pleasure of it, instead of the closeness and bonding between spouses. There is a huge difference.

The Sachi-Suchi Practical, Heuristic, Realistic and Simplistic philosophy of Guru Nanak Ji is nowhere seen here. All Guru ji lived a normal human life doing all functions which a normal human do, but the only thing that differentiates them was their VIRTUES. They had the Gyaan. They had all the VIRTUES such as Charity,compassion, courage, courteousness, diligence, discipline, empathy, endurance, fairness, faith, fidelity, forgiveness, fortitude, generosity, honesty, honor, hopefulness, hospitality, humility, impartiality, innocence, integrity, joy, kindness, mercy, modesty, morality, patience, peacefulness, perseverance, prudence, purity, purposefulness, respectfulness, self-discipline, sincerity, sympathy, temperance, thankfulness, trustworthiness, truth, wisdom etc. which a human of high moral standard should possess.

They lead a normal life but it was a life of SIGNIFICANCE, and they lived a practical life to teach and make us understand. They showed us ways by setting example for us in every aspects of life.

Guru Nanak Ji didn't perform any magic shows to attract people during their udasis (trips). It was the GYAAN, the Reformed and Revolutionized KNOWLEDGE, which people got attracted to. What I see in this forum is only the  ALIF-LAILA version of Sikhi. Behind every action there is some supernatural and mystical things associated to it.

As long as sex is concerned, what Guru ji taught was simple.
Having sex with neighbor's wife makes us a bad Human (or for that matter not even a Human), and on the other side having sex with our own wife and being loyal and faithful makes us a good Human. Simple as that, period.
What I see in this forum is whole mystical thing revolving around whether Guru Ji had sexual intercourse or not. Was our Guru ji aliens? Why would they not have sex with their wives? What's wrong in that? This is how all humans are born. Nobody is ever born in this world without it.

Having children without sex doesn't makes our Guruji great, it's the Loyalty, Trust and Faithfulness that makes them Great.

I was happy initially when I joined this forum but now I would never want anyone to see what's going inside this.

I know, now people will start bashing me.

The damdami  taksali head bhai dhumma ,you will never see him preaching gurmat,neither he talks abt drugs,alcohol problems or any issue facing  the Kaum. He is a Sarakari baba.
All they can do is killing,fighting ,removing turbans.
Leave aside  what they say abt Dhandriwala.they cannot even defend their aukhati mariyada.
 

Let anyone figure out what is anti gurmat in this video?
I don't understand how is his preaching are anti gurmat after watching this video.He is a true pracharak of sikhi.
Has any present day taksali Kathavachak openly opposed the karamkands which bhai Sahib is mentioning ?

We can’t even convert those born in sikh families to follow proper sikhi, how are we going to convert non-Sikhs to sikhi?  We have far too many parchaaraks doing 3rd class parchaar, let there be no question about this!  It is not the quality of the parchaar that counts, it is the quality of the parchaaraks that counts! I don’t listen to any of them because they don’t appeal to me one little bit! They just have to open their mouths and I am off! None of them come across as if they are genuine followers of sikhi! Having said this, I do believe very firmly that only sants should do the parchaar because they have first hand experience of the Gurbani, and they are or have walked the path themselves! Only the sants are entitled to do the parchaar, but where are they? Where can you find them in this day and age? 
I have no time for money hungary kirtanees, kathavachaks, lookalike Nihang singhs, jathebandi characters/groups or anyone who look like a Sikh but are not a Sikh!
We definitely don’t want empty vessels making useless noises in the name of parchaar when they have not themselves embraced the messesge contained in the parchaar they are doing! The are all empty vessels without Amal.

Further that shabad you posted, is Simply a plea for wordly things... it's not saying these things are acceptable. For exmaple, he begs also for 'fine clothes' - yet we are supposed to dress simply are we not?? A 'fine' horse... he even begs for a 'wife' to clean his house, speaking of that wife as a simple servant or comodity, no different than the other things he begs for in the same shabad... It's hardly a free license to consume ghee!! Learn to read entire shabads instead of one liners Paapiman! It will do you some good! This shabad is simply him begging God for pleasures in life who he refers to as the 'arranger of the affairs'

It will be best if Dhandriwala answers rather than we discussing and fighting over it.
And this forum  being taksali influenced their  would be hardly any appreciation for his gurmat viewpoints.

I will try my best to educate them about this. In fact, since I came into sikhi, I have tried to answer as many questions as possible these ignorant Yankees throw at me at school. The first question is always in connection with my appearance and my dastar! The ignorants have no clue as to who sikhs are and why they wear the panj kakkars and so on! 
Sikhs hating other sikhs doesn’t help at all!
