One has to do 21,000 Jaaps of that Pauri (which is part of Sri Japjee Saab), on Friday. If that is done, your enemy will catch a disease/illness.

Amazing. Not a single one of these stories can be found anywhere in Canonical, or even extra canonical texts. Seems 'ol Sant Ji shoulda been a fantasy novelist instead of a failed revolutionary.
Cute bro.
Shaking corrupt powers all over the world to their core with mainly the power of his Truth alone and giving Shaheed is not failed. It's the epitome of success.
That's the shortest, nicest way to put it.

Thanks a lot
Bhul chuk maaf
Many cultures leave alcohol for spirits and ancestors. You will usually find a ceremonial small barrel of rice wine on the Tokonoma or Shomen of Aikido Dojos, any Kobudo Dojo and modern Dojos. As well as cemetary...altars..where ashes are interred or the person is comemorated having their ashes dispersed elsewhere. The Japanese avoid dividing ashes.
Offerings of many kinds are common in Japan.
Burnt offerings and offerings of many kinds are very common in Paleo Hebrew Jacobite practices, the practices of Indigenous people all over the planet.
Sacrafices of animals before war are very common in many traditions to refamaliarize the warriors with bloodshed, and death, and to give their body a massive intake of protein and other nutrients to prepare them for battle. Where they would see far more carnage and most likely have to rely on meat as a food source.
In my opinion this is part of why Nihang Singhs are given the dispensation to perform Jhatka. Also their Chakarvarti lifestyle meant they would have to herd not farm.
To say anyone truly understand the Gurmat that informs certain Gurmat practices is a reach, especially myself, but the Guru's gifts are always multifaceted, and those are at least two facets I can recognize.
You would find this kind of practice all over asia, africa, australia, the islands and the americas.

One Caesar was actually popular mainly because he did reforms to help the poor which the senate didn't do. Two the Senate made him a tyrant they voted to make him dictator for more time and gave him all the powers.
Was he a horrible person yes I suppose through the eyes of modern morales but the past was a different world. He was bad but not nearly as bad as other leaders.

Let's say you are a Roman senator during Caesar's reign as dictator and you were offered to join the conspiracy to kill him. Would you? Why would you?
One Rome was never supposed to have a caeser. Death to tyrants.
Two, he was a horrible person.
Three, nobody liked him.
There are dudes in prison more sophisticated than these leaders of "western culture ".

Sorry to rush the response, but I'd say 100 percent real, but we are concerned with Ik Onkar. Nehkahlank. Puran. Akal Purakh. Vaheguru.
The history of the Vedas, especially as told by Guru Gobind Singh Maharajah in Dasam Granth, is more real than the history they teach us in school. The Torah is more accurate history. This is the reason we are encouraged to know about these texts but do not revere them "religously". They are however not false, they are true. True history. Just not Sat Dharam.
Gurbani is very literal even if poetic beyond measure.

182 children at four children each over two generations is 2912 children that could be alive today plus the initial children for 3094 people that should be alive today, just from this one school.
Glad catholics and the canadian government are acting ashamed. Now do something about it, or commit sepuku.

WINNIPEG, Canada, July 2 (Reuters) - Protesters have toppled statues of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II in the Canadian city of Winnipeg as anger grows over the discovery of the remains of hundreds of children in unmarked graves at former indigenous schools.
A crowd chanted "no pride in genocide" before pulling down the statues of the monarchs.
The action took place on Canada Day on Thursday, when traditionally celebrations take place across the country.
However, many cities scrapped events this year as the scandal over the indigenous children made Canadians confront their colonial history. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the day would be "a time for reflection".
Almost 1,000 unmarked graves have been found at former residential schools in British Columbia and Saskatchewan that were mainly run by the Catholic Church and funded by the government.
For 165 years and as recently as 1996, the schools forcibly separated indigenous children from their families, subjecting them to malnourishment and physical and sexual abuse in what the Truth and Reconciliation Commission called "cultural genocide" in 2015.
In Winnipeg, a crowd cheered as Queen Victoria's statue fell outside the Manitoba provincial legislature. Protesters, many of whom wore orange clothing, also kicked the toppled statue and danced around it. The pedestal and statue were daubed in red paint hand marks.
A nearby statue of Queen Elizabeth was also pulled down. She is Canada's current head of state, while Victoria reigned from 1837 to 1901 when Canada was part of the British Empire.
Protests in support of the indigenous children also took place on Thursday in Toronto, Canada's financial hub, while a #CancelCanadaDay march in the capital Ottawa drew thousands in support of victims and survivors of the residential school system.
Vigils and rallies were held across other parts of the country. Many participants wore orange clothing, which has become the symbol of the movement.
In his Canada Day message, Trudeau said the discoveries of the remains of the children at the former schools "have rightfully pressed us to reflect on our country's historical failures". Injustices still exist for indigenous peoples and many others in Canada, he said.
A spokesman for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the government condemned any defacing of statues of the queen.
"Our thoughts are with Canada's indigenous community following these tragic discoveries, and we follow these issues closely and continue to engage with the Government of Canada on indigenous matters," he said.
Reporting by Kanishka Singh in Bengaluru; Editing by Angus MacSwanStatue looks better already.
Just noticed. This school opened in 1912. It isn't even a school from the 1800s.
That's how current the genocide is. At this school ending only 50 years ago. So adults as young as say 55 could have survived, leaving friends in those graves. In fact most survivors could still be alive.
Not to mention each child is a family tree, not just an individual chopped down.
Natives are now .06 percent... . 0 6 percent of their original numbers.
That's compared to the 1400s. Can we imagine how many american indians there would be if they weren't being genocided still?
It's an entire continent worth of people.

ANOTHER mass grave of 182 children discovered at Catholic-run 'Indian' residential school in Canada as Pope Francis agrees to meet with survivors
- Latest discovery on Wednesday was made by an indigenous group using ground-penetrating radar at the former St. Eugene's Mission School in Cranbrook, B.C.
- School was run by the Catholic Church from 1912 until the early 1970s
- It follows two similar findings at other church-run schools, one of more than 600 unmarked graves in Saskatchewan and another of 215 bodies in BC
- Pope Francis invited native groups to meet him at Vatican, it emerged Tuesday
- Chiefs and Canadian government want a papal apology which has not yet come
- The native group which made the latest grim discovery, Lower Kootenay Band, said Wednesday that the atrocity was akin to the Nazis systematic killing of Jews
Another 182 indigenous children's bodies have been discovered in a mass grave at a Catholic-run school in Canada amid calls for the Church to apologise for its role.
The latest discovery on Wednesday was made by an indigenous group using ground-penetrating radar at the former St. Eugene's Mission School in Cranbrook, British Columbia, which was operated by the Church from 1912 until the early 1970s.
It follows two similar findings at other church-run schools, one of more than 600 unmarked graves in Saskatchewan and another of 215 bodies in BC.
Pope Francis has invited survivors of the residential schools to meet with him at the Vatican in December, it was announced on Tuesday.
After graves were found last month, Francis expressed his pain and pressed religious and political authorities to shed light on 'this sad affair.' But he didn't offer the apology sought by First Nations and the Canadian government.
The native group which made the latest grim discovery, Lower Kootenay Band, said Wednesday that the atrocity was akin to the Nazis systematic killing of Jews.

I don't know if this is related. I love gardening, so you notice the weather a bit more. The weather here seems very unstable compared to previous years?? Is it climate change kicking in?
Weather where I am does seem odd. Our winters and summers just seem off to me and I was born not far from here. And I think the humidity has risen, which makes me think glaciers in the air.

I was just looking for Gurbani on children lol. You can't dig for it without sifting through all the attacks on Sikhs for being Dharmi.

People criticize Saint Jarnail Singh Bhinderwale...
That's real feminism.
And the opposite of terror. That's Dharam.
Speaking the truth, and keeping true hisotry, and lists of human rights violators, freedom of speech is Dharam not terrorism.
Brother Jaggi.
Truthfully confronting grooming and abuses of innocents and making known their vcitimizers is Dharam not terrorism.
SYUK
In the United States of America, terrorism is defined in Title 22 Chapter 38, of the U.S. Code as "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents".[
The indian government is a terrorist organization. Many groups in india are terrorist organizations. The brittish are terrorist too for that matter.
There is no such thing as a Sikh Terrorist. Sikhi just scares terrorists so they label us that.
We allow people within and outside the Paanth to disrespect Gursikhi and Gursikhs.
You can't modernize Sikhi. It's the past, present and future.

A reminder to those outside and inside the Paanth both
In 1975, a Hindu man came to Bhai Fauja Singh desperately begging for help. His wife had been picked up by the police and they were gang raping her. Bhai Fauja Singh went to the police station, freed the woman and punished the police officers. He was sent to jail for his actions.
Throughout his time as a leader in the Dharm Yudh Morcha, Baba Jarnail Singh ensured that those who attacked and assaulted women were dealt with severely, and that any woman who was being assaulted were freed.
