I wouldn’t get too optimistic about the Ukrainians if I were you lot, the country is effectively an anarcho-fascist state. This is their idea of culture: The reason we keep hearing about how tough and resilient they are is for two reasons. The brits have to justify why they have spent so much military aid on them and to play down fears of a refugee crisis coming to Britain. Once those Russian tanks enter the Ukraine, large sections of their population will be racing to the Polish border and will later try to claim asylum further west.
