  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Thanks for the explanation. It makes perfect sense. We should always be thankful to Waheguru, Whether it is good or bad
  2. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Nabhi chakra is at navel in your body. Trikuti, thirdeye is in between your eyebrows.. there are other chakras also. Check here http://www.alchemilla.com/astrology/chakras1.html... Sant Isher Singh Ji Says First there is recitation of waheguru by the tongue Next comes the recitation by thinking by it. and then it takes place at the heart chakra. After that Comes the Navel Chakra or nabhi, which Maharaj Ji says If you recite(not by tongue, but by thinking) it there the effect will be 1000 times more. If you say 1 time, then it will be like saying 1000 times with tongue. He also says the nabhi is like the plexus of all the nerves in the body, that is all the 3 crore nerves meet there. When you do naam simran there... then every pore of your body will be awakened and do simran... [glow=blue:544ada7898]rom rom har tayai , gurmukh pyara da[/glow:544ada7898] you can get the tape from the dc kirtan hub http://www.sikhawareness.com/sikhawareness...opic.php?t=2789 when you reach there search for Sant Baba Isher Singh - Shri Guru Tegh Bahadar Ji Di Sakhi.mp3 Sant ji also talks about the Daswan Dwaar, it is hidden, you have to find it [Although Im not into chakras anymore.. as they messed me up two times 3 yrs ago. Once I was concentratin on the base chakra, which is supposed to contain all your past life info, repressions and stuff .. after a week the sensations at the base chakra was very strong.. and i could always feel "ghost like presence" around me... I couldnt sleep at nite.. it was pretty scary.. Second time was at the trikuti.. which i dont want to mention.. not very interestin. But now everythin is good!...] maybe post more later... since i got an exam in less then 8 hours Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  3. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh I came across this line ... cant understand its meaning... can someone explain it please http://allaboutsikhs.com/gurbani/adv/adv-20.htm "One who offers both respectful greetings and rude refusal to his master, has gone wrong from the very beginning."
  4. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Great story... when did this happen...? thanks for sharing... pls post more events
  5. Waheguru Ji Ki Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh I read that they are two coiled up snales present in our bodies... their tails being towards the base chakra; and their heads are somewhere near the trikuti..... Its makin me wonder whether their two heads corresponds somehow to the lorentz attractors.. with one spiral/snakes head corresponding to each half of the brain. :-) If they do correspond to the lorentz attractors... then it may also help in proving that the infinitely deep mandelbrot set which is a pattern/fractal that is present everywhere in nature, is also present within our bodies... much like the number pi
  6. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Shasterkovich : It was good reading about your history. Altho i m not sure of what type of kaalay you have there... most of the kaalay here are saintly Nihal Penji, Its good for you too learn some shaster vidya or some other martial art... altho i wouldnt advise you to use ur kirpan.. u harldy will ever need it I havent come across any such situations where sikh women are treated like that. All this posts come from the UK... Is it just UK or anywhere else too?
  7. Waheguru Ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh that reminds me I got an exam in 8 hours pray .... now i have really fallen in the site..
  8. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh If Akaali was the title awarded to Nihang Singh's for their achievements and a nihang singh can be called Akali Nihang, and you are also calling the Guru, Akali Nihang. Then there wouldnt be any difference between the Guru and the Nihang. Also, why would the Guru prefer himself to be called Akali when he himself gave those titles out to Nihangs? For those of you dont know, Gurbilas Dasm is a historical text, and isnt included in the Dasam Granth or SGGS. PS : please dont diss back on me, just tryin to clear my doubts here
  9. Waheguru Ji ka khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Im not familiar with Gurblias Dasmi. Does it come in the SGGS or the Dasam Granth? Thanks, I will try to lookup that. Here it doesnt make sense. You cannot start worshipping guns, pistols or canons
  10. you can also download a lot of pictures in the dc hub, about 5000+ sikhi pics, check the filelist of gur-server
  11. usually play squash lol @ imagine a chunni on da similie
  12. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh This is not really related to any naam simran. I read the following at the site narsingha mentioned. http://www.sarbloh.info/htmls/sikh_akali8.html Why have they written that "[Guru Gobind Singh] worships this cannon" ?! or have I misunderstood something here?
  13. Waheguru Ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh I was listening to Sant Isher Singh Ji's tape and they were saying that if you recite waheguru at certain places then the benefit is more. If you to do it at nabhi then the effect is 1000 times more then just reciting. Also, at this stage the whole body is absorbed in Naam Simran, You are not reciting the naam but you are constantly thinking in your mind. You also hear the anahat shabad here. After this stage they say that you will come to recite it at the trikuti, and various things happen here as well. After this is over, you will enter the daswan dwaar or the tenth door, which is hidden. My question was that should we recite waheguru at these special places like the nabhi or trikuti? or just normal recitation I think there are certain stages that a abhyasi goes through.. But im not sure. It would be nice if someone can post all that in detail
  14. I found this in another post on the forum http://www.sikhawareness.com/sikhawareness...p?p=23008#23008
  15. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Thanks for all the info. If you have any more info then pls share.... I havent been to India in a long time.. so i dont know much. Also, Thanks for clearing up the confusion about Sevadar Sulakhan Singh Ji.. I listened to kirtan by Sevadar ji , and it was very good... Everyone should listen atleast once Maybe the Topic of this thread should be changed by the moderators to something broad.
  16. Sat Sri Akal Hari Ji, Waheguru will bless you with your desire Altho I wouldnt give a scientific explanation for the Pitcher, Im pretty sure there are hundreds of such miracles for which there wouldnt be any such explanation.
  17. Sat Sri Akal, I had some scary expeirences but i dont recall most of them as it was 2-3 yrs back.. but most were blissfull.. hardest part was getting up at 4:00 am and takin a cold shower... trust me, you dont want to have the scary ones... some are 100*times scarier then the suleman tapes // your first oob3 is usually scary.. well depends again Most of the ones i had were good... one time i had to go to school and get my report card.. i was pretty nervous and stuff... so i planned that i would have an OOBE that nite. And it worked out I had a blissful one which lasted thro the whole day... Yeh but for the experiences, you can do whatever you can think of.. usually you will be in the area around you.. rarely will you be in some unknown lands.. those are lucid dreams(dreams in which you know that you are dreaming).. theres a subtle difference in both. People have Lucid dreams a lot, but few people get OOBEs. In both of these , You can do anythin you can think of.. best ones being flying around heh
  18. Sat Sri Akal Ji, I heard thats a good book, but never read it.. or didnt have the time to.. do they describe the technique or something? But if you are interested in such OOBE, the most easy and guaranteed way to have such an experience is to get up early in the mornin, like at 4:00 am, take a cold shower do naam jap for about 15 mins, and then sleep again... but dont sleep sideways, sleep in a straight position.. after some time you will be havin a oobe.. Sometimes they can be really scary too    I used to do this like 2-3 yrs back dont do it anymore, they are blissful, but just make sure u dont get too attached... Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

  22. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki fateh Im posting this as I couldnt find any information on the net... Can some plz provide me more information on Sant Sulakhan Singh Rara Sahib. Also I want to know who is the Sant Ji, who is given Gudhi after Sant Isher Singh Ji... I heard that Sant Ji meditates all day, and comes once a day to give ppl darshan... Can someone pls post more info... the name of Sant Ji, and where they are...
  23. nice explanation, I did that and got a lot of sensations occuring at the trikuti, what does it mean? .. Also another thing I want to know is that should we recite the mool mantra first or the Gurmantra? I heard that our minds are impure and we should first make the field for the Guru / or clean our minds of all negative thoughts and once that done we should recite the Gurmantra, Is this right?
