Excellent. Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale also did this katha and said the same thing.

Dari is short for Darbari farsi, ie the court language standard of Persian. It is the language spoken more in northern Afghanistan, very similiar to Iranian farsi but some words are a little different. People from both countries can converse with each other easily though.

Bro, it's very clear. Listen to the things he has began to say over the last year or two.

Is telling people to sleep and recharge their batteries, when Guru Sahib says observe amrit vela, telling human kind the right thing?

Come on, give us an answer to this. You seem very intent on defending him.

And he has said that he doesn't beleive in Sikh history. He only beleives in Guru Granth Sahib only. Which has like not even 1% of Sikh history in it.

put people on the right track by telling them things which is opposite to Guru Granth Sahib. Dhadrianwala says there is no such thing as a spirit world. Guru Granth Sahib says there is.

How dare he put people on the right track ? You choose, who is your Guru?

People like him dont meet face to face. Amrik Singh Ajnala tried for some days before this got big to meet him but dhadrianwala refused to meet him.

We have been giving you facts and you still call us liars. How damaging is that?

In the end yes...but in the meantime he will take thousands of people down with him. Are you happy with that?

Parmeshardwar had a big folowing for years but all the recent additions to his following are missionaries. The same missionaries who used to call him "boobna."

If anything people who are well-versed in Gurmat and not his cult followers have left him. Go on facebook and look at the quality of his followers. they are all missionaries.

Even the heretics (Anti-Dasam Brigade) say that.
Dhadrianwala is creating unnecessary doubts within the Panth (obviously not on a very big scale at the moment). Casting a doubt in the minds of Sangat on Bhora sahib, Amritvela, Sri Satguru jee (Second Master)'s sakhi, Mai Bhago jee' s sakhi, etc. What is the need to do that? There are so many other Sakhis/ideas he can talk about. Why cause controversies?
It is not a very responsible behavior from such a personality, at a time when our Panth is already facing huge problems such as Anti-Dasam Brigade, poverty, corruption, alcoholism and drugs, female infanticide, caste issues, Nigurapan (huge numbers of non-Amritdharis), etc.

    Who doesn't say that?

Why has Dhadrianwala been so silent on darshan rogi and his rogi panth? Not one word from him. Tells me a lot. It fits in with dhadrianwala anouncing that he will only do parchar from Guru Granth Sahib. Why? Doesn't he realise the consequences on the Panth of such a move?

But Guru Granth Sahib doesn't say take khande ki pahul anywhere, so already Dhadrianwala has gone back on his word.

He's still trying to claim that he hasn't said anything out of Gurmat for a start. Then talks about how HE is responsible for cancelling the program and says that if he wanted to, no force could stop him from carrying out the program.
His dera is taking on the impression of a cult day-by-day, which is ironic as he claims to be against "babbe" and "deras" and such.
None of his followers are even questioning some of the things he is coming out with. They seem to just beleive everything he is telling them, even when it goes against Gurbani.

Not sure why. It might be because of 2 things:

Surya Dev is the father of Ashwin which is also the sanskrit name for horse
Also the chariot of Surya Dev is said to be pulled by a horse.

Gyani jee could have used a better example in the video below, instead of using "Pagal". Anyways, we have to be careful that we do not engage in any sort of ninda, but also create awareness of Manmat at the same time.

ਅਸਪਤਿ can also mean the Lord of the Horses ie Surya Dev.
What context did you hear/read this word in?

God knows. But it's way off. You know we have been analyzing the Charitars on the basis of our understanding of the english translation of them far too much. It was my suspicion about line 3 not making sense that sparked my wanting to have a look at translating it myself. Maybe we could start doing this as a group in future Charitars ?

Good thinking bro. The more I look at it, I can't really find fault with the woman. She needed the dynasty to continue and went to lengths where everybody was happy and the dynasty continued. I can't help but think she isn't a villian in this story.

OK, a few thoughts on this.
First the area where the confluence of Ganga and Jamuna is a holy place for Hindus. So the story starts by talking of an exalted place but says that within this place people have the status of animals. So this could be a reference to the Royal Palace of the King, but also telling that some of the dwellers of this palace have a animalistic standing.

Seeing as this is a short story Im going to translate it myself. In line 3 it says she contemplated destroying the monarchy but then wants her son to be King? Something seems wrong there, so Im going to have a look at translations.

Bro,  there is no merit in both govts call back their citizens to their respective countries. There has been a 70 year gap in between, which will span around 3 generations. It's been too long for successive generations to go back to what thier grandparents or great-grandparents left behind. They would be taking a backwards step as they would be starting all over again.

Add to that , I don't think many Sikhs/Hindus would really want to go and live in Pakistan/Bangladesh at the moment. Both countries have taken on a strong Islamic character and identity and wouldnt attract non-Muslims. Whether Muslims in Pakistan would want to come to India I dont know.

What would really help me, as a Sikh is for both govts to allow easy visitation to our sacred Gurdwaras in Pakistan. I would like it to be as easy as crossing the US-Canadian border, or even better the England-Scotland border. The only Sikh connection with Pakistan is our vast heritage there which is crumbling away every year. This way we would have a chance to revive it.

Throwing of the nuts into the sack could also indicate humiliation of the King. Usually, food is thrown towards animals, birds, etc, and given/handed over to humans. King has been reduced to a position (because of his own deeds) of an animal.
Maybe Maharaaj is trying to tell his Sikhs, if you commit a shameful act like this King, you will be humiliated in this world and the next.
