    i have heard it is at a gurdwara in sangrur, at the shaheeda the gurdwara in commemoration of the vadda ghalughara. during the ghallughara the dusht on the outside were unable to brake the singhs' formation. this is attributed to the fact that Guru Granth Sahib ji, specifically the birh that was given gurgaddi, was in the center of the formation

    lalle pair bindee, or any akhar de pair'ch lalla calls for a srot of rolling of the lalla. as in chola, mohali, naali, kala, etc. but then again some ppl pronounce these words with standard lallas too (sounds kinda funny that way though)

    i just watched the punjabi version with mom and gramps, they loved it haha. a bit of crude language in there which was awkward with my mom around, but baaki was pretty sick

    singhs were from California Gatka Dal, Los Angeles division. i agree though, the show did not do shastar vidiya much justice at all. even in terms of gatka, the whole emphasis on circular motion and whatnot was waay over done

    yeahh, my gatka ustaads always say the same thing. lefties always end up having to train right handedly, but can fight equally as well with the left side i'll definitely check these guys out though

    Right Handed - Culturally and because this is a weapon’s based art, I teach “right handed” students. Unfortunately, left-hand dominant people may struggle significantly with this art. i'm left handed. i think rabb just wants me to be a saadh
