Having a Patent on who compiles Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is a great way to do it. On problem that arises is, who will do it. And as a member has mentioned someone has violated this patent and sanctity of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji by putting in adverts. What was done about that, if any measures were taken. If the people who put the patent, which is SGPC, and they have not perserved the sanctity of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji then they should be punished. In the patent it should have that aswell. No institution is above Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. The same should be done for Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Granth. A patent to perserve the sanctity of Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Granth. Who holds the patent is the most important part of the patent. SGPC is a corrupt institution on it's own. Can it be trusted, not just now, but 50 or 100 or 1000 years from now. Also does anyone have the patent, so the sangat can read it. What was written in the patent is also important here. For how long is the patent valid. For Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji the patent should not be renewable or have in it nothing in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji can be added or taken out or changed in any form. There should be no time restaint on when this patent expires(be valid for eternity), unless the patent(refering to the one SGPC made) itself is wrong and does not hold the sanctity of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. You are still not wanting to define Muslim and Sikh. Why is that. First you said Bhai Mardana is a Muslim, but now your not willing to define Muslim, which you call Bhai Mardana. Singh you define Bhai Mardana as a Muslim and I asked define Muslim. You say we are lacking the knowledge, so tell us the true definition of Muslim, so we can learn. Are you sure these are the definition you want to go with. Because the definition of Sikh and Muslim are completely against each other already. So there goes the theory Bhai Mardana is a Muslim-Sikh. And if Bhai Mardana was a Muslim then, when Guru Nanak Dev ji slepted with his feet toward the Kabba he would have been the one kicking Guru Sahib. bhai Mardana would be the first to walk off on Guru Nanak Dev ji when he said I am not a Muslim or Hindu. Based on these definitions then you Mystical are a Muslim. These definitions are so broad that everyone in this world is a Sikh and Muslim all at once. So if you want this dicussion to anywhere then define Sikh and Muslim as they are defined by the teachers of the Dharma.

This discussion is going no where. First you must define Muslim and Sikh and Singh. Then on those defintions, we can see where those who call Bhai Mardana are coming from. We have Guru Nanak Dev ji telling Muslims to become trueMuslims. That's another term they have to define. So Mystical and/or sheediyan have to give the definintion of Muslim and Sikh first. Then this discussion can move forward.
