I think you all missed the point here!!! People take n break amrit because they cant keep up to the expectations of wen u take amrit!! Thats a fair enuf point.... But what exaclty r the consequences of takin then breaking amrit??? That is wat I would like 2 knw...and i bet those ppl tho have taken and broken will want 2 knw..n those who r lookin to to take amrit would want 2 knw!! If people knew of wat the consequences were, then they wud think twice abt wat they do...because some ppl TAKE amrit because people around them r tellin them 2..n they feel they have 2 play the part 2....U missed out this area of this particular subject!!

Hey A Kaur, firstly..ignore that sukhsingh..he aint got a good word 2 say 2 any1 or about any1. I knw wat u mean about ur sis, i get tht frm my family. They knw im doin something, then they ask u like 5/6 times to do something else....knwing that i cant do miracles n do everything at once. i get angry 2...n the comments tht fly my way..r not even worth repeating...most of the time i try ignoring them..but things tht are sed r hurtful. But the best way is to ignore it.. let it all in thru 1 ear n out the otha....my little theory for my family is...they are fully qualifed with Degrees,Masters, PHD's in Doin My Head In!! :wink:

Trust me, ive tried ..but jehovas r very persistant. The lady tht spoke 2 me wen on about how the son of god gave up his life. I jus replied bk saying...yeh..so did my guru's, they gave thir lives for sikhi. I also asked her...have u seen god, has any1 seen god, all we knw is tht people persue god in diffrent ways...i also asked her if she knew whether or not ..the almighty god is 1...for every relgion..but is taught n percieived diffrently!! She shat ap!! I knw i dont knw much abt sikhi...but..im gettin there slowly but surely...made the lady think tho!!! :wink:

I dont knw wat it is with tht religion, but they say that all the bodies that have been buried afta death..will all 1 day walk he earth n run things!! I was out 2day with my bro..n he's a DJ, this muslim girl has booked him for a supposed 'charity' event. This even is on Sept 11, my bro questioned her on this, n he asked why do some muslims celebrate sept 11th. She has done a politics degree and her answer was that ppl die everyday, so wat if it happened 2 the americans. She sed her religion comes 1st no matta wat. .....is there any SIKH girl who can say this?? i knw her ansa wasnt a very good 1....but she stuck by her religion n pointed out how many people were n still are gettin killed bk in the muslims countries. The girl knew wat she was talkin abt.....cant say much about our Sikh girls, myself included!!! Honestly..the girl made a valid point, but my bro gave as good as he got back, he got the girl thinkin abt wat her views were. It was a heated debate. Our apniya sikh kurriah r so un-educated about their own relgion that they thinkin a guy with a turban is a guy who wears a turban as a trend...n those girls find these guys unattractive!! i knw this is tru, 2 girls i knw are like this!! My mum married a singh (sardar), she's really happy..n my dad is soooo cute!!! hehe!!! Back in their day.....women/girls neva thought the way these slappers do these days!!
