Amrit Kaur Ubhi a Wolverhampton University student was found dead in her family home in Telford. The well loved young girl was understood to have had a long term relationship with a young man form the Armed Forces. It is not clear what the motives for the murder were. Friends describe Amrit as an “absolutely lovely” person. She worked at Monsoon, the shop had to have relief workers when her colleges were told of her death. 53-year-old a Gurmeet Singh Ubhi, of Berberis Road, Leegomery, spoke only to confirm his name when he appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court.ppeared this month charged with the murder of Amrit Kaur Ubhi. Mrs Joanne Barker, prosecuting, said: “This case involves one allegation in due course of murder, sent by the lower court on September 10.” The case was adjourned until November 16 for a plea and case management hearing at a court to be fixed and Ubhi was remanded in custody. I'm sick and tired of the cowardliness and lack of integrity on part of the younger generation in being open about who they are and what they do and I'm equally sick of the way much of the older generation frequently refuse to budge with excessive stubbornness in a new environment that helps create such scenarios. I think our lot need to be beaten with sticks to read, analyse and understand Charitrio Pakyaan and its content's implications on the lives of their jawaan children, both male and female. This whole bullshit 'uber-conservatism' about all matters pertaining to sex and attraction by some prudes in our quom plays a big part in such messes.
