Some of our scholars were really talented but wasted time on the wrong topics. There are authors who quoted from Binod Singh Granth during the Katak-Vaisakh birth of Guru Nanak controversy to prove their point but didn't care about getting the Granth printed or preserve it properly.

I have "Amarnamah" by Dhadi Nathmal(haven't read it completely)  and also there is a book called "Sri Gur Katha" written by Shaheed Bhai Jiwan Singh Ranghreta. I beleive that some people do not beleive it to be his work, but I haven't read or seen it myself.

A long-time poster Bijla Singh referred to it on this forum.
