Strength food

We often hear how in the old days in India, people would eat badaam, drink hot milk with ghee and other desi foods that were/are food for strength.

So for those of you who know about this sort of stuff, what other foods would you say are good for anyone strength/weight training?

Flour, butter, and sugar all digest at different rates on the glycemic index. It's actually a perfectly balanced carbohydrate. It's affordable, easy to make and provide in great quantity to starving people who need all the calories they can get. It's just not a multivitamin.

Make the Karah in Sarabloh utensil to add Iron content to it.
