To possibly prevent that from happening and to answer the question you asked read Bhai Gurdas - or Guru Gobind Singhs Bachitar Natak (which explains why he had to take birth) and the answer will be clear. Else, you will spend your time in vivaad and reach nowhere. Once you have done that, dive into Gurbani and the number of pearls you will be able to accumulate are only limited by your sincerity of purpose and effort combined with Vahigurus bakshish.
