Sikhs characters have been portrayed in numerous roles in tv shows and in crime fiction ones there has been attempts to highlight how Sikhs suffer disproportionate hate. The winner of Big Brother USA is a Singh. Numerous news outlets have been reporting on Khalistan due to the Nijjar issue. Having spent months in the US, most don't know Sikhs If we can say 60-80% of British people know who Sikhs are, it's more like 6-8% in the US .
