In 1984, no one would listen to us, so having been in the same place, we owe it to the people of Darfur to at least take the 2-3 hours that the event is, and to listen, and learn about what is going on, because "Knowing is half the battle". There are many aid organisations and world news groups that acknowledge this. But there is no oil in Darfur, so no reason for the world police to help.
