Not sure if this is true or not, seeing as how it's coming from a protestant point of view. It's still very interesting. A great way to do prachaar of Sikhi (hopefully without the nindya of course)!

Artwork was good, but message pretty unconvincing.

Was Allah the rebranding of the Moongod by Mohammad? If so, he seems to have radically altered its previous incarnation with Abrahamic concepts.

It's not uncommon for religions to take old symbols (or other things) and use them for new Gods to help popularize the dharm.

Many protestants actually do see the vatican as the beast of prophecy. Others however, see America or Europe as being the beast.

I think Easter is a blatant example.

Christians 'appropriated' the fun festival of Eostre, the pagan deity of fertility. The old symbols of that belief still survive in the form of rabbits, eggs which have nothing to do with Xtianity.

Religions sometimes seem to wean people off old practices by providing alternative celebrations on the same day as popular festivals. Our own Holla Mohalla may be an example of an alternative to Holi in this respect?
