You need at least 5grams of fish oil and 5000 iu vitamin D daily to heal your brain. Your brain is fatty tissue so increase your healthy fat intake. Butter is good for you.

Thanks for your input bro. Daas has never taken Risperidone, but I came across some comments regarding it in the video which you posted.

Eggs are also good for your brain right?

    Read all the above.

My understanding is medicine is just one aspect of treating mental illness.  You would need family support, surrounded by positive people, remove negative people and situations from your life, physical activity to improve physical and mental fitness, counselling and must do your homework with counselling, enhancement of spiritual journey and above all PRAYERS.

It does take years/decades to fight with your thoughts. These meds block the thoughts and do give side-effects.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf!

    Sister, Daas has a question.

Do you know how to get off Risperidone naturally (or with Herbal medications) without any prescription medications?

So as the title states. How do you the sangat deal with Indian food smell?

How do you combat the smell during the cooking process and after?

How do make dishes without the smell being so potent and strong?

Has anyone every called you out because you smell like "curry"?

I just wanna smell good and feel good. I do take good hygiene care. I shower everyday, I use good products, I apply perfume oil very mindfully, I steam iron my clothes (I never wear the same stuff for more than 2 days) I always change my undergarments everyday or 2 days(depends how bad it is)

Are you based in the West? Always turn on the Exhaust fans when you are cooking/warming your food.

Put your work clothes in Garment bags/Closets. That should help a bit.

You can spray your clothes with Odor eliminating sprays before wearing them. That might also help.

An assault on a 21-year-old Sikh student from India in British Columbia, Canada, has been described as a serious hate crime. CTV reports that Gagandeep Singh was attacked on his way home on Friday night. Seeing Gagandeep after the incident, Councilwoman Mohini Singh said the victim was in a "horrific" condition.

Mohini said his eyelids were swollen shut, and he spoke in hushed whispers due to his pain.

She also said that a group of 12–15 teenagers had harassed Gagandeep on the bus, tossing a wig at him at one point.

After getting off the bus, they surrounded him and began punching him in the face, ribs, arms, and legs before dragging him across the sidewalk by his hair and ripping off his turban.

Gagandeep returned to his senses and called a friend, who came over and dialled emergency services.

Mohini Singh said that the fact that Gagandeep is a Sikh and from India undoubtedly played a factor in the attack, which in her view, was racist and should be investigated as a hate crime.

"They got off after him, waited for the bus to leave, and then they swarmed him, they beat him in his face, in his ribs, arms, and legs and then proceeded to grab his turban, pull his hair and drag him," Mohini Singh said, adding that the group took the turban with them when they left Gagandeep in a pile of "dirty snow" on the side of the road.

Friends and other international students of Gagandeep were so upset and terrified by the incident that they gathered at the bus stop to talk about how they no longer felt safe.

After someone was "hit from behind and attacked" by a group at the bus stop on Friday evening, the Kelowna Royal Canadian Mounted Police have stated that they are investigating the incident.

Officers arriving on the scene saw the victim "lying on the ground," and paramedics transported them to the hospital.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Kelowna have expressed grave concern about this crime.

Constable Mike Della-Paolera, the force's spokesman, said the attack was their top investigation priority.

Many groups and individuals have voiced their condemnation of the assault on Gagandeep.

In light of this incident, the International Sikh Organization of Canada has released a statement condemning all acts of hatred.

As everything was going on, Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran remarked that his city was "better than this," He urged the public to rally alongside Gagandeep and his family.

Very tragic news. Hopefully, the police investigate any possible links to terrorism in this case.

    ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹਿ॥

How should Khalistan be governed? Should harmless aspects of Punjabi culture be allowed, like Boliyan and Giddha? Mandatory wearing of Chunni? Because if so a lot of people would be turned away from the idea of Khalistan.

In my opinion, Parchar of Sikhi should continue in mass scales, without the forcing of Sikhi onto anyone. Leave it up to the individual to make their own choices. Obviously, it is the Khalsa’s Rule so effective laws should be put in place which do not compromise Sikhi or people’s freedom. If we look at the Raj of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, the Misls or Maharaja Ranjit Singh, religion wasn’t forced upon anybody. and whilst there was an emphasis on Sikhi, music or dancing wasn’t banned. So is this how Khalistan should be like?

Do we get rid of Punjabi culture altogether, or start a reform to remove the toxic parts of Punjabi culture without neglecting Sikhi? What are your views?

Well, non-Baptized Sikhs (and non-Sikhs) should be allowed to dance. Full ban on dancing might not be a good idea. Also, we cannot force non-Baptized Sikh (and non-Sikh) ladies to keep their heads covered. We can have laws against public indecency, when it comes to clothing.

    Some other potential laws.

    • Strict laws against racism. casteism, sexism, domestic abuse, etc.
    • Tobacco ban is a must or gradually phase it out like New Zealand is doing.
    • Death sentences for rapists, pedos, terrorists, murderers (first degree), etc.
