Kaam is one of the five evils we are suppose to elevate ourselves from. It is for procreation. Kaam Dev is the god of love in Indian mythology. So if by making ‘love’ to your wife like kaamdev, would imply treating her like a peace of meat? Is that your idea of honouring women? Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is complete Guru in itself. It is Guru even without Sri Dasam Granth or ‘Sarbloh’ Granth.

` most of these are not traditions but practiced and beleived by the UK nihangs only and their few associates. But even they don’t practice Jhaatka, because as we all know Jhatka is not offered in the UK as they are all factory farmed animals, which are not killed using the Jhatka. Make love like Kaamdev? what kind of perverted tradition is this? the tradition of anceint Indian prositutes? how can one honour women by such a lustful(perverted!) mind?

Beast you mean he wasn’t allowed to serve Parshaad?

Nice pictures indeed. For those who may not know, the Baba in the last picture is the ‘Guru’ of the kukas. We as Sikhs do not hold him in any shape or form as a ‘Guru’ as the only true Guru on the Gurgadi of Guru Nanak Dev Jee is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. All other Gurus who claim to be the rightful Gurus on the Gurgadi of Guru Nanak Dev Jee are false Gurus. But nice pics, keep em coming!

All Confusion cleared !!! The 101% rare and original picture

Are you suggesting that Sachay Patshah Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee does not even deserve a golden palki yet a picture deserves gold? Wow! Never seen Shardhah like this before…where a picture deserves more respect than the actual Saroop of Guru Sahib Jee. -

narisingha wrote: In suraj prakaash there is a mention of Guru Jee showing Baba Banda Singh Bahadur millions of Shastardhari Shaheed SInghs when he looked up in the sky. Fellow forum member Veer Amrit has translated that part of the Sakhi on another topic in this forum. “(Taken from Sri Gur Partaap Sooraj Granth) When 'Banda' heard these advices (by Guru Gobind Singh Jee), he asked with folded hands, "What will I do going there alone? How will I fight against millions of the enemies? It will be appropriate, (if you give me the 'Gupt' power), so that I could take revenge killing the enemy. Thus, please protect my honor. Your attribute of 'Greeb Nivaaz' will come to light". Guru Jee said, "There will be thousands of 'Akaalis'. I have appointed them under you. You will have a big army. If you do not believe, then close your eyes and see by yourself". When Baba Jee closed his eyes, he saw millions of them ('Gupt warriors') in the sky. There was no end to that army. That was a very huge army of 'Singhs'. They were having guns, bows and arrows. They were capable to kill the enemies. (Sri Gur Partaap Sooraj Granth, 'Ain' 2, 'Ansoo' 6, page 6246).†taken from: http://sikhawareness.com/sikhawareness/vie...=shaheed+singhs Narsingha, perhaps now you can explain to us how you interpret “shainvay crore.†-

Well I hope you know what “96†means? In Punjabi it is called “Chianway†or even “Shianway†depending on what area you come from. “Crore†means 10 million. -
Looks like stainless steel. Should be made of Sarbloh.

Narsingha, your one to talk, who is the butt of all jokes on other forums (especially the Sikh-history.com forum!). Anyway, the reason I may have sounded a little more compassionate is because out of all of you SV practitioners, Mugarmach Singh sounds the most sensible person, who has earned my respect, and my previous message was directed towards him not you or anyone else. But since you’re also in on this, here goes… What I meant by “puraatan Singhs†are the puraatan Singhs of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee’s period down to the misl period i.e. MY ancestors and forefathers. What I meant by “96 crore Shaheed Singhs†are the spirits of 96 crore Singhs who have laid down their lives for the protection of Dharm. -

Mitra your alright. Anyway everyone is misunderstanding what I really meant to say. When I called SV hoax, I meant that I do not believe it is the original Sikh martial arts in it’s entirety as it was during the times of Guru Gobind Singh Jee. Neither is present day Gatka. But both are useful in battle. Contrary to what some say, Gatka can protect and fend off aggressors. There are stories of some Gatka practitioners who fended off hundreds of armed men during the 84 riots after Ms Gandhi’s death. But I have been told by some people that the current Sikh martial arts be it Gatka or SV is only 10% of what the original Sikh martial arts was during the Puraatan times. But I have also learnt that the power of 96 crore Shaheed Singhs also helped and aided puraatan Singhs. Is it any wonder how the puraatan Singhs whom I consider to be Brahmgianis can defeat the powerful ferocious Pathans who were a source of terror for the Indians for hundreds of years. -

Mugermuch, I don’t care to understand your bania way of conversing. Only weaklings talk like that. GTA means greater Toronto area. Hope to see you soon. Your pie is waiting for you. -

Mugarmuch your way of conversing reminds me of an old Indian saying “apnay ghar dha vich taa kuthaa bhi Sher hundaa hai†(even a dog acts like a lion in his hous). If you truly want to prove to me that you are infact a “mugarmach†then come and meet me in any Gurdwara Sahib in the GTA area. Then I will see if your Mugarmach Birthaah (bravery) is a real as you pretend it to be or as fake as Mugarmach ke ansou (crocodile tears). And yes, I will get more then your beloved "Mr Kipling Apple Pies". BTW, in Punjabi when calling a person “Sidhaah†it does not mean “thinking straight†but means a person who is very slow and unintelligent in other words moorakh. -

Mugarmuch, you are so hilarious. Your profanities don’t make me angry one bit, on the contrary they make me laugh at your moorakhtaa. You are so Sidhaah. Oh how I wish I could meet you in person, then I would see if you had the guts to say any of that crap to my face, or better yet why dont you PM me and tell me when and where you would like to meet. -

Brother Jungee (should be spelt as Jangee!) 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. I never said Gatka is the “true†martial arts of the Sikhs, but whatever Shastarvidhya is, it is anything but the one being practiced and taught by Nihangs in India. -

Maha Singh, sorry to burst your bubble about the this mythical martial arts Niddar may have told you about, but it is anything but Nihang martial arts. It seems hardly anyone here has had any real experience with Nihangs in India. They see the Nihang world through the eyes of these Pant wearing, non-chatka meat eating nakli Nihangs of England. “In a desert where nothing grows, a castor plant looks like an oak.†This applies perfectly to the Niddar and his “shastar vidhyaâ€. -

Conclusive proof? Just take a look at their video for a minute and then compare that abomination with how the real Nihangs in India do martial arts, and you will have your proof. It really surprises me how gullible most of you NRIs are. Is it any wonder Sikhs in Punjab refer to you western born and bred Sikhs as “Sidhahâ€. Niddar teaching this so-called “shastar vidya†and packaging it up as the “real†martial arts of the Sikhs is a perfect example of a Punjabi saying “Anayaa’ch Kanaa Rajaa†(One eyed man is king amongst the blind).
