  1. i agree with 12 p.m. pacific time (tha's noon for those who're havin a blonde day). is there any chance of havin it then?
  2. lol... iono Neo. ur really havin a blonde day today aren't you? how can i say this in the most un-graphic/pornographic way?.... men don't have the same organs that women do that allow for a fetus to develop in them. yes, artificial hormones and organs have been used to rectify some genetic disorders. but these artificial hormones and organs are very primitive compared to how a real human body works. there are so many hormones and systems in play for a pregnancy to be successful, this kind of thing isn't going to be possible for a very long time. in fact, it may never happen because artificial things can't really replace the real thing. secondly, if this was real, it should've been all over the news and in all the scientific journals that deal with human medicine. but it wasnt, because it's not real science or scientific research. so yeah... tha's very funny. but it's not real.
  3. i'm already in canada, u goof. lol... but thanks for the offer. i'll be sure to bore you out of your mind. oh but wait, tha's not possible. i forgot. you're already outta your mind.
  4. me too. i mean for all of humanity... i was under the impression that cheating meant acting on your thoughts. ie you've got a wife and you have fantasies about her best friend. well, tha's your preroragative to have those fantasies. but if you act upon those thoughts and desires, i consider it cheating. do you see the difference?
  5. Neo... the man just SAID Pacific! dun you get it? now all i gotta do is remember whether you pacificers are 3 hours behind us, or 5 hours behind us....if it's five there, it's probably... 8? here?...
  6. okay. just made my life about ten times easier. thanks! if i knew it was gonna be this easy, i would've said this in the first place. hahaha!
  7. s_f, u just destroyed my peace of mind. i thought we were done with this topic. and then you come along. tch! i'm jus kiddin with ya... so what's your definition of cheating s_f? tha's the relevant question in this new debate.
  8. whaaaatever. me on crack. please, dun crack me up. lol. and you know, as dumb as i may ever get, i'll always be comfortable knowing that you'll always be dumber.
  9. imagine, if a woman on Earth, a mother, could be capable of such love, what the Mother of the Universe is capable of...
  10. sexysingh, i don't know why you were expecting something like that... tha's not my style. cept when it comes to you and cheating. (sorry, i couldn't help myself.) anywho. i'm not really going to add much to this thread in terms of whether it's right or wrong for a Sikh (whether he/she has taken amrit or not) to cut his or her hair. tha's something i'm still not sure about. BUT i would like to add something. a lot of us make judgements on people who cut their hair or keep their hair. and i don't think that that's necessarily right. when we make a judgement like that, we're basing it on ourselves and what we think. we're using our perspectives of the world to tell us whether it's good or bad, and whether the person is good or bad for doing whatever they're doing. this is not to say that Sikhi doesn't have an answer to what is right or wrong. i'm specifically talking about people who look down on those who cut their hair or look up to those who don't. and when we make these decisions on other people, we're really making statements about ourselves. in our eyes, someone who cuts their hair becomes less than us and we become superior in our own eyes. and that's not something that i believe Sikhi encourages us to do. lastly, in the end, whatever happens in a person's path to God is their own personal adventure/journey/quest/what-have you. who are we to intrude on their learning process and tell them what they should be doing or not? i would think that it's up to the individual and Guru Sahib to decide whether what is happening is right or wrong and what should be done about it. but at the same time, it's a completely different scenario if a person asks for help, guidance, advice or commentary. who knows what experiences that person needs to live through to gain whatever knowledge is required for their life to be complete? i'm not gonna pretend that this makes much sense. but a lot of stuff doesnt. and we aren't exactly supremely enlightened souls to know what someone does or does not need to provoke some sort of growth. so the next time you see a mona, think twice about what you're doing before you pass judgement. because you never know what kinda judgement your Guru's gonna pass on you for doing something like that. and yes, i apologize for being totally off topic. but now you guys can go on talking about whatever it is we're talking about.
  11. and do you know me? nope. so dun talk.
  12. i'm still not sure if those are emotions or just my particular mindset. but i'll definitely look into those audio books. thanks for the suggestion.
  13. let's deal with one issue at a time. who's the girl? i'm just kidding... for you to ask after what Harpreet and i just said, i think it'd be kinda obvious that yeah, the word's been overused and abused. as for ur second query, i don't know whatcha mean by a blank statement, but yeah, she's definitely flattering you. or she's being sincere. if you don't know her well enough, give her the benefit of the doubt. if you know her sincerely (meaning you've had personal contact with her and actually know her and not just the stuff she does), then it may be safe to judge whether she's bein a charmer or sincere. now i've got a question for you. what does this have to do with Sikhi?
  14. does he have a method for a mind that is argumentative, stubborn and foolish? cuz imma need that one.
  15. what's with calling Joginder Singh Vedanti "the holiest priest of the Sikh religion"? i wasn't aware we had a priesthood.
  16. Pheena, dun worry you made perfect sense. it's Neo who doesn't know how to phrase his questions. lol... what do girls mean when they say they're spiritual? one/both of two things: 1. what Pheena described 2. that they aren't religion-oriented and can't be bothered with it's rules. and possibly that they can't be bothered with being religious in any sense. to them, life is their religion. and spirituality consists of being a nice person and doing humanitarian things. is that the answer you were looking for?
  17. hmmm... is there no room in Sikhi for one to choose whether he or she wants to take amrit? or is taking amrit an inevitable fact of life and for us to do otherwise automatically unsikh? is there really no difference between being a sikh and a khalsa sikh?
  18. aiiyoo Amrik. how many times do i gotta tell you NOT to spread your germs on other people. that wasn't me. that was beast. not that it matters, he's full of it anyways. colgate? oh god no! Crest is where it's at my friend.
  19. you guys are crackin me up. JSB... here's something you can learn from me. i'm cool, you're a loser.
  20. as long as everyone sticks to bein civilized, then anything can be discussed, no?
