  1. Sad part is not that he died. Death ot eternal.

    The sad parts are

    1. They didn't let his funeral happen in Amritsar. Then when his family took him to verka ( his pind) they didn't let it happen there too... Then it was some third place out of the pind that they carried on his funeral.

    2. He wasn't given proper treatment. U can feel the pain in his voice.

    3. One of his jodidaar is still in hospital and yesterday he also confirmed that Punjab Govt. is Not providing any proper medical treatment to any patient.

  2. Few days ago, a  couple of us, while sitting in a family dinner were discussing " How does SGGS guide us to tdeal with Bad company

My view of  this is that Kabir ji says that we should- " Run away "  from such people and avoid while my mom says that SGGS guide us to try and correct or educate them

And another family member added that we should pray for them to get ' su matt'

What are the views - if possible panktis from SGGS - of sangat here on this??

so sikh sakhaa banDhap hai bhaa-ee je gur kay bhaanay vich aavai.
He alone is a Sikh, a friend, a relative and a sibling, who walks in the Way of the Guru's Will.

    (601-18)
aapnai bhaanai jo chalai bhaa-ee vichhurh chotaa khaavai.
One who walks according to his own will, O Siblings of Destiny, suffers separation from the Lord, and shall be punished.

bin satgur sukh kaday na paavai bhaa-ee fir fir pachhotaavai. ||1||
Without the True Guru, peace is never obtained, O Siblings of Destiny; again and again, he regrets and repents. ||1||

    _-------------------------------------------

Everyone who listen to the Guru is a Sikh. Sikhi was and will never depend upon the family you were born in. If Jaikara believe in Sikhi - he's a Sikh but Jaikara, no person can be classified as good or bad by which religion he's born in. Indira Gandhi, Gangu were born in Brahmin family whereas there are 100s of examples from Bhai Mardana ji, Pir Budhu Shah, Sai Miya Mir who were born in Muslim families.

    Sat sri Akaal All,

I have a question. Please @Lucky @Sat1176 @HisServant guest Singh veerji clear my doubt. Normally during meditation/ simran my body feels light nd I feel like floating but today I felt opposite. The body became very very heavy. As if I was a stone. Rather every part was tooo heavy to feel. Did I do something wrong?? I didn't do anything different or unusual that I am aware of.

    Please advice. Is it normal?

  5. REPOSTING

, I wanted to confess that Amritrass not only appears but disappears too. I had a big argument in the family about a month ago and I said a few things in rage as anger took over me, which I regretted saying later. But I lost all the amrit Rass from my mouth. I regret it so much. I was so sad. So sorry. Though I wasn't wrong in putting my point  just that in heated moment I hurt someone's feelings in the way I said it..

It took me a month to apologize and convince waheguru ji and make up for what I have lost. I have now got it bck but at the beginers level only.

Please I am putting this here and in sweet taste thread, so that anyone who is going through this may not commit the same mistake I did.

: the Tenth Gate referred by Guru Jee in the verses above,  is located in the center above the 2 eyes;  and the key which has to be used to open that Door and have His darshan, is His simran alone.

Can any abhiyaasi Gurmukh please validate the position of Dasam dwaar. All this while I was under the impression that it is the crown of the head - the Sahastra Chakra. I feel a sensation there at the meditation time.

The Bhai Sahib in this recording makes an excellent clarification starting at 22:30 seconds about poan shabads and their confusion.

Poan shabads are sounds you hear externally from two objects striking, voices when talking to someone.

Anhad are crickets or birds chirping in the initial stages because mind has not seperate from air. You need to keep listening to these shabads with concentration and where comfortably possible try hold breath for few moments and listening. According to him the sound clarity will improve and you will begin to hear sound like chumta, gungeroo or tallyia.

Listen carefully to the entire clip for those who want to progress. Some important points are made regarding being able to put your yourself to sleep / sunn via simran first otherwise one may not be able to sleep afterwards and mind body may become unbalanced.

So that would mean that all the sounds that we hear on closed ears are all Anhad sounds and none are paon shabads- yipee!

Am I correct in understanding veerji?

  8. Life starts at naval - remember

if you are a beginner start with naval- read about naabh ghaat in SGGS for confirmation. ( that's where sukham body and upper body are connected) and that's the knot for Amrit Rass too.  Later as you progress you can shift to heart and then to trikuti

If you start from trikuti without proper' gunns' like meditating at heart brings humbleness and softness( love for all) then it may backfire- read content from happydays veer on this forum.

All the best for your journey!

Love for all- sarbat the Bhala!
