  1. It's a Khanda like sword used by American Indians made from jungle hard wood with obsidian shards embedded on both edges.
  2. Your husband is a Muslim as well?
  3. Good point bro. Going to the Gurudwara to meet more than one female at a time ought to make us and her husband rest more assured.
  4. That could be the equivalent to the two boat metaphor though.
  5. So society tells us. But if that was true all the Bhenjis wouldn't be conflicted about it. We've just been taught to idealize prebuscency. Apparently it varies naturally.
  6. Another way to put it... You don't want to change Sikhi, or associate with people that change Sikhi, it's better you know and support what Sikhi is and just admit this is one place you're falling short. You're better off in Sangat that say it's Kurehit, and just being a papi like everyone else that is also falling short of the Guru's example. In the right Sangat the mini beard would turn heads were those heads not so disciplined as not to turn. The Bhenji with the Dhari gets the cred.
  7. If you want to use your own mind go ahead. Get laser and be part of any Jatha you want. Finding someone else to be your echo chamber to condone committing a Kurehit doesn't change anything. If you choose to do whatever to your Kesh own it. But Veer Ji was right about knowing the Guru's thoughts on keeping Kesh. It's one of your Panj Kakar. Sorry Bhenji. A real Gursikh husband would love your Kesh and be truly impressed with you keeping it. Be careful with common sense. It's Kalyug.
  8. Another poor analogy. If you take a mold of a statue, and cast it, all replicas have a mark from that casting process. The original has no such mark.
  9. This is a poor analogy, but if you had a game developer, they have devs do a lot of the administration. So in most ages, the Avtar role is a Devte. During Kalyug, the Game Maker themself has an Admin Body, and manifest directly as the eleven Guru Sahiban. So if you were to look and see what account was behind all those it's the Maker themself. While if you look at who plays other spiritual greats in the past it's not so, they have dev and player accounts. The Guru Sahiban first demonstrated at length how to play the game according to Hukam, and then published the Ultimate Guide to the Truth on the Truth, in the form of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Gurbani, and Vaaraan.
  10. One upside of Kalyug is that instead of the Avtar role being played by a creation of Akal Purakh, Akal Purakh themself is the Avtar directly in the Nehkahlank, or markless form. So instead of sending a prophet for example. They come themself to play the part. You could think of it as a promise to all of us. That when it is darkest, that Akal Purakh is with us the most.
  11. Naam Gurbani Kirtan is the solution, protection, panacea.
  12. Best part of looking for Katha is sifting through it all. It was Bhai Jagraj Singh Ji or Bhai Sukhraj Singh Ji though. I'll see if I can find it.
  13. I am no expert friend, but I had heard any Gurbani in Sri Raag can do that when the situation is right. Seems to me, that Guru Sahiban would have been beyond wise and either included it or not from the beginning.
  14. Sorry in advance. Inside joke. "I can't see how it hardly matters, I mean it's all just a Khel and we're all just oneness anyway. Anything else is illusion."
  15. Have you read the Guru Granth Sahib Ji from beginning to end friend?
  16. It is further covered throughout the playlist.
  17. Crazy timing. I was just enjoying this free meditation that explains how to manifest things but it's Gursikhi.
  18. Worth watching the whole list repeatedly. However, the third video about 53 min in covers Nehkahlank Avtar of Kaylug and describes what the difference is between Nehkalank and the entirety of the rest of us. I know Sargun Nirgun is confusing especially in a Dharam one could call Panentheistic, but Gurbani repeatedly indicates the status of the Guru Sahiban as being Akal Purakh themself having no blemish, no creation mark never seperated even in appearance.
  19. Having read the forum quietly for a while I suggest the Sangat learn the difference between Advaita and Gursikhi.
