That's the reason Reading and understanding Gurbani and taking santhya and knowing the sakhi behind the shabad is of utmost importance.

But Guru Jee for sure tells us that: 
ਨਾਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਨਾਇ ਲਇਐ ਨਰਕਿ ਨ ਜਾਈਐ ॥
Naao Thaeraa Nirankaar Hai Naae Laeiai Narak N Jaaeeai ||
Your Name is the Fearless Lord; chanting Your Name, one does not have to go to hell.
 
Further on He tells us: 
ਜਮ ਦਰਿ ਬਧਾ ਚੋਟਾ ਖਾਏ ॥
Jam Dhar Badhhaa Chottaa Khaaeae ||
Bound and gagged at Death's Door, they are brutally beaten.
ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਕੋ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਸਾਥੀ ਮੁਕਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਣਿਆ ॥੪॥
Bin Naavai Ko Sang N Saathhee Mukathae Naam Dhhiaavaniaa ||4||
Without the Name, there are no companions or friends. Liberation comes only by meditating on the Naam
 
Moreover, again He tells us:
ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
Jamakaal This Naerr N Aavai Jo Har Har Naam Dhhiaavaniaa ||6||
The Messenger of Death does not draw near those who meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. 
 
He clearly warns us, that only thse who meditate on His Nam, shall be saved, for even the messenger of death dare not come near them.
We do not have to be very intelligent, thus to understand, that those who do not do this bhakti as seen in the verses above, shall be drowned in the terrible hell of the wheel  of "chaurasee ka ckakar" where only severe pain and agongy exists.
What other bigger hell can there be? Guru Sahiban do not want to frighten us with te reality of hell, but rather motivate and uplift us, with  the gyan of ultimate Truth, His sachaa Nao.
Life by itself is a hell,  for we are already away from Him since so long, and alas, we do nothing to make the most of this golden opportunity of human birth,  by running after all other external practices, except that one, of the jaap of the gurparasd of His Nam, as per throughout the Bani.

Ordinary Amritdhari Sikhs are not all Saints. We need to strive to follow as many Rehats as possible. It is extremely difficult to follow all Rehats, but one must keep trying. The Rehats are there to help a person on his spiritual journey. If a person loves Sri Satguru jee. then he will try to follow the Hukams of Maharaaj.
Gurmukh Brahamgyanis are not bound to Rehat Maryada, as they have merged with Sri Waheguru jee.

Thank you bhaa jee, for this wonderful affirmation above, it is the only truth.
For unless we strive to be one only with that ultimate Truth/Nam/Satnam, it would sadly mean we are still confused of what is all about that to be one with IT.
As long one has any other ideas of oneself or others, we are much away from that TRUTH.
When the rays emanate from that one SUN, irrespective of where they fall upon, all carry the warmth, the light, the purity of it, and at end of the day, all the rays return back and merge in the SUN.
Due to the paraphernalia of maya and koor, the jeevas remain confused and delueded within the 4 walls of the mind.
Unless one crosses the limits of the mind, one will not realize that one has to leave behind all those coverings which hold us back here in the mayavee realms.
For God realization, one first needs self realization as jeev atma, in order to know what our true spiritual nature is and then proceed towards that infinite and limitless Truth of Nam.
If He is an infinte ocean of Truth, each of us, are a drop of the Truth, irrespective of jaat, paat, color, creed, dharam, genders or nationalities.
It is just a matter of realization of what that Truth is, and then do the needful only (bhakti) to merge in IT.

Yes but if sikh saints don't strive to be Sarabloh bibeki,  then is it really that important. Because Guru jee has repeated many times,  without love and naam we can never find nirankaar jee

Dharna wala Kirtan can be done sometimes by ordinary Sangat, but the focus of most Raagis must be on Raag Kirtan. If they don't know how to play Sikh traditional instruments or do Kirtan in Raags, then they must try to learn it.

We must think of Kirpans and Karre as Shastars. We must keep our Kirpans as sharp as possible and wear big fat Karre on both of our hands. In that case, at least we can do something to save an innocent person, in case he or she is being assaulted.

Those who don't believe in raagmala have no right to be called mahapurkh as simple as that.

The worst thing is they don't stop at raagmala, most of these so-called gursikhs also ignore the end of Benti Chaupai and also skip Arril, then make pathetic excuses for skipping these.  Look how these troublemakers have confused the innocent sangat!!! I think SGPC and some jathebandis promote this grave Bhasauria corruption of benti chaupai bani!

What about Dharna kirtan then?

I think we all know that since sgpc came in control of Akaal takht many puran hukamnaamas and maryadas have been changed. There is a hukamnaama that sampat akhand path shouldnt be done but sampath path maryada was started by dasve patshah and pargat one again by Baba Nand Singh jee. According to me one who doesnt believe in raagmala is not a sikh, waho waho baani nirankaar hai.
