  1. Peoples.... There is no point in arranging debates and arguing over what is and what isnt. Let it Be. For those that dont believe, fine. For those that do, thats fine also. But please, lets not get involved in slanging others beliefs. I personally am For Sri Dasam Guru Granth Ji, but yet members of my family are anti dasam. Does that mean that i stop talking with them? These are their beliefs and im no one to force them in what to believe in and what not to. We will all be judged by our actions in the court of god. Yet these people read Jaap Sahib, Swaiyee Chaupai and other banis! People will never understand the wisdom of our guru's. SGGS Ji is Brahm di Bani, Sri Dasam Granth Shows the femanine aspect of god. We worship one shakti that has many forms. Sri Sarbloh Guru Granth also advises us how to live the life of a Khalsa. This is all down to education, thats all. With regards to arranging debates against each other, why cant we make a world forum where the sikhs unite and fight against the necessary things?? With all due respect (and i dont mean to sound degrading)but sikhi is a dying religion because we are getting into petty debates. We need to unite, fight against tyranny, fight for singhs like the ones that gave their shaheedi in afganistan. We need to unite and be one, not separate and segrageted. PS: Big up to Zulu! Love the profile pic! Peace, Love n Light! Mit
  2. http://sikh-reality.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2009-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&updated-max=2010-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&max-results=29 Above, is a link by Jvala Singh. It tells you in details about what Brahm Kavach really is and the power it can genarate. As for reciting it, i assume that amritvela would be best but i dont think any timings have been attached to the Bani. As for chandi di vaar, as far as i know you should read Japji and Anand Sahib after the Bani. Peace and Light Mit
  3. Firtly, Happy Gurupurab all and Happy new year all! Does anybody have any information regarding the lifestyles of Nihang Singh's? What i mean is how they live, sleep, do seva. I have heard that they sleep only 2 hours and dont have hot bed like we do here. God Bless and Light. Mit
  4. Agree with MrLanda. People Like the AKJ, and some of the GNNSJ (sorry to say) have put the spanner in the works my putting their ore in and creating their own maryadas. I have also seen with some GNNSJ crew that if you have taken amrit, or are not an amrit dhari they tend to ave a bias view against you. Ok, they say you cant do Chatka, eat meat - they always try and drill this into you, but if this is the case, we shouldnt be eating any fruits also such as apples, plums, grapes because when the fruit rots within your body, it turns into alcohol! Niddar singh ji is a person, as mr Landa has said, is trying to revive a dying art. Why is it that our people all of a sudden accuse people of being part of 'RSS' or some hindu fanatical group when a referance of hindu mythology has been bought up when talking about sikhi. Ok, he has said some stuff that seems wrong in our eyes, but give credit to the dude, he has spent the best part of 25 years studying the Arts that were used by our guru army. Light Mit.
  5. Hi y'all! The Braj language, is it known as devagari also? Or are they 2 totally different languages. Light Mit
  6. Following on from Mr Landa, The AKJ were headed by Granthi Randhir Singh ji, who was heavily influanced by Mr Gandhi, and was very impressed by The Radha Soami sangat. They then later stated that Sikhi was 'Brahmanised' and that sacrifice of a coconut and chandan was nevetr part of Sikhi, and that chadka was never part of maryada. People like the AKJ have changed sikhi so much, that these days its no different from Budhism, IMHO. God bless, ove n Lightr y'all PS: KFC are going to be doing a christmas offer. Buy a Bucket for over £15, and get a £9.99 Bucket for half price.
  7. This is all Jokes from Fauji Ji! Dude, If you call your self the Khalsa, then you would accept the Dasam Bani's, Period. If you declare yourself as a knowlegdable person on Bani, you would understand that Sri Dasam Pita Ji never put his own Banis in the SGGS ji because his Bani's are Bir Raas. SGGS Ji is Sukh Raas, and before Bir Raas, is Sukh Raas. Also, You should understand that the Bani's in Sri Dasam Granth Ji are for our benefit and is telling us to be like the warriors, and also shows us a balance of Miri Piri, What happens if you get hankaar, if you get involved with bad company. People these days have become so narrow minded when it comes to sikhi and think its all about Jaaping naam. Sri dasam Granth ji shows us how to live as warriors, and that not to abandon our families and go meditate in the Mountains, and that people that Jaap intense Naam and live a family life. Im not going to debate with you,as you have your opinion, and i have mine. God has given duties to all. Some are Granthis, some are Saints, some are Kirtani's. I dont think you come under any of them banners, your just a blood sucking individual that is putting a divide in the panth. Your Videos make no sense, you should go work for the RSS. I should think that you need to keep your opinions to yourself. In your eyes, Sri Dasam granth is wrong. Who are you to tell people. If we are right or wrong, you are no one to judge anyone, or preach your crap on other people, we will all be judged in the court of God.
  8. thats fine, i will do it once i get my scanner all hooked up! I have a spare book at home. I think the other name for this granth is Sankat Mochan Shabad. If anyone would like it, i will send it across to whoever wants it. alternatively, i have been thinking if the SA Modarators would open a 'Global Library' there other Steeks/Shabads would be made available online in a PDF format of some sort. Just a thought as i have never seen this service available on other Sikh websites/Forums.... Mit.
  9. hi Jattboot Im not sure about location, but i can definately find out for you dude! Also, there was a pind called 'Chokran' where they went and the same happened there also. And yes, to get to bhanghal, my uncle had to go through a Shamsaar Garh. Woulf you loke for e to uplead some shabads for you? Mit
  10. Thats coreect! I have this granth at home, it has over 1000 shabads in it, and from experience, it does work wonders. However, you have to keep good rahit and you will be tested through out your shabads. My Uncle, from india, started to do some and they also worked for him. Once he started Chandi Di Vaar and on the 30th, out of the 40th day he was reciting this shabad, he started to her Jingles,a bit like chanjars. As time went on, he started to hear these more intensely and realised that the sounds that he was hearing were the sounds of weapons being struck. He went to a pind called 'Bhangal' and there was a sant ji there and up on reaching the Dera, he saw Limbs of sant ji scattared everywhere around his Porra. Understanding this aparition, he did matha teekh at the dera and made his way back to his home. One his way home, he was approached by a young child and the child said 'What you saw back at the dera was correct, do not fear. You have been a victim of black magic and now Maharaj Ji has done Kirpa on you, go back home and distribute Dhaliya (Porrige) within your village and then on the next pooranmashi do an Akhand Paath' My Uncle then was distracted by some noise that happened behind him, he looked around to check what the noise was and there was nothing there. Upon turning around to speak to the child, there was no one there. The child had gone, nowhere to be seen. There were no trees for him to hide behind, he was amased. If you like, i can Scan these and put them up if you like?
  11. Hi guys! Wope all are well. I came across the term 'SADAA SAMPOORAN PAATH' and that all Bani's are read in one go, including rehraas. Is this a correct procedure? Below are the Banis that are read. God bless and light! Sadaa Sampooran Paath means "ever complete reading." It includes the following Banis which are read all at once, rather than at various times of the day. The Paath includes: Japji Sahib (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 1) Shabad Hazaray (Siri Guru Granth, page 96, 660, 721, 722, 730, 795) Jaap Sahib (First bani in Dasam Granth) Swaiya (From Akal Ustat in Dasam Granth) Anand Sahib (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 917) Rehiras Sahib (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 467) Kirtan Sohila (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 12) Paintees Akhree (in expanded Sundar Gudka) Naseehat Naamaa (in expanded Sundar Gudka) Basant Kee Var (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 1193) Bentee Chaupae (from Pakhyaan Charitra in Dasam Granth)
  12. Hi peeps! Hope all is well. I know there have been many discussions about this bani, and i need to ask a question, and who ever i ask, i cant get a straight answer. My Question is: Can We read chandi di vaar, as part of our nitnem, or is this specifically for people who go to war? God Bless and Light! Mit
  13. DHANBABANANAK this sant ji you are talking about is called sant dho guttan wale babaji, and im trying to get some info on this sant ji. He lived in a village called 'Chokran' in india. The young girl there is called 'Bawa'. sant ji has now passed, and there was a seva daar there called 'Kasmira', who in turn took his seat. He has now passed aswell from what i have heard. Do you have more information on baba ji? Mit
  14. Cheers for the reply. But whats 'pichla pehr'?
  15. Hello all! Its been a long time, and i hope all are well! What is the earliest time i can do nitnem? can it be at 12:30am or does it have to be between 2 and 4 am? Many thanks and remain blessed, Mit
  16. This is what i have heard! ...about 2012, there is nothing that will happen in that year, but this will start to happen, there will be signs in the sky's. With respect to kalki avtar, he will be born into a brahmin family, within a village in india and when his birth occurs, there will be vibrations that will travel across the land and people will know about it. Sikhi will be reduced just to its name and people will forget the teachings and god will be forgotten, and this is when the shaheeds and kalki come back to re-instate the belief in god. Wars will break out and then a 'Jarnail' will rise. from what I have gathered is that people will confuse this as Jarnail Bhindranwalay. This is wrong as the 'Jarnail' that will rise will be the Khalsa Army and this will rise fron the west and spread to the east. The War that that will take place has already started, and will start in Kabul, where there are 2 energies, one being Naich Lank Avtar, who will come back as Dasam Guru Ji and people that have started other panths i.e Radhasoami, Darsha Dass will be thrown into the pits of hell. We are only 500-600 years into Kalyug, and we have 5000 years left of it. When Kalki comes, he will bring Satyug into Kalyug, meaning they whom renounce the name of god will be taken into satyug. People will start sleeping with their own, and there will be no difference between brother and sister as they will also partake in intercourse and people will become grrand paretns at the age of 20 years of age. This is when Guruji/Kalki will come back. Light. Mit
  17. I will have a look at it for you. i think its the Budh Dal gutka. Its has shatart naam mala, chandi charitar, chandi di waay, brahm kavack,. akal ustat, nitnem. Sukhmani sahib, sukhmana sahib, naseehat and karni namah. it has other banis also in it. Light Mit
  18. I have a gutka at home, and in it it has the aarta before the aarti. can someone please tell me what this is for. it also has a reference in to for brahm kavach also God bless and light Mit
  19. Sorry Dude! Thats what i got off the net! Lemme know the full, correct version of the sakhi! Light Mit
  20. you are right regarding this Khatha, but there is more to it. Dhanna Ji Prayed and said, 'Until Maharaj Doesnt do darshan, then i will not eat'. After that, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji appeared at Dhanna Ji's house and said 'I dont reside in stones, but as you have so much faith, and affection towards me, I have bless you, and Maharaj Ji Shared Parshaad with Dhanna Ji. Light Mit
  21. Regarding this topic. (Please gorgive me if i come across ignorant, and i am not disrespecting guru ji at all) but its getting very confusing and contradictory. Did the Guru's not eat meat when they went to War? Also Question: Okay. What about eating fish? I suppose that isn't really meat? "O Kabeer! Those mortals who consume marijuana, fish and wine - no matter what pilgrimages, fasts and rituals they follow, they will all go to hell. ||233||" (SGGS - Ang 1377) Is this practically speaking or is this a Metaphor? 'Those mortals who consume marijuana, fish and wine' isnt the Wine referring to Ego, rather than the Alcoholic wine? I understand what you are doing is talking with guru ji, but do we need to look further into the meanings? Light Mit
