science proves that a person cannot live without head.. i guess u know abt baba deep singh more that me.. science proves that grains do not have blood or milk, guru nanak ji proved science wrong.. science proves no soul... actually this is not abt science (vidya) its about brahmvidya.. wht guru sahib and gursikhs have said, wud never be wrong but you know science keeps changing..and this is what makes science progressive. again dont mix science into spiritual study, these are different fields like accounting science arts.. plants rocks are in 7th state of ignorance hence no dukh sukh, if it is supposed that they react because of pain on getting plucked then whts the use of such reaction if they have not evolved to move away, hide, make noise, send defence mechanism, so thts just a natural reaction. read some articles against this "pants hearing"!! oh yes.. i agree with bhagat singh : "It's quite simple, if being a vegetarian is not working for you, then don't do it."

WJKK WJKF, This jhatka prakash granth have been refuted topic by topic in the maas nishedh granth. Anywys, most of the points from this JP granth is historical.. u should know that historical granths dont have full authority. These historical granths states a lot of contradictory topics.. like gursikhs eating meat (as quoted in the JP granth), gursikhs not eating meat (pritham tajaho aamikh ko khaana, karho jaas hit jeevan haana||7|| sabh raakash ko naam japayo, aamikh khaan tinahe tajvaayo||18||, guru nanak prakash, adhyay 55) suraj prakash granth, raas 1, ansoo 26 - updesh of guru Angad Dev ji to Sheehe against meat eating and saved 100 goats (itne jeevan hinsaa karai, paap bisaal apan sir dharai ||7|| and lot more) guru sahib condemning rituals, guru sahib doing shraadh, guruji saying no to intoxicants, guru sahib getting intoxicated, guru sahib saying no to jewellery, gur sahib wearing earrings, different granths describing amrit sanchar in differently (kirpan, or khanda?) so many doubts come to mind... the best way as per baba hari singh ji randhaway wale explained is to do vichaar on gurbani.. and only after conclusion, we should try to fit the historical verses in the conclusion, if they fail, they shld be out. read the meanings of any shabad regarding diet.. if doubt share it on this forum and we all will do veechar. ***************************************************************************************** are meat eating sikhs not sikhs? I have no hate, as long as they following akaal takhat maryada, we all are khalsa. but all i say is that eating meat for svaad is not gurmat. Eating meat has been for survival (that too self jhatka and not going to market and buying chaanp or leg piece from shops or kfc or frozen, total unbibek), during jang times if needs arises. else satoguni bhojan is best for spiritual upliftment. as per yog vashisht (creation chapter), the jeev in the form of vegetation, rocks, soil, etc are in the seventh state of ignorance (sushopti). Hence, no feeling of dukh sukh. and i am referring to yog vashisht because Gurbani claims that rishi vashisht ji was a gurmukh - ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬਸਿਸਟਿ, ਹਰਿ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਸੁਣਾਈ ॥ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਨੇ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ (ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਣਾਇਆ।

WJKK WJKF its good to see the chardikala of bhai gurbaksh singh ji.. i m totally supporting him for this cause.. i m not offending him in anyway.. i have great respect for him.. but just a question for our future.. y we sikhs have opted for this" hunger strike "style protest.. like i m not complaining ..just want to assure myself... becoz we know this govt and badal and this system will not change.. even if he dies it would be like a fly has dead and the system will remain same... y dont we sikhs just give a kick in the butt of such a sarkar.. do not vote at all for anyone .. do not let pass any legislative bill.. just protest ..stop the work.. stop going to govt offices.. stop driving taxis trucks.. stop working on farms.. stop the money exchange.. their are hundreds of ways.. y the need of hunger strike.. yes he is still in chardikala.. thts because he must be a pure at heart gursikh.. no doubt in that.. he will surely accept death smilingly... but what wud be the result.. one more added in the list of shaheedi.. and the time goes on..!! its soo frustrating... i feel like crying and sometimes angry..

Well, what I think is what Puratan Granths say.. but I am unable to decipher it. Moreover while getting deep i face the above mentioned questions! examples: i read various commentaries from Advaita scholars.. about avidya but then counter arguments from vishishtadvaita and dvait scholars which are generally the above ones!! i read Kavi Santokh ji's 5th rut along with Dhudikey wale's and Hari singh Randhawa waley's katha about avidya 42nd adhyaya.. but its not deep explanation.. they just state that avidya or agyan is bin akaar (but thats soul/god too), its bin janam (again thats soul/god too), rahey ik braham ke desh mein (that means it stays someplace in GOD.. how????????????? where ????? no clear description) then i came to excellent source Prabodh Chandar Natak where how Agyan creats the whole universe is explained but its too difficult punjabi and i dont feel it still answers those questions but maybe it does as i m not able to translate it word by word. WJKK WJKF, I have read few books and articles (vedantic and Suraj prakash's rut 5) about the nature of avidya!! But i m still confused!!! instead of telling what i think (maybe i m completely wrong),, i want to ask / discuss with u guys.. lets get into it!! 1. What is Avidya? 2. How / when it is created - because Kavi santokh ji states (bin janam, bin akaar...), thats same definition of Brahman. 2. If it really is something real, then where does it resides? 3.If its unreal.. then how does it affects us? 4. If brahman is all Anand roop then how come avidya is present in Brahaman or even in Atama?? WJKK WJKF
