That's true. Although it would be nice to see Nihangs have a Taksal of their own where one can go get some Sikhiyaa about Gurmat. Currently many Nihangs go and learn from DDT.

I think that 3 versions is probably due to scribes making a mistake rather than Bhai Mani Singh Jee doing it on purpose. I'm sure Bhai Mani Singh was aware of the mistake that Baba Ram Rai Jee made and would not want to repeat it.

Try the Buddha Dal Nihang Gutka. It has Dasam banis. Or get the Das Granthi, which is composed only of Dasam Banis. Baba Mohan Singhs biggest Gutka also has alot of Dasam Banis.

I think that whenever the Panth deviates away from the Path of Gurmat, Guru Jee sends Singhs to bring them back to Gurmat. The puraatan and original Nirankari movement was one such movement, Baba Bir Singh Naurangabadi was also such a Singh. After him Baba Ram Singh Namdhari was also one who brought back many old Maryadhas. Singhs like Baba Karam Singh Hotimardhan, Sant Attar Singh Mastuanaywalay, Baba Nand Singh Jee, Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Jee, all the DDT Mahpursh especially Sant Jarnail Singh Jee. I beleive that such Singhs are sent time and time again to bring us closer to Sikhi at a time when we seem to deviate away from the path of Gurmat. Right now the Panth again seems to be going away from the path. The Sampradhas these Singhs have started bring us closer to to Sikhi.

I do agree with you about Greater Punjab though. But instead of NW frontier, it should be Jammu and Kashmir which should be part of greater Punjab. The five rivers not only flow through there, but even the language they speak is a dialect of Punjabi called Dogri/Mirpuri dialects.

Jatboot, The moghals were invaders who ruled over an indigenous people of Kashmir. The Pathans of NW frontier and Afghanistan are not invaders. They are indigenous of NW frontier and Afghanistan. They have their own tribal laws and traditions according to which they prefer to live. Why does the west feel the need to impose democracy and western ways on these people who just want to be left alone to themselves? Culturally/psychologically these people are still 500 years behind the rest of the world. Yet the west feels these people who are still obviously stuck in the middle ages need to imposed a 20th century ideology of democracy on them. They need to be left alone, it is as simple as that.

The world should just leave the Pathans to themselves. All the lands of the Pathans should be united and left to themselves to govern according to their traditions.

Not all Sants are at the same level. Ram Rahim isn't even a Sant. He claims to be a "Guru" at the same level as Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Sants like Sant Ishar Singh Jee and Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee were servents of Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Sant Ranjit Singh Dandarian wala has been domonised alot. He may not be perfect, but he did not deserve being demonised the way he was especially by Prof Darshan Singh Jee on Radio.

Kalki or Nehkalank will revive Khalsa Dharm when it is most down in the future. Some Mahapursh like Baba Karam Singh Hotimardhan say he will come from Khorasan, bhai Randhir Singh has also said this.

Mahteen Jee where did you hear all that from? From what I've heard and read about Shaheed Singhs, they uphold Khalsa Dharm. They can even take birth to uphold Khalsa Dharm even if it means to again become a Shaheed.

I once asked a Buzurge Singh the same question who does alot of Bhagti. He said that Shaheed Singhs do not just come from our world. They come from civilisations from all over the universe and even from previous ages before this current universe was created. The Khalsa/Sikh Dharm is all over the universe. I know this all sounds very far out and not very PC, but if you believe in Sikh traditions from traditional puraatan sources then it is not far out at all.

The old Ramayan was not that good. Although many people do like it. I mostly liked the original Mahabharat. Nothing beats that.
