they may preach bani..but the stress is on hindu mat...i had a chance to visist a sindhi gurdwara..it was so weird...smeone gives sermons..then someone sings ..some dance ...i dont mean disrespect ..but what i witnessed would be considered beadbi by us...never went there again...and those guys are a confused lot..all that so called sufi nonsense is too much in their head...

i would advice u to spend some time observing the deras and all the mutts and samaparday u think will do u any good..veer ji u r going against the guru's hukam by breaking yor friend's marriage, guruji has adviced the grihasth asharam since the most difficult karma is managing the family. first go to those people , its not easy to stay as in the old days, the soaring dal and roti prices are keeping accounting in place and u cant live on charity, u have ot earn yorself. the life u r seeking is due to some wild fascination of that 'avastha' ...someday u might even hate yorself for taking such decisions. give yorlsef time and dont dive into such decisions. i would say earn and plan yor earnings to do seva, shastar and shaastar(granths) learning and helping others learn will enhance yor life and other's too.

this was a bloddy gandhi waadi father ! hindu women dont mind marrying hazuri sikhs, the reason is the bonding is so strong, i been there thrice, my last visit was in january this year. its a amazing bonding and many hindus take amrit there. i know of a common friend who is a local has the last name rajkondewar i belive, he recently became sikh, he had grown his kesh, telling his family he would someday go to tirupati and remove them ! today he is a proud singh !

i haev heard katha of gyani sant maskeen ji , and during one of the occasion he explained that the custom of wearing a turban dates back to ancient times, the most noticable occasion happens to be when sudama goes to meet Sri Krishan ji, it is said that his clothes were tattered and he wasnt dressed properly. Sri Krishanji is said to have placed a turban on his nanga seer.
