  1. Are women allowed to eat jhatka and drink Shaheedi Deg/sukha?I'm asking this, because I know for a fact that Nihang Singhs did give women sukha to drink and jhatka to eat a generation ago.I don't know about now. Are women allowed these things then?I have a feeling they are not allowed. So why did they freely let women partake of these things.Do they still allow women jhatka and sukha?
  2. You get Jatt in Ramgarhia Misl.I know a few Jatt who are Ramgarhia.
  3. I believe doctrine of DoJ is not refuted in Gurbani. There is mention of DoJ along with Indian concept of Pralaya/Maha-pralaya.Gurbani mentions: DoJ, Azrael (angel of death), Pul Sirat (the bridge to heaven, below is hell, where sinners will fall) and some other Judeo-Islam concepts. I believe there is no conflict or contradiction between DoJ and what Gurbani teaches. You just have to have understanding of these kinds of teachings.I was just reading an English translation of Bhagvat Puran and it said something about the whole of creation going back into the body of Maha-Vishnu, where it sleeps until Maha-Vishnu wakes up again. All unliberated beings will sleep along with Maha-Vishnu.This dissolution has no affect on liberated souls.Something like that. Upajai Nipajai...
  4. Here is an Enlgish translation of one of my favourite Upanishads. Source: http://www.geocities.com/advaitavedant/katha.htm
  5. As a Sikh of Satguru Nanak Devaan Dev, your duty is to sikh (learn) from your Satguru.Simple.
  6. No, you got me wrong.I don't wholeheartedly believe Faridkoti Tika to be the be all and end all of Gurbani understanding. You shouldn't just read one translation or interpretation of Gurbani and think "That's it, I know it all now, I understand Gurbani, because Gyani Badan Singh/Macauliffe is the best ever Tikakaar!".No, it will not do.Ask the Goddess Sophia (aka Sarasvati Devi) Only Buddhi is key to understanding Guru Dev - Devaan Dev. There is never a stale mate when it comes to Gurbani Vidiya.
  7. Here is a Gyani for you:  http://sikhawareness.com/sikhawareness/viewtopic.php?t=4302 The Gyani Badan Singh Tika isn't the be all and end all of understanding Gurbani. But I would trust it more as a guide to understanding Gurbani than Macaulife or who's that other guy?Oh yes, Prof. Sahib Singh... Download and enjoy.
  8. Hari

    Sufi Art!

It would be great if he could do some paintings of the Satguru.
  9. There is no conclusive proof that Joshua Christ was a real historical figure.None at all.Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. And don't you dare accuse me of insulting or slandering Joshua (Yehoshua). Shalom.
  10. You can't get away from the fact that the "elected ones" translation is utter rubbish. This translation can only come from conjecture about Gurbani, and not from a Gyani. I do not consider Macauliffe a Gyani on Sikhi.Do you??
  11. Wrong translation.According to Faridkoti Tika by Gyani Badan Singh (and my own limited knowledge), that Pauri means: Panch parvaan panch pardhaan. (Panch parvaan = 5 manifestations upon meeting a Mahatma, they are: 1.Sat (truth) 2.Santokh (contentment) 3.Dheeraj (stoic patience) 4.Dharam (sense of righteous duty) 5.Daya (compassion) Panch pardhaan = the 5 senses 1.hearing 2.seeing 3.touch 4.taste 5.smell) I knew Panch pardhaan refered to the 5 senses, but wasn't sure about Pach parvaan.Until I came across Faridkot Tika. You can download here: http://sikhawareness.com/sikhawareness/viewtopic.php?t=4302 A lot of English translations are such rubbish and nonsense. Five elected ones??What's that all about?Burn Enlgish transltions I say. They're the work of Shaitaan.
  12. This seva is most appreciated.A hearty thank you.
  13. I just want to do a benati, for people not to watch this video of the American journalist being murdered by these demonic animals. I don't think it's right to watch "from afar" - voyeuristically - the man's undignified death. Please don't do this poor souls be-izzat, by watching his murder. It is a snuff movie if you ask me.Just my opinion.
  14. Then it is time for you to kill the god you created.Follow Satguru Nanak Nirankar, not the god you created.
  15. Truth, blah blah whatever you say.Load of rubbish. I just want to comment on what MI said here: MI, you sir are an absolute idiot, and that's the truth. Why?Because you insult Shri Krishan Ji Maharaj. You insult Satguru Bani too.Because the imagery and names of Krishan are in Gurbani. Many epithets of Krishan are in Gurbani, like: Hari, Gopal, Govind, Morari, Narayan, Mohan, Nar-Hari, Madhav/Madho, Krishan, Vithal (Beethal, Nam Dev Ji's Bani, he was a Krishan devotee), Damodar, Madhusudan (killer of the demon Madhu, that is Krishan), Gopi-nath (Master of the Gopi's, cowherd girls) and a few others. All these Great Names of Krishan Maharaj, refer to Vahiguru, Paramatma. So according to MI, Vahiguru is a fraud and charlatan.Have you read Bhagvad Gita in original Sanskrit?Do you understand it's esoteric meaning? This may help you gain some Buddhi: http://sikhawareness.com/sikhawareness/viewtopic.php?t=3114 Just one more thing to say: Don't you ever insult Krishan ever again, you insult Satguru Nanak Nirankar.Do you understand this?Or not?
  16. Panjabi is one of the most easiest languages to learn.I suggest you should learn it. Ura, Aira, Iri, Sassa, Haha...
  17. No, no - definately infinite possiblities.I've just checked, because now there are infinite me's!!
  18. Any kind of future prediction is not 100% accurate. There are supposed to be infinite possibilities. If you do soch vichaar over this, then you will come to the conclusion that there must be infinite possiblities. Well, maybe near infinite.Near infinite?
  19. Don't worry tableji, I wasn't directly accusing yu of mocking anything to do with (Nihang) Singh maryada. You are still learning, like me. Never stop learning. And look upon the whole world as Guru de Sikh.
