Maharaj Ji tells us that it is possible to become jeevan-mukt and I personally know a few Gurmukhs who I believe reached this stage. Does this get mentioned in any other religion? Also, some religions like Islam etc, believe in a single judgement day for everyone (except shaheeds). SAadmin Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 most of all other religions beleive in jeevan mukhti-eg- hinduism have concept of turiya avastha, islam have concept of najhahat and buddhism have concept of nirvana. 'I think' according to mainstream Islam, on judgment day, Muslims and people of the kateb, who did not truely believe in their Prophets, will go to to Jahannam, but will eventually be forgiven.
