Four Thieves Vinegar

Recommended Posts

Take a bottle of wine vinegar or cider vinegar and separate the contents into two bottles.

Fill the remaining half-empty (or half-full if you're an optimist) bottles with crushed garlic cloves, and a teaspoon or three of: cayenne or chilli pepper, black peppercorns, and black mustard seeds.

Let the bottles sit in the fridge for 2 weeks before using it.

Take a wine glass full with meals when you feel a cold or flu coming on, and continue to do so until the sickness disappears.

This is a popular recipe in the Southern States of the US to ward off illness or cure oneself of a cold in record time. In some parts, people will also take a bath with a couple of wine glasses of this recipe every day for a week if they feel they have been the victims of the evil eye (nazar).

K.

sikhs aren't allowed to drink alcohol.

Wine vinegar or cider vinegar, veer ji, are not alcohol. Also, wineglass is meant here as a measure of volume and, er, not a glass full of wine.

Thanks for the clarification. I was beginning to get scared... was thinking of doing ardass for you man! :D

LOL, an ardaas from a Singh is always a good thing!

I asked Neo Singh to change the title of the topic so that it doesn't confuse anyone else.
