For perspective sake that makes it on par with the oldest languages. So it's as old and original as anything on this planet.

Coptic is considered oldest documented language and it's older than that or basically same time.

Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages of the world and Punjabi is connected to it.

Bhul chuk maaf

Punjabi sounds are present in rig veda, the oldest veda and these sounds are not present in Sanskrit.

Punjabi has many similarities with Dravidian (south Indian) languages.

Punjabi and Dravidian languages were spoken in northern India, Pakistan and other nearby regions before the Aryans came 3500 years ago.

Plz read this research from Germany.

https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/dravidian-language-family-is-4-500-years-old-finds-international-study/story-xRsAAzj5wqOIVPAgd3TkWL.html

This study confirms, for instance, that Dravidian speakers were present in the subcontinent before the Indo-Aryan speakers arrived (around 3,500 years ago). We know about this from Dravidian (word) loans into Sanskrit but this is a confirmation,” said lead author Annemarie Verkerk of the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History in Jena, Germany

What more proof do we need that Punjabi existed before rig veda???

""Some words of Rig Veda are only found in Panjabi and no other language of the world like ਵਹਿੰਗੀ, ਤੱਕੜੀ, ਜਾਨੀ, ਗੱਡਣਾ etc.""

There is also a lot of influence of Dravidian languages over Panjabi who share common words with Panjabi, example ਮੀਨ which means Fish, ਡੌਲਾ meaning shoulder, ਠੁਠ meaning thumb, ਢੂਈ meaning back have all been taken from Dravidian languages. An ear ring is called Muruk in Dravidian languages while in Panjabi it’s called Murki ਮੁਰਕੀ. [1]

The ਲ਼ is totally lost in modern Sanskrit but Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Panjabi still use it. The words ਪਕੌੜਾ and ਵੜੇ are found in both Tamil and Panjabi. Some might argue that it’s same in Hindi but the Hindi language has no sound as same as Panjabi letter ੜ. As shown below the Hindi corresponding letter has a Ń sound than Ra sound. [2]

Tamil comes up repeatedly. That place is super linked to Sikhi.

I lived in Chennai, capital of Tamil Nadu for few months and the people there are much better than north Indian bamann/banniya.

They are much simpler and ethical and praise Sikhs for their sacrifices for Indian independence before 1947.

North Indian Hindus make jokes on Sikhs but they also mock Tamil Hindus and their darker skin and their way of eating/dressing etc.
