Check out the channel i posted, its in there. There is a reason that consumption of alcohol is a Kurehat and not a Bajjar Kurehat. Singhs can consume alcohol in a battlefield. There are two historical references to alcohol consumption in Sikh literature. Other than that, Sardar Charat Singh Sukarchakia, the famous Sikh warrior and grandfather of Maharaja Ranjit Singh used to drink alcohol too. Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who has made Sikhs famous all over the world, also used to drink alcohol. Just a couple of examples. Obviously, they don't justify the use of alcohol for recreational or intoxication purposes. Also, from a modern perspective, alcohol is probably used in a lot of medications and other stuff like colognes, mouthwashes, deodorants, etc, so it makes sense for it to be a Kurehat only.
