Your other sources such as Khalsa Dharam Shastar also advocate many other things such as caste pollution and barring entry to the Darbar Sahib to "lower" castes. So fake nihungs who take sukha use kavi santokh singh's work to say that Sukha is permitted and Guru Ji took it. Some nihungs say that they are allowed to take it but Guru Ji never took it. Kavi santokh Singh's work is used to justify that sukha is okay. kavi santokh singh was alive during times of ranjit singh, during this time sukha has crept into nihungs and royal houses. ranjit singh was a druggy. there are places where kavi says Guru ji took sukha and other places he says sukha is banned. At one part of his granth, santokh singh says that sukha is strictly banned along with other drugs. I will be posting some links to those parts in suraj granth.
