Freed Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 Gurfateh ! Here is an interesting photograph and video - it shows 'Rajputs' performing 'Shastar Puja'. I believe Rajputs have a tradition of performing shastar puja - especially just before 'Dussehra'. If anyone has any more info please post it - especially with regard to any similarities / differences with 'Sikh' shastar puja. (How it is performed , how YOU perform it personally - that sort of stuff would be great !) On a side note - I do love the decorated gun ! They even have a Dhadhi tradition (ballad singing) like ours. Chivilry was what a Rajput lived and died for.
