  1. Travelling nowadays in these times ......mp4 How to greet nowadays.mp4
  2. Yes it is a meme of Corona virus. And you query of my whereabout, well bro, I am in the same boat as rest of the world, which means cofined at home, which is necessary for one's security, as well as for our family members at home. We need a lot of patience and mentalization to go through this difficult phase, which by His grace shall hopefully pass away too. Hope you are fine also. SSA.
  3. SSA Bro, when I mentioned Ravan's example, my point was not only of desiring others wives/spouses, but that of in spite of acquiring so many powers due to his intense jap/tap/....had so much gyan, yet he could not overcome his vikars, especially "kaam" and ahankar. You see, there is a big difference between becoming celibate and celibate... It is by His apaar kirpa, that one reaches that state of celibacy by attaching oneself to Nam within. Though there is not much to worry about, for when one looks at the embodiment of the highest purity and eternal Truth, in the form of our Guru Sahiban for example, they too had children, but that does not mean they had any vikars, least to say about kaam, plus that much be added of which we ordinary humans maybe are not aware that those wadbhagee souls who reach that level of higher conciousness, work or act, accordingly to the laws of Nature, they never do anything against that law. It is only from our level, our side, that we have doubts, because we are very low. Plus, when one approaches Waheguru with true love and true devotion, He will take care of all his/her needs or envoirments such as family settlements....plus that high spiritual state is out of any ordinary or intellectual mental state. Bhakti is not a path of words nor speculation, but of applying oneself to that desired spiritual practice. And about Ram being good or Ravan bad, I am not going to enter into any controversies, let everyone decide for himself or herself, and have their own conclusions, though that much I will surely say, look it from a higher and wider perspective. It is said that Ravan was a watchman at Vishnu's darbar, so once some brahmins or sages wanted to enter and meet Vishnu. As they were not allowed to enter, so they cursed that watchman to be born as rakshash in several births. Then Vishnu came and told him that once the curse is given, it can not be taken back, but as he was just doing his duty, thus in each birth of his, He himself would come to deliver or rescue him. That is why he came as Krishna, as Ram, as Narsing...etc. For when that deity comes to deliver you from life, you are to go to his abode, in this case, of lord Vishnu. I don't know how much truth is in it, but from all theories it makes sense to me, at least. This was something I read quite long long ago from some hindu religious book, so don't take each word as exact, but as a pointer to that scene. SSA.
  4. How to become celibate when married ? To answer this question, let us first see what is to become a celibate. Celibate at its peak, is the absence of kaam vaasna. And we all know kaam, is one of the 5 chor, probably the most dreadful of all the vices, it has dragged down big rishis and munis, it affects also the residents of the astral and causal planes. Ravan, who was such a gyani, he had overpowered the gods , strong devotee of Lord Shiva, he was full of supernatural powers, and also filled from toes to head with all the 5 vikars, thus impure minded. Among all his vikars, it is seen that his kaam vaasna, by desiring to possess someone´s else wife, was the reason for his downfall, he died like a mad dog... Nature is wise, when gods even could not defeat him, it was this very vaasna, which dragged him to the muds. To commit (adultery)sin with someone´s wife, or woman apart from one´s wife is the biggest sin that one can commit. And the punishment for it heavy also, is like voluntarily jumping into fire to burn into ashes. To try to overcome it by any means, is as good as impossible. Except when one is showered with His apaar kirpa, and one attaches himself/herself with Nam within. For as the Bani says: Prabh ka simran, mun kee mael jaae. If there was any other way, Guru Jee would sure let us know, but He constantly throughout the Bani, tells us to join our surtee with Nam, through His simran. There where Nam is, there is no kaam, nor any other chor. There where shines the absence of Nam, kaam and all vices fall as heavy chains on the jeeva. Nam is the liberator from all sins, from all negative tendencies, stops for once and ever the unending cycle of births and deaths, and finally, purifies us to the extent, that we merge and become one with Waheguru Akal Purukh. The thing is, to attach oneself to Nam, is not in the hands of anyone. It is not like saying, I feel like having a cup of tea, so goes to the kitchen and makes a cup of it. Rather, it is only by His apaar kirpa, that one practices Nam bhakti. In that respect, the following beautiful verse from the Bani is crystal clear naanak har jee ma-i-aa kar sabad savaaranhaar. O Nanak, when the Dear Lord shows kindness, He adorns His bride with the Word of His Shabad. Stay blessed. SSA.
  5. Routine for these stressful days of Corona virus effects.mp4
  6. Great message from Bill Gates. Subject: Bill Gate's views on the CVirus....Brilliant. What is the Corona/ Covid-19 Virus Really Teaching us? I’m a strong believer that there is a spiritual purpose behind everything that happens, whether that is what we perceive as being good or being bad. As I meditate upon this, I want to share with you what I feel the Corona/ Covid-19 virus is really doing to us: - It is reminding us that we are all equal, regardless of our culture, religion, occupation, financial situation or how famous we are. This disease treats us all equally, perhaps we should to. If you don’t believe me, just ask Tom Hanks. - It is reminding us that we are all connected and something that affects one person has an effect on another. It is reminding us that the false borders that we have put up have little value as this virus does not need a passport. It is reminding us, by oppressing us for a short time, of those in this world whose whole life is spent in oppression. - It is reminding us of how precious our health is and how we have moved to neglect it through eating nutrient poor manufactured food and drinking water that is contaminated with chemicals upon chemicals. If we don’t look after our health, we will, of course, get sick. - It is reminding us of the shortness of life and of what is most important for us to do, which is to help each other, especially those who are old or sick. Our purpose is not to buy toilet roll. - It is reminding us of how materialistic our society has become and how, when in times of difficulty, we remember that it’s the essentials that we need (food, water, medicine) as opposed to the luxuries that we sometimes unnecessarily give value to. - It is reminding us of how important our family and home life is and how much we have neglected this. It is forcing us back into our houses so we can rebuild them into our home and to strengthen our family unit. - It is reminding us that our true work is not our job, that is what we do, not what we were created to do. Our true work is to look after each other, to protect each other and to be of benefit to one another. - It is reminding us to keep our egos in check. It is reminding us that no matter how great we think we are or how great others think we are, a virus can bring our world to a standstill. - It is reminding us that the power of freewill is in our hands. We can choose to cooperate and help each other, to share, to give, to help and to support each other or we can choose to be selfish, to hoard, to look after only our self. Indeed, it is difficulties that bring out our true colors. - It is reminding us that we can be patient, or we can panic. We can either understand that this type of situation has happened many times before in history and will pass, or we can panic and see it as the end of the world and, consequently, cause ourselves more harm than good. - It is reminding us that this can either be an end or a new beginning. This can be a time of reflection and understanding, where we learn from our mistakes, or it can be the start of a cycle which will continue until we finally learn the lesson we are meant to. - It is reminding us that this Earth is sick. It is reminding us that we need to look at the rate of deforestation just as urgently as we look at the speed at which toilet rolls are disappearing off of shelves. We are sick because our home is sick. - It is reminding us that after every difficulty, there is always ease. Life is cyclical, and this is just a phase in this great cycle. We do not need to panic; this too shall pass. Whereas many see the Corona/ Covid-19 virus as a great disaster, I prefer to see it as a great corrector. It is sent to remind us of the important lessons that we seem to have forgotten and it is up to us if we will learn them or not.
  7. In Gurmat, pure spirituality, what really counts and matters is Ik, means One. Sree Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj says right from the begining in the Bani: Ik Oankar Satnam- Gurparsad Jap. In this one single verse, the whole tons of all holy scriptures, is summarized the essence of spiritualty at its highest peak in simple words, and direct to the point. What really counts is that One Supreme Universal eternal and changeles Truth, namely Waheguru Akal Purukh. If we look at numbers like, 3, 33, etc ....we get confused and lost in variety, but if we look and fous on One, only Waheguru and His Nao, we get true freedom from maya and the wheel of 84, thus return and merge in our origin, Waheguru. Countless millions of rays emerge in the early hours from the One Sun, all carrying the same warmth and light, irrespective on where they fall upon, so are the souls who emerge from Him, but due to duality and all mayavee forms including trinities and their spouses or energies, gods and godesses, all are tightly trapped in the endless wheel of 84. EKAS(WAHEGURU AKAL PURUKH) BIN SABH DANDH HAE It is only by following Gurbani, that we get to know, love and hold on His Lotus feet, through Nam bhakti. As the Bani says: Ik Oankar Satnam- Gurparsad Jap. There is only One creator lord Satnam, who is realized not by any other practices, rituals, ceremonies, austerities, pilgrimages, pujas, paaths, prayers, rosaries, offerings, etc etc etc..... but by the jap of the parsad given by Guru, Waheguru. For us as sikhs, only One, Waheguru counts, and the bhakti we offer at His Feet matters, rest is all maya, all fanah, howsoever fascinating it may appear to be. Nanak Nam jahaz hae, jinee chareeya se utareeya paar. The teachings of Gurbani, deal only with praises and unconditional love for Waheguru and His real form of Nam or Shabad, though it mentions many other things and beings just as complimentary information of His creation, but to give devotion to the only One Waheguru Akal Purukh. Vin Naavai Hor Dhhan Naahee Hor Bikhiaa Sabh Shhaaraa Without Nam, there is no other wealth. Everything else is just poison and ashes. Raag Maajh, Sree Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj Sat Sree Akal.
  8. Darshan dekh jeeva Gur tera

    Pooran karam hovay Prabh mera.

    Eh benanti sunh Prabh merey

    Deh Nam kar apnay cherey

    Apni sharan raakh prabh daate
    Gurparsaad kinnae virle jaate

    Sunho binou prabh mere meeta
    Charan kamal vasae mere cheeta

    Nanak ek karae ardaas
    Bisar naahi pooran guntaas

  9. Verily true Brother. Their present bad character is due to their past karam, and they being vegetarinas in this life, is only to not go with heavy karam when departing from this plane of consciousness, and while being bastards in this life, is also bad karam which undoubtedly they will have to pay for. Nothing goes un-noticed in Nature, howsoever microscopic or hidden, each action commited has its reaction, whether by thought, deed or verbal. Sat Sree Akal.
  10. God is one, basic principles are same among all religions , then why some religions (Christian , Muslim etc.) allow to eat meat? Regarding the topic of this present thread, that much I could say : Satgur bajoh hor kachee hae Bani. In one of the 10 commandments of christianism, it is said : Thou shall not kill. It does not say do not kill men, or u can kill animals, it just says: thou shall not kill. For any killing implicates creating "karam". The law of karma, is not known nor accepted by many, yet it is verily true. Then too, not only the basics of any dharam count, but after that, the higher teachings are very important also as per Gurmat, in order to reach that ultimate reality of Waheguru. Creation is imperfect and has to continue running like that somehow, and its explanations maybe out of the reach of our limited minds, thus not accept the higher truths as per Gurbani. Our main duty is to have cleared up our minds with the aid of Gurbani in order to fulfill our objective in human life of merging our surtees in Him, and also do the needful and be helpful to all beings as nishkam seva, for in all resides His Jot. Rest is all His hukum, which we may never understand, until we merge in Him and become one with Him, the highest level of consciousness or chetanta. Sat Sree Akal.
  11. Lakh khushiyan paatshahiyan je Satgur nadar kare

Nimakh vekh Har Naam dae mera mann tann sheetal hoye
Jis ko poorab likhiya tinn Satgur charan gahe

  12. An eye opener verse from the Bani ਗਣਤੈ ਸੇਵ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਥਾਇ ਨ ਪਾਇ ॥ Ganathai Saev N Hovee Keethaa Thhaae N Paae || That devotion which is calculated in numbers is no devotion at all, and what is done is not approved, thus time wasted for nothing is achieved except that the haume is strengthend.
  13. Question 16: Dear Guru Jee, why is it that throughout the Bani, only the praises of Nam bhakti are mentioned, yet , hardly anyone pays attention and adheres himself/herself to it, but rather they faithfully do all sort of practices? Guru Jee: dear sikh, please bear in mind that nobdoy by himself/herself can follow the path of Nam realization within, for it is not in their hands at all, and because: ਸਚਾ ਸਚੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਕਰਮ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਾਇ ਲਾਏ ॥ Sachaa Sach Dhaathaa Karam Bidhhaathaa Jis Bhaavai This Naae Laaeae || The True Lord is the True Giver, the Architect of Destiny; as He pleases, He links some mortals to the Name, all others run according to their manmat. Sat Sree Akal.
  14. ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਹੈ ਮੈਲਾ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਰਮਿ ਪਤਿ ਖੋਈ ॥੨॥

Naam Binaa Sabh Jag Hai Mailaa Dhoojai Bharam Path Khoee ||2||

Without the Name, the whole world is polluted; wandering in duality, it loses its honor. ||2||

  15. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: Those who implant the Word of the Guru's Shabad within their hearts cut their connections with the five passions. They keep the ten organs under their control; their souls are enlightened. ||1|| They alone acquire such stability, whom God blesses with His Mercy and Grace. ||1||Pause|| Friend and foe are one and the same to them. Whatever they speak is wisdom. Whatever they hear is the Naam, the Name of the Lord. Whatever they see is meditation. ||2|| They awaken in peace and poise; they sleep in peace and poise. That which is meant to be, automatically happens. In peace and poise, they remain detached; in peace and poise, they laugh. In peace and poise, they remain silent; in peace and poise, they chant. ||3|| In peace and poise they eat; in peace and poise they love. The illusion of duality is easily and totally removed. They naturally join the Saadh Sangat, the Society of the Holy. In peace and poise, they meet and merge with the Supreme Lord God. ||4|| They are at peace in their homes, and they are at peace while detached. In peace, their bodies' duality is eliminated. Bliss comes naturally to their minds. They meet the Lord, the Embodiment of Supreme Bliss. ||5|| In peaceful poise, they drink in the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. In peace and poise, they give to the poor. Their souls naturally delight in the Lord's Sermon. The Imperishable Lord abides with them. ||6|| In peace and poise, they assume the unchanging position. In peace and poise, the unstruck vibration of the Shabad resounds. In peace and poise, the celestial bells resound. Within their homes, the Supreme Lord God is pervading. ||7|| With intuitive ease, they meet the Lord, according to their karma. With intuitive ease, they meet with the Guru, in the true Dharma. Those who know, attain the poise of intuitive peace. Slave Nanak is a sacrifice to them. ||8||3||
  16. Everyone is a beggar; God is the Great Giver.

The Treasure of Virtue is the Infinite, Endless Lord.

That person, unto whom God grants His Mercy

    - that humble being chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||

  17. Question 15: Pyare Guru Jee, which is the greatest blessing that Waheguru can bestow on anybody, and how do we recognize it? Guru Jee: dear sikh, just as when a father hugs his child, it represents an expression of pure love which is the most precious , for in his arms the child is most safe . Though this is a very high expression of love, yet the 2 remain as individuals. But when Waheguru blesses with His love to the sikh, He embraces him in such a way, that the child merges in Him and becomes Father Himself, means, full consciousness, full awareness, complete transformation. And that is nothing but His grace, as seen in the following verse : ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀਨੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਸੰਜੋਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ Kar Kirapaa Dheeno Har Naamaa Poorab Sanjog Milaaee ||1|| Rehaao || In His Mercy, the Lord has blessed me with His Name. My pre-ordained destiny (of God realization) has been fulfilled. With His mercy, He blesses us with the understanding that Nam is the only eternal Truth, and by attaching ourselves to it through the simran of His holy Name, we get ferried across the Mahabhavsagar and reach His abode, thus fulfill our purpose of coming as human beings. Truly speaking, this is a mark of His real grace, for He can never give us any such thing by His own, except Nam, for it would mean to remain away from Him and strongly engaged in the cycle of 84. Every other thing we get, is by the merits and seeds of our karmas, but only Nam bhakti, is a blessing from Him as a sign of His Infinite love for us. Guru Jee, clearly constantly repeats throughout the Bani, as per which bhakti pleases Him, yet we remain deaf and blind to His divine words, and proudly as deep ignorants do faithfully our manmat, the limited number of breaths which we brought as our credit, is wasted away in manmat practices, thus return as empty handed fools, upon departure of this plane of consciousness, with the aid of that jam doots then beat us, for wasting away the gift of human life in such a foolish manner due to our manmat and worldly runnings after maya... Nam bhakti as per Bani is a must for all jeevas from all walks of lives, it is not as many believe it to be for the high avastha ones only... or when I become a better person, only then I can do His Nam bhakti... No, that is totally wrong. We start becoming better, since the very moment we enshrine the Truth of His holy Name in our hearts, in our minds.... Stay blessed.
  18. I do not think at all, that the student from Englando who wrote this article above is correct, for he is mistaking vikars for sins. The vikars are within us, in our minds, but they by themselves are not sins, though we can say, that under their influences, it is most probably to commit sins/ bad karmas. Which is a very different thing. We also have positive attributes within us, just as peace, humility, forgiveness, awareness, etc ..... but unless we do some action under their influences, we do not create good karmas/punya. Ultimately, we have to be good and build a high and a noble character, if we want to walk on the higher path of spirituality. For being good, we attract blessings from Him, which is very much required, if we love Him and want to merge in Him, for then He will arrange things for us in that way, that we may reach His abode for sure. He is the doer of our "melaap" with Him Stay blessed.
