I have read the comments on the Tapoban site, and N30 Singh, please don’t take a comment out of context and then label a person a ‘fanatical’. The Gursikh Bana is modest and so should the behavior of a person wearing it. Maybe living in the west has made you very ‘westernized’, but back in Punjab when we see a couple kissing and making out, they are called Besharam. Now those guys are Goray, so I don’t blaim them for kissing in public as they are not familiar with our Punjabi ways and concept of Sharam. But for a Punjabi to support such Besharam acts is in itself Besharmi. What a couple does in their privacy is their business, but to do it in public is just badmaashi, plain and simple.

Why are you calling them ‘Satguru’? as a Sikh we can only call Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee that. Call them Baba Ram Singh Jee, not Satguru Ram Singh Jee.

N30 Singh, I don’t understand how you expect to honour the puraatan Shaheed Singhs when you are here taking every chance possible to trash the sacrifices of the recent Shaheeds. We honour and remember the puraatan Shaheeds when we do our ardas, tell their stories to our children and most importantly try to reflect and live life in accordance to Sikhism because of the Shaheedi they gave for our present generation. We no longer have the need to honour the modern day Nihangs for the sacrifices of the Puraatan Singhs. What have they done in the recent past that we the Sikhs can be proud of? With the Nihangs forcibly taking over farms of the Punjabi farmer, betraying the Panth in 84, Nihang Chief Ajit Singh Poola who is responsible for many deaths and even raping of women, the Punjabi people no longer feel the need to honour the modern day Nihangs for the sacrifices of the Puraatan Singhs. Sikhs don’t think of Nihangs as the true inheritors of the legacy of puraatan Singhs anymore just because they have lineage, but instead our people honour the recent Shaheeds such as Sant Jernail Singh Jee Bindrawalay, Gen. Shahbeg Singh, Bhai Fauja Singh as the true inheritors and torch bearers of the puraatans Shaheed Singh’s legacy. The reason is because they didn’t just wear a Bana, have a long beard and talk about this and that. They backed their words up by giving the ultimate sacrifice for the honour of the Khalsa Panth. They were chivalrous and brave like the puraatan Singhs. That’s what counts and deserves respect, not lineage. Giving respect based on lineage is futile and quite frankly ridiculous. It’s almost us trying to revive the outdated and dead tradition of honouring every Bedi and Sodi out there because they might be related to the Gurus. If in a future Sikh conflict the Nihangs give sacrifices for the Panth, then they will deserve respect from the Panth, but currently I cannot and will not be politically correct by saying they deserve respect because of the sacrifices of our ancestors.

Let me make myself clear for a minute because I may have confused you in my last post. I beleive in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee as my Satguru. All other deh dhari Gurus are false in my opinion. I cannot attain oneness with Vaheguru without the kirpa chaya of my Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. For me, my Guru is the roop of Vaheguru.

First of all, the Nirmala didn’t even exist during the times of baba Deep Singh Jee. That Nirmala sakhi is just a fake make up sakhi some Jatt came up with to maintain Jat dominance within the Sampradahs. Baba Deep SIngh Jee was a Nihang, and not the head of some Nirmala dera(who didnt even exist back then).

First of all Taksal claims it’s lineage from Baba Deep Singh Jee and Baba Gurbaksh Singh Jee both being ‘Nihangs’. They were not Nirmalas. In other words, Taksal claims descent from Nihangs NOT nirmalas. Stop trying to twist history. Kirpan dha Amrit is inferior. Why just kirpan amrit and that too just from one Singh and not even Panj Pyaras? Why not Kirpan dha AMrit for grown up men? Why just women? What kind of a sexist attitude is this...please abandon your Wahabi Talibanistic attitude towards women and allow them to become equals to men rather than holding them back.
