2) You have to keep a maryada of the farla. You cannot lie down straight if you have a farla as the nishan sahib should never face down.
3) A Farladhari should add a few more bania to there Nitnem I think.

Going back to the oringal topic, Nihangs are dead. Not in a million years, the philosophy of the nihangs is out in numbers with a different form/expression. Many thakareh sants/akalis will take birth in the west, our generation is paving the way for them, or paving the way for ourselves in the future..
One last thing, people really need to get this... there are people who want mukhti, as they see maya as an illusion and no point getting involved. Brilliant, beautiful and respect  for their desire.However, their are also those who see that maya will always be here and want to fight for righteous.The nihangs want to take birth again and again as long as their guru is Guru Gobind Singh Ji. is this such a hard concept to understand..

The ongoing kar seva is unlikely to restore the two-and-a-half-century old ivory mosaic work, ‘gach’, a sort of stone or gypsum priceless murals, naqqashi and paintings, depicting mythological scenes which was destroyed in January 1986 when radical Sikhs pulled down the magnificent structure of Akal Takht following the ‘sarbat khalsa’. The priceless naqqashi which fell prey to militant diktat 16 years ago was a specimen of excellence attained by Sikh craftsmen. While the craftsmen had dedicated their lives to complete the exquisite art work in the interiors of Akal Takht, the same is none being done in a hurried manner.
Mr Surinder Singh and Mr Satpal Danish — both sons of the late G.S. Sohan Singh, famous fresco artist who had worked for 32 years in Golden Temple — alleged that the art work at Akal Takht was not being done as per the traditional design and technique. They claimed that the present paint and art work being done through kar seva would not last long.
Mr Danish claimed that he was the first person who had objected to the demolition of Akal Takht in 1986, but nobody heeded his advice then. “However, I kept frame-by-frame frescoes and gach work which included paintings of Hindu gods with me,” he said, adding that more than 20 per cent of the craft work of Akal Takht and 60 per cent work of the Golden Temple was done by his grandfather, Bhai Gian Singh, who had devoted his life to this work.
Fresco paintings were introduced by Bhai Kehar Singh under the patronage of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Today, few artists pursue this ‘Sikh school of art’.
However, Baba Amrik Singh who has been supervising the kar seva being done by Dera Baba Jagtar Singh at the behest of the SGPC said the life of the new technique of naqqashi was more than the traditional one. He claimed that while the old structure of Akal Takht had been demolished and the frescoes and rich art work had disappeared after 1986, it was not practicable to use the ‘traditional technique’ to adorn the interior walls with old frescoes which had disappeared forever. He said the design of Akal Takht had also been changed when the building was reconstructed after 1986.
The historical well, which was got sunk by Guru Hargobind had been included in the spacious building during the earlier kar seva carried out by Damdami Taksal.
Replying to a question about the enamel paint, Baba Amrik Singh said only water colours were being used which did not fade for five years.
Baba Amrik Singh claimed that the fresco work was being done by Mr Harbhajan Singh who had more than 40 years of experience in this field. He said he had done 50 per cent work of retouching the frescoes of the Golden Temple.
The state convener of INTACH, Dr Sukhdev Singh, asked the babas who are carrying out ‘kar seva’ to use old materials and styles, in consonance with what is in the sanctum sanctorum of the Golden Temple.
Experts and knowledgeable persons must be consulted on the issue. He said old blocks of the designs preserved in the archives of the SGPC or in private possession could be of great use. The use of synthetic and bright colours did not reflect the ideology of Sikhism or belong to the Sikh school of art, he said.

Even if the existing Mukhis choose the next leaders, it won't always ensure smooth transitions. We have two examples from the Taksal itself.
When Sant Baba Bishen Singh jee Murarewale chose Sant Baba Sundar Singh jee Khalsa as the next Mukhi of Taksal, there was a squabble. Some Singhs wanted Baba Prem Singh jee to become the next Mukhi. This issue reached a point where Baba Sundar Singh jee had to leave the Dera to maintain peace. Rift after Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh jee Khalsa Bhindranwale went to Sachkhand. You probably know the details. The conflict happened, even though Sant Baba Kartar Singh jee was appointed as the next Jathedar in front of thousands of people (Sangat).

He did choose, in 2005 he chose baba surjeet singh ji. Balbir took advantage of baba santa singh when baba santa singh was ill. That was the whole problem
 
He did not go to budha dal to ask for forgiveness. He even wrote that he doesnt find that he was wrong.

So this is what went down:
Back in the mid 90s Balbir Singh wanted to and tried to become jathedar of Budha Dal. Baba Santa Singh kicked balbir singh out and balbir then formed a separate budha dal. In 2005 Baba Santa Singh made Baba Surjeet Singh Ji jathedar, and all major nihang jathebandis were there such as tarna dal,bidhi chand dal, harian bela dal etc. Everybody proclaimed Baba Surjeet Singh as jathedar. 
Around 2006 Balbir came back and asked for forgiveness from Baba Santa Singh and because Balbir is Baba Santa singh’s nephew baba santa singh forgave him. Around 2006-2008 baba santa singh started to get ill and that is when balbir started to manipulate baba santa singh. Before baba santa singh died balbir got baba santa singh to sign budha dal over to balbir. At this fime baba santa singh had no idea what was happening cause he was ill. In 2008 SGPC and niddar made balbir the jathedar of budha dal. No other dal came to give balbir a siropa. It was only niddar and sgpc. 
When Baba Surjeet Singh Ji found out that baba santa singh died the whole fauj tried to go to baba ji’s funeral but balbir and his nakli fauj stopped baba ji from coming and did not allow baba surjeet singh to see baba santa singh. 
Later on Baba surjeet singh went with the fauj to balbir and they had a fight there which in the process balbirs brother got killed. (It was determined that baba surjeet singh’s fauj did not actually fire first). Balbir then tried putting Baba Surjeet singh ji in jail a few times and finally suceeded after some time. Baba surjeet singh then told Baba joginder singh ji to be jathedar in his place cause baba surjeet singh ji cant rule the fauj in jail. Baba joginder singh ji was more bhagti oriented but accepted. Baba ji was also known to frequent UK sangat as well. At this same time balbir was pressuring Baba joginder singh to accept balbir as jathedar cause balbir was saying that if he didnt he would put baba joginder singh in jail as well. 
On Sept 3rd 2014 Baba Surjeet Singh died in jail due to poor health and living conditions that he recieved in jail. At this time Baba joginder singh was in the UK and could not come for antim saskar etc. The Fauj then decided that they would make Baba Prem Singh the jathedar of budha dal. So Baba prem singh became the 15th jathedar of budha dal. 
When Baba joginder singh came back he was okay with what the fauj had decided but the Singhs who were with Baba Joginder singh did not like what had happened. They were just looking at their own agendas(im not gonna name names right now). There was still prem pyaar with both Baba Prem singh and baba joginder singh, but tensions within both parties cause some rift. 
In 2015 Baba joginder singh proclaimed Balbir as jathedar by giving him a Dastarbandi etc. Balbir said that baba joginder singh is jathedar of rakba and that its good that they came together. Baba prem singh and fauj was pissed as to why Baba joginder singh was going with the person who killed baba surjeet singh ji. 
In November 2015 the sarbat khalsa also proclaimed that Baba Prem Singh was true jathedar of budha dal.
Balbir hasnt gone to nanded cause nobody wants him there. If he even shows up he would get his ass kicked.
In 2017 balbir paid some of baba prem singhs men to murder the chakarvarti jathedar baba bahadur singh ji. Those people who shot baba bahadur singh ji went to jail for some time but balbir got them out and now they are at rakba. Balbir also paid baba bahadur singhs son to leave baba prem singh and go to rakba.
Right now budha dal is in a real bad situation, but in the end the truth shall prevail.

ill get straight to the point,.. so  unless you are a practising nihang or have an affiliation with such people you cannot really know whats going on. i don't mean dressed up nihangs. So best to be quiet , judge in your cosy blanket and keep your opinions to yourself. Reason being you are posting your sh*t on a net that potentially every one in the world will read and somewhat believe. 
Anyway, santa singh did not get involved for a few reasons, not that he was a pro congress (maybe he could be..ok) but for the following reasons,
1..he told Jarnail singh to not promote akali dal or have any affiliation with them as they will stab him in the back, which they did. 
2. that the morcha should be in anandpur sahib not harmandhir sahib (if you have a war strategic mentality/preparation you will know why.)- this being main reason.
3. the fact that the head of buddha dal was the head of akkal takth (so should be making the military decision) 
4. this is just my opinion, santa singh wanted to gain power of akaal takth, hence taking responsibility of taking govt money to rebuild the takht.
 
Right, i feel santa singh was wrong not to get involved in the morcha. But do not forget the nihangs that did, remember they are going against the decision of their head. A big big thing in any military organisation.

I was at a nihang taksal and they give santheya of Sri charitarpkhyian to bibi's as well. So Satkiran please don't think that only males read it. There are many instances as well that male treachery are accounted for in Sri charitarpkhyian. The name of Sri charitarpkhyian actually means the wiles of humans. 

This is in reply to material posted by a Guest in other thread. I will speak from personal experience and my personal beliefs in Guru Ji. I do not care about the authenticity of Charitropakhyan from historical perspective. Since, the Chaupai Sahib is well approved by all the Panth, Charitropakhyan comes along with it. Baba Nand Singh ji took the rehraas from Hazoor Sahib, which includes the dohra about 405 Charitars. If there was anything controversial , Baba Ji will not have approved it. That alone is enough for me personally to have faith in words of Guru and Sant Mahapurush, I will not  change that at any cost, no matter how many historical sources this and that you provide me.
There are two questions that I would like to address, and some questions that I would like to ask Anti-charitropakhyan people in the end.
1) How can Guru Gobind Singh Ji write erotica ?
2) If this is bani, why is it not read in front of sangat in diwans ?
 
Ans 1 : Can Guru Ji write erotica ? It really is the fault of those who view it as erotica. When they make such a statement, they are basically assuming that Guru ji is on the same mental level as them. They assume that Guru Ji is affected by Lust, that Guru Ji will get excited when they will write such erotic material or tales. They assume that Guru ji like us find the form of woman attractive or get desires just like them. These people view Guru as a normal human being with desires like them. They think that Guru ji finds this material sexy, just like they do. They are making all these assumption based on their human nature. They do not know anything about the nature of their Guru. They are judging Guru based on their limited experience of reality & bondage of sexual desires, and their own insecurity. Just like no one can know about God, no one can know about the Nature of Guru. We can only say he is beyond and beyond. Neo Singh often does a good job in describing such states of non-duality untouched complete awareness, as evident from Akal Ustat.
          Now I will give my own example. I went through medical school. I have touched breasts, I have done manual vaginal physical examinations with my hands touching each and every portion you can imagine, I have done Pap Smear examinations taking samples from the cervix, I have assisted in deliveries of babies and witnessed the tearing & all the emotional drama. I have witnessed the female form in its fullest, deepest & grossest state. I have dissected bodies, penises and vaginas.   Do you know what was the state of my mind during my exposure ?
                        It was neutral. There was no sexual feelings associated with anything at all. Instead the opposite happened. My libido had decreased to zero after doing those pap smears and handling crazy mothers during delivery. I was not excited at all at the sight of breast or female form.  I was just in that state. The atmosphere was very professional & such thoughts never arose. Thus, if someone like me , who is lowly nothing, can experience this state of non-attachment to female body & loss of libido after so much exposure, do you think that Guru Gobind Singh Ji  who is the creator himself, the one who created Maya will be affected when writing sexual descriptive tales.
 
Ans 2 :   If this is bani, why is it not read in front of sangat in diwans ?
Consider this bani as something which is for certain advanced Sikhs who hold positions of great responsibility spiritually and politically, or saints who need to learn the antics of great maya before they can reach their ultimate goal.  Only those who are medical students & Doctors are allowed to witness & perform the procedures on female body that I mentioned above. Not every joe blow can come in and touch a woman's breast. This is years of rigorous training for a transformation of a medical student into a doctor or surgeon. Think of medical student as someone who risen above sexual desires and surgeon as a brahmgyani who reached his final destination.
If you teach this bani to someone who has not even read Guru Granth Sahib or has not even risen above the Lust, it will definitely seem as erotica. And all these people are only projecting their own insecurities , fears and weaknesses through their anti-charitropakhyan stance.
 
3) Why so many graphic details ?
 When you want to bring a piece to life, details are included from a poetic standpoint.  The details of sex positions, the voices of bed squeaking, ejaculation of sperm, deceit, or others etc recreate the scene and bring it to life. If you are getting excited reading this then you have a lot of work to do. Obviously, this was not meant for everyone. If you are getting weak in your knees reading this obviously you need to do a lot of work. And you think that writing cannot be manipulated? Did you know that in Sri gur partap Suraj Granth there is no mention of giving Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji getting the gur gaddi. Go ahead and try to find it but you won't. There is a Sri gur partap Suraj Granth in I think it's Nepal or someplace like that sant hari Singh randhawa vale knows where. In that Granth there is writings about giving gaadi to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Sri gur partaap Suraj Granth also didn't write about giving Amrit to bibi's so do you believe that as well?
Did you know that kavi Ji had 4 writers helping him with Sri gur partap Suraj Granth. They were supplied by the raja of I think was it nabha or patiala and those writers were corrupted by the British. In Sri gur partap Suraj Granth there are writings that write guru Ji had earings and did opium etc. These type of things were written by the 4 writers who were helping kavi Ji. So was the Raag Mala thing. I have gotten this info from true mahapurkhs who I met who have seen visions. 
Another thing that proves that kavi Ji does believe in Raag Mala. Kavi Ji was a student of head granthi of harimander sahib and jathedar of Damdami Taksal Gyani Sant Singh Ji. Now you tell me would gyani sant Singh teach kavi Ji Raag Mala is not gurbani and then teach his successor that it is gurbani? 
Regarding bhai randhir Singh I respect him cause in taksali books and I think it was in sant gyani kartar Singh Ji bhindranvale's book that said bhai sahib later on did start believing in Raag Mala like how bhai vir Singh later on started believing in Raag Mala. I know no akj will believe me but I trust the taksal and Sants who did write it.
I bet you won't believe anything I write here I'm just writing what I have learnt, read, and heard in my life.
 
 

Maharaja Ranjit Singh was ensnared by the wiles of a courtesan and fell for her. Her influence over him enabled traitors to enter the raj and reach very high levels. Consequently, at a key period in Sikh history these traitors conspired with the British and betrayed the raj. The raj fell. The consequences of one man not have read and understood the Charitropakhyan continue to affect the worldwide panth to this day.
