  1. The point is that sum peopel like to come on here and start throwing accusations and whatnot wivout even checking out their facts first!! and also for all the satani mat that flows around on this site banging on about respecting other people's diversity, this duz not apply to those who would prefer sikhs to have their own country. why the hypocrisy?
  2. you typed all that out for us??
  3. its unbelievable how people in high places still have their personal agendas over-riding the interests of the panth. you can expect it with the akali dal politicains, but when the clergy start to walk on this path , you wonder where it will end.
  4. bring the rss to budha dal? what common ground have you found between both organisations that make you think you will be successful? chatanga
  5. uma bharati, name rings a bell. thats probbaly the one i was thinking about. i dont follow news outside of panjab much. i just remember that there was a right stink about something she said/did. can anyone enlighten me what she was supposed to have done/said? sorry to everyone concerned. chatanga
  6. seriously guys, im sure that there was a woman high up in the bjpwho was in the news recently for some crimes or soemthing. i thought it was this gurumaa. am i wrong? the sadhu colours i can put up with, but the face-painting ? you can keep it.

  8. i thought only cow hide was used for tabla's etc
  9. are the goat hides used for anything ?
  10. we had a visit from a Sant Jagmohan Singh at wednesfield gurdwara. Is he quite a large gentleman? ( ie fat)?
  11. Did any of the cyber population manage to get away from their pc' sand watch a documentary about the Ganges? I found it really really interesting and have learned a lot about the wildlife and nature of northern india.
  12. what are your activites with the rss ?
  13. is the rahit the closest thing to sharii'a that sikhs have JM?
  14. with all due respect for the present Udasi Mahant of Baba Ishar Das' dera at Jalandhar, I didnt get the impression that he was as you make out above (bolded up). I had a q+a type meeting wiv him , and he just talked the same old stuff that the satani sikhs talk about. He didnt speak one word of english to me. He didnt make any impression on my thinking about udasis. It was the fisrt time I had been to an udasi dera, and i had begged my hosts for many weeks to take me. I dont think that i'll go again. Maybe to sangalwara just to see what its like, but nothing else. chatanga
  15. But who would they learn from gsingh00? they need someone to teach them. they again would only find these gianis in the samprdayes.
  16. nope. sorry, cos we do have the facilites to record programmes atthe gurdwara but no-one available to do it. i was doing the lavan screen presentation for the wedding upstairs.
  17. Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Wednesfield, Wolverhampton. yes it was Seechewal. will find out where they are going .
  18. sorry, i've failed to spot exaggeration over a million times.
  19. Thanks kam, yes that is a private dwelling, and it is not an ashram in the sense that we know it, but as a guess i would say that the chela who duz the fundraising for Baba Ji or is his represenatative in the UK, lives there and registered it as aplace of worship. There is another one that i know of like this quite near me, but the bloke who has his house registered as a place of worship, has never had any visible worship there for over 20 yeras. but its still registered as a place of worship. Sant Balbir Singh came to our gurdwara yesterday, but i was unable to listen to his programme, altho me heard he is very good, and a very comitted environmentalist. The best kind of mentalist methinks!!
  20. woden rd in wolves has privtae and business dwellings.have never heard of any of the people here ever refer to sant ashram on woden rd. it may be in one of the many factory units. also Pinderpal Singh did end up at Mehta although i find hiw translation of scriptures boring sorry if this mkaes me a jerk, but i find his reading and presentataion of history absolutly amazing, especially the Nankana SAhib saka, and at the moment im loistening to Ardas of the Sikhs by Pinderpal Singh, and it s really really good. also one thing that i wanna share wiv the scholars is that once I heard a recording of Sant Jarnail Singh, and he stated that there were gurmukhs who could give up to 12 different explanations of gurbani. In the katha of Jaap Sahib, Sant Ji gives 2 different meanings per line. Soit dousent suprise me that Sant Ji and Bhai Pinderpal Singh give differnt meaings, altho im sure they would disagree wiv each others explanations.
