  1. the edl were always suspected of being racists, which they denied but now they arent even bothering to hide it.
  2. ਯਥਾਰਥ- meaning ਉਤਸਾਹ-encourage ਪਹਿਲ- priority ਮੀਜਾ- ?
  3. that link for kulbir singhs work, doesntg work for me, but the persian writing at the sides of the khanda says "sarkar khalsa". I cant make out all the letters above the khanda to make words.
  4. thanks for that link to the Dhadhis, amardeep. really good info.
  5. dalsinghji, i saw in wolverhampton town centre muslims doing the same parchaar thing. after seeing this, i asked a few sikhs, why dont we do the same but start off in Sikh majority areas, like Blakenhall etc, so we are targeting Sikhs, more than non-Sikhs to begin with. They all shit themselves.
  6. getting back to Baba Joginder Singh's prog, has anybody recorded the prog at Nanaksar Thath, wolves on Sunday? i wanted to go, but prog was on same time as our kirtan class, and Navjeet singh seems to have changed his number, so i cant get any info.
  7. Nothing has changed, that's why we should use the example of the Sikhs who set up the 1st Sikh Raj, 10 years after 1699, and create another Sikh Raj, Khalistan.
  8. In fact? Can you please elaborate on how Khalistan will prob make things worse? And you don't have to be hot-headed to support Khalistan, or young either. Maybe you will be so kind as to give us detals of history before 1984. so those like me will have more understanding of why the Khalistan issue came about in the 1st place.
  9. so sad. bloody girls in chandigarh, thats where i first saw indian girls smoking.
  10. Yet Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib was shaheed, and his body actually dead from having his head cut off.
  11. there is a difference, ji, Narsingh is recognised as an avtar of Vishnu, whereas Guru Nanak Dev Ji, is told to be the son of Mehta Kalu and Mata Tripta. No where in any text, veechar are Narsingh alleged to have parents. What about the sons of the Guru's ? where they born the same way as Guru Ji? Even today Guru Nanak's Vansh exists. Are these descendants of Guru Ji born the same way?
  12. This is what I have thought for many moons, but have always kept to myself. Why deny the holy womb of Mata Tripta? If Waheguru has set the holy and precious creation, why deny it? Or why view it as un-natural, or dirty or shameful?
  13. i was thinking exactly that as i opened this topic.
  14. i cant understand how the sapt sring ie the 7 peaks works into this. otherwise its quite interesting theory.
  15. Bro, Guru Ji skips out on a lot of stuff, because it jusnt wasnt keeping in the theme of this Granth. Maharishi Balmiks granth is massive. I think that Guru Ji has just focused on the war aspects whilst holding onto the most important instances that led to war or battles in the Granth. Im gonna have a look thru my copy again in some days. RE Sita Mata's firetest, I cant see that Guru Ji himself would have been appreciative of this act by Bhagwan Ji. Also another thought that has come to me, Guru Ji many times throughout this Granth says " Accept the poets words in brief, Im afraid of the Granth getting too bulky/long." This maybe why Guru Ji kept the works short. I mean just imagine what kind of a Granth it would be if GuruJi included everything, it would be massive, and need 4 people to carry it.
  16. An objective of Chaubis Avtaara was to give to the lowcastes who were not allowed to read sanskrit granths for 3 yugs, access to the teachings and knowledge within. So there are instances where Guru Ji has combined the translative element with the war episodes to give a truly unique granth to the jagat.
  17. In katha, the sadh and a-sadh is explained as such: "Who is a Saint, Who is not a Saint, I do not wish to enter into this debate, O God, whatever has been written is through your grace." So the point Guru Ji wishes to make here, is not the importance of the characters to himself personally, but generally the theme running thru the Granth, ie Dharam Yudh.
  18. these have nothing to do with caste. They are words to do with connection and seperation of different properties. also have you made a mistake with MUJATI? should it have been SUJATI and MUJATI? Mujati connection or union is of 2 different properties which produce an outcome, whereby neither properties are of either use, such as water being mixed with oil, whereas Sujati connection or union is of 2 similiar properties producing no lesser effect of either involved, but an enhanced effect, such as water with water, and scents with scents. Where did you get these words from? from a spiritual source? I think that these words are used essentially for the types of sangat.
