  1. only 5 bhrava, dal singh never said he agrees with the notion that skin tone denotes social status/hierarchy. he merely stated that the fact that the guy in the vid made a comment regarding the skin tone, in a seemingly demeaning manner, made it seem that the guy thought that darker skin was a bad thing. dal singh obviously doesnt believe that himself. way to ruin a thread.
  2. start from this vid and go through youtube goin through this channel and related videos, flagging anti dasam granth vids as fraud/scam or hateful content Many of Dr Lamba's videos have been removed from youtube in similar fashion. If we get enough people to flag these videos we may be able to significantly injure their parchaar platform online, at least to younger audiences

  4. buddha dal sundar gutka has a dohra at the end, which isn't in your post. ive heard ucharans of it without the dohra as well, and i think i might have read it somewhere else without the dohra, so whats the word on that?
  5. I've heard again and again that wootz isn't made/prepared anymore, that the vidiya has been lost so I'm just curious as to what happened. are there any records of it being used or how it was made? when was it lost? why? whose stupid self went and lost it ( )?
  6. people are tired of the bullshit they have to deal with in regards to the traditional thug-like gurdwara committees. a lot of them run their show like an organized crime empire or something
  7. results will probably be out by earlyearly morning, or latelatelate tonight
  8. as i said b4, i didnt mean any intentional disrespect. knew it had something to do with a monkey form, and made a wild guess about it. my apologies for not having looked it up so i could be sure how the hell do i ask him about it? i was just suggesting that one of his students ask him, they have better access to him. wasn't throwing out a challenge or anything. u've confirmed yourself that the incident happened though, so all good
  9. i think that idea is from the tuk, inhi ko daan diyo bhalau not sure if it has been expanded on in any rehitnama though
  10. my bad about the bandar chaal statement, was seriously unsure of what it was called. that came across as a bit too crude of a guess, my apologies nirankari bani: i guess niddar was able to do away with the threat quick enough? or maybe the guy with the gun was scared to pull the trigger, plenty of other potential explanations has anyone asked niddar about it himself?
  11. i heard in an interview of niddar himself about the gun incident. he did his bandar chaal and disarmed the guy or something, but the incident is legit. lol u guys just ask him about it i'll try and find the interview
  12. I think back in the day, nihangs were a "valid" army, because they were much needed by the populace as protection from oppressive rulers. Today however, there are 'stable' 'democratic' governments in place, so people look to those more for protection and whatnot. As a result, nihangsingh way of life has been 'endangered' if you will, so they struggle today as a separate entity, protecting their own way of life more than anything (not saying that nihangs are not part of the panth, thats ridiculous, or that nihang singhs are helpless in terms of protecting the populace, but that that it is simply harder to do that. fauj does it where they can tho.) . However, that doesn't mean that the Dal is an obsolete or invalid fighting force. No doubt we'd be able to hold our own as a modern guerilla force if it came to that
  13. i believe ustad ji's ustad was ustad bahadur singh ustad ji is head of the Bhai Mardana Institute in Los Angeles

  16. yeah i did some very brief research, more like just some shuffling through the web, and didn't come across any of shah hussains actually writings in jaijaivantee, but did see quite a few renditions of his work IN the raag. might just be my poor 'research' though i have heard manymany times that nauve patsaah composed raag jaijaivantee
  17. jaijaivantee was created by Guru Tegh Bahadur ji
