Right here is a treat, a small discourse by Sri Maan Mahant Gyandev Singh Ji who are the head of the Nirmal Panchaitee Akhara. THis video is in two parts. Sri Mahant start their katha with the same mangalecharan, which i have not been able to find in the granths yet. it is in sanskrit about sri guru nanak dev ji. The recordings of the Paath Bodh Samagam are being cleaned by Sant Harnam Singh Ji and should be released before the end of the year. Gurmatveechar has got loads of other Dasam Granth Katha also

To be quite honest my knowledge of their background is limited. They are actually born in India in a Hindu family and background. But like many hindu's they were not accepted by their own community due to caste issues so he came to Sant Dalel Singh Ji Virakat Walae. They learned sanskrit and punjabi to gain vidya from the granths and are the gurbhai of Sant Davinder SIngh Ji Shahabpur Walae and Sant Sukha Singh Ji Karnal Walae. They have a small dera in Bandala Jalandhar where they only do katha and updesh. Apologise i cannot give you more then that. i have a few photos of them and will try to get them up as soon as possible

Is that the case in all of the Birs? I do not think anyone has done an extensive analysis on this granth like on the Sri Dasam Granth

No, idea, to be honest my knowledge of this granth is scant. I believe it to be the works of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji but the Bir which was in Leicester differed from the Steek alot.

From the puratan birs and the two part steek brought out by the Buddha Dal i have been told there is a lot missing and also a lot of additions which should not be in the steek!!! Maybe the Nihangs will know better wbout the Steek but Sampardai Mahapursh state the Steek has been changed alot and books by Giani Gian Singh and Pandit Tara Singh Narotam have quotes from the Sri Sarbloh Granth which cannot be found in the published Buddha Dal steeks

Swami Parmanand Ji is a nirmala who learned from Swami Akhandanand Giri. They are a great vedantist and world reknowned Sadhu. They have alot of shish mostly in places like the states and Russia. They later had alot of interaction with Sant Dalel Singh Ji Virakt and now are spending more and more time with Sikh Sadhus. Loads of their videos can be found on google video. Recently they have done katha on the whole of Salok Mahalla 9 which i am trying to slowly puting up. They are moving onto more katha of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. He tends to focus on Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji rather then other Sikhi Granths unless it is the Sri Jaap Sahib. Again i think on sikhawareness you will be able to find the links to their videos and website

I do not know how far he is correct. But Pinderpal singh has good knowledge and dug deep in history of sikhs. may be that is the areson of his stance on dasam bani." Bhai Pinderpal initially had a serious missionary mindset when he went to Dukh Nivaran Sahib in Ludhiana. Due to the narrow minded teachings he had recived he prached the linear version of sikhi to the public which led to the public turning on him and kicking him out. No one in the state of Ludhian allowed him to do katha. The finally he went to Jawaddi in Ludhiana and learned everything again feom Sant Sucha Singh Ji Jawaddi Kalan Walae and Sant Amir Singh Ji Jawaddi Kalan Walae. After learning from the Sants for a number years he started doing katha again at Jawaddi which finally resulted in him going back to Dukh Nivaran Sahib

Maybe you could take a rest now and call back Naastick Fouji with his tractor to take over for a bit!

Randip do you have selctive reading as well, have you not seen the insults from Guru Da Sikh to Sant Hari Singh Ji, Sampardai Taksals, Nirmalas, Udasis and myself for a start. If he has no respect for my viewpoint i will treat him with the same. I alwasy say expect to be treated as you treat others. For that reason i have treated him with the level of respect he has treated members on htis forum. Randip i do understand why you support him as your viewpoints on the Sri Dasam Granth and Sants is similar to his.
