Satguru jee, using three Gurbanis from Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee for amrit ceremony, is a clear indication that there is no difference between SSGGSJ and Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee.

Choice is simple:

Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee = SSGGSJ or Rejection of amrit ceremony?

so do you believe Jaap Sahib is inferior to Jap Ji? 

 Are you saying you openly go against Rehet? Not just one... but all of them??  The screenshot above is from DDTs Gurmat Rehet Maryada, but Sikh Rehet Maryada says the same, as does Guru Gobind Singh Ji's very OWN 52 Hukams... Jaap Sahib is not the full granth.  We don't matha tek to individual banis / shabads do we? It is the culmination of ALL of the knowledge contained within the SGGSJ that we are told to revere as Guru (not the physical pages etc and not individual banis).  It's the full compplete work which we revere and not only parts of it.  And only the full SGGSJ are we told to consider as Guru.  We can give individual banis respect and they definitely deserve it, but we can't revere them in the same light as SGGSJ. Meaning a granth containing just Japji Sahib would not be placed on a palki, etc. And that means we can't hold Dasam Granth in the same light as SGGSJ. So to answer your question... Japji Sahib and Jaap Sahib are both banis and as individual banis, both deserve equal respect. But as a whole SGGSJ is Guru, not Dasam Granth. Does that make sense?  Because I am sensing you are having trouble with the concept of separating individual banis vs the entire granth.  It's the CULMINATION of ALL of the knowledge in SGGSJ which makes it GURU.  And it's Guru Gobind Singh Ji who even tells us this revere only SGGSJ as Guru.  

Are you saying you go against all the rehet maryadas, AND Guru Ji's 52 hukams? I hope you aren't Amritdhari because you would be breaking rehet!

I know you won't do it as I said it earlier also, ask Guru Granth Jee Maharaj about your so called opinions and take hukamnama and share with forum what Guru Maharaj says, and now give us rest.

Okay, let's go from here. Are you saying that the baani of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji, either individually or in its entirety (I'll let you choose), is inferior in any way shape or form to that of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji?

Whilst no one is denying that Aad Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is our Guru (at least I hope no is), this does not mean that the Baani of the Tenth Master deserves any less respect.

As far as bowing down to individual baanis/shabads goes, you may choose not to, I would GLADLY.

You say individual baanis would not be put on a palki (e.g. Jap ji). What, then, would you say the the Mohan Pothis that Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji Maharaj bought to the Sri Harmandir Sahib in a palki? What would you say to the Fifth Master giving his own takht to Sri Aad Granth Sahib Ji (remember, Guru Granth Sahib Ji does not have the Gurgaddi yet), sitting on the floor with the rest of the sangat and bowing down to it? Is the Fifth Master, too, not bowing down to an "incomplete" Granth?

What are your views, then, on Sri Sarbloh Guru Granth Sahib Ji?

What are are your views on the Sixth and Tenth Gurus, when they elevated the shasters, done Chaur over them and BOWED to them?

There is a katha done by Giani Sher Singh Ji Nihang explaining the whole "not doing parkash of any Granth same level as Guru Sahib", in which he explains that people started to (wrongly) parkash Ramayan/Gita/Mahabharat along side Guru Sahib Ji, hence the introdction of this rule.

For the majority of us, it is quite simple:

So Guru Hargobinds four battles, Guru Har Rais skirmish were fought without bir ras?

There is no doubt that there is bir ras in SSGGSJ, but one cannot deny that Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee focuses more on war imagery, warrior spirit and female psyche (explicitly).

One cannot blame people like Satkirin and Mr.Singh. These people seem to be victims of false propaganda, of some idiots. These idiots, who talk ill about Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee, have caused so much confusion in the panth.

Hopefully, one day, the complete katha of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee, will become available online and erase all doubts.

Srimaan 108 Sant Gyani Amir Singh jee Maharaaj (Sato ki gali wale) and Srimaan 108 Sant Gyani Gurbachan Singh jee Khalsa Bhindrawale have completed the katha of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee in the past, but unfortunately, there are no recordings (for the complete katha).

Khalsa Katha from Sarbloh Granth - Giani Baba Inderjit Singh Ji

 

 

Below is a short audio clip of Giani Baba Inderjit Singh Ji explaining certain key passages from Sarbloh Granth Sahib Ji and Dasam Guru Granth Sahib Ji relating to the Khalsa. Giani Baba Inderjit Singh Ji starts off by going into the history of Devi Maa and how Guru Gobind Singh Ji as Dusht Daman helped and served Devi Maa Chandi leading Her to ask for service when Dusht Daman would take form as Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Kalyug. Mata Sahib Devan was noted as being the form as Devi Maa Chandi, a virgin mother, who the Khalsa considers their mother.

If someone really wants to know answers to these burning questions , why don't they do intense tapasya & find out about the truth themselves.I am totally in favor of analysis from historical perspective, that is also very important in this age. But there should be a spiritual way to find answers as well. What do you guys think ?

Edit:  Unless the questions are not genuine enough ? and you can sleep well with these questions in mind, and if such discussions are only for intellectual masturbation, then that is completely understandable

Paaiman, you still have not commented about the fact that your beloved Gurmat Rehet Maryada says Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is your highest authority, is Guru, and that you are NOT to bow to any other.  You are quick to pick and choose bits out of GRM that you like to suit your need and now that's apparent as you are blatently ignoring other parts of tha same RM!

Everyone else: Did Waheguru not give us brains with which to use our intellect? The danger of blindly following what some your Baba says without question, what if they are wrong?? Wouldn't it be a way larger injustice to impose writing on the Sikh panth that was not attributed to Guru Ji? Or to put it at the same level as Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji... going against Guru Gobind Singh Ji's OWN words - which was that we are to hold only SGGSJ as our Guru!

In the other forum on here, Sikh Khoj has presented valuable historical information that suggests that at the very least, not *all* of the contents in Dasam Granth are attributable to Guru Gobind Singh Ji.  NONE of us are opposed to 100% authentic banis from Guru Gobind Singh Ji!  It's the other works which we don't know if they are or are not.  There is evidence that they may have been commisioned by, but not written by Guru Ji.  Still, he passed gurgaddi to SGGSJ only and told us to only revere SGGSJ as Guru and that no other is equal or higher authority.  I think it's a huge injustice to put a granth which at least some of the content is disuputed, at the same level of SGGSJ, when it was Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself who told us not to do that!

All the Rehet Maryadas agree on this point as well!  Again, none of us are against the banis which are 100% attributable to Guru Gobind Singh Ji... it's the other works which are more questionable. 

Wouldn't you want to know the truth?  Or do you want to just blindly follow? What if it's eventually proven that much of the work in there was inserted later, and what if the evidence does point to DG banis not being used in the beginning for nitnem and amrit??  If it's proven then what will your stance be??  Are you scared of what historical study might find out so much that you are fretting at anyone who embarks on any historical study like Sikh Khoj in the other thread??

A possible theory:

It is not necessary that Guru Ji read every poetry by the court poets, the Guru had better things to do than to go through every single translation and work done by the Kavis. Furthermore, it is not like all poets were asked to embrace Sikhi, therefore their writings can have anti Sikh influences.

When we say commision we mean support financially right? In her view, why would the Guru patron something that is outright anti-women but not write it himself?

 

Its not an argument for or against the granth, i'm just trying to understand her view point.

Still waiting on Paapiman's response about the Gurmat Rehet Maryada... and how it's actually against GRM to bow to Dasam Granth or consider it equal to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.  He's usually the one who quotes 'Anti-Gurmat' this and 'Anti-Gurmat' that... but he's now suddenly become very quiet!

Just producing some charitars from this erotica(charitropakhyan), read it and decide if you can attribute these erotic stories to Guru Gobind Singh ji.

“sri triya raaj mati te nama ,naino naam jatt ki bama Sahar jahanbad base we ,darbwan doot maan rahe we Sauda karan tahi pathayo, ek rupaya haath diwayo Ek huto the thaan ko jogi, nangi kar nari tin bhogi” (charitar 45)

There was a female named raj mati, wife of jatt named naino. She lived in jahanbad and was known to be very beautiful and rich. Jatt send her to fetch something and gave her a rupee. There used to live a jogi, who stripped her naked and had sex with her.

Dohara “kazi ik Kashmir main taa ki istri ek Jantar mantar ar basikar janat huti anek”

There was a kazi in Kashmir who had a wife who knew lot of jantar, mantar.

Chaupai Adal Muhammd naam tavan pati , nyay shastar ke bich nipun ati Nuram bibi naar tavan ghar , jaa ke saath ramat niti att nar Tin ik jat bhaye rati thani , kachu kazi ki kaan na mani Hazrat aaye tabe lag gayo ,mitre baadh khaath tar layo”

Her husbands name was Adil Mohammad and was expert in imparting justice.She had a wife nuram bibi with whom lot of men used to make love. Then mohan came back to his house, urvashi then made a fake penis(vibrator) and tightened it on her genital with wax. She coated that vibrator with poison and got a boon from shiv that who so ever comes in contact with that vibrator ,yam should take his life(die).In the mean time the other woman came, she was so much overcome by lust that she could not find that urvashi is not a man and started having sex to her hearts content and died because of poison.

“bhej sahchari tahi bulayo nij sadan Kaam bhog te sang kariyo triya chhori mann Bhant bhant ke aasan laye sudhar ke Ho chumban lingan kiye mat kok bichari ke”(charitar 119)

She called prince to his palace by sending her friend. Then she had sex to the fill of her heart, and did it in different positions. Then took kisses and embraces consulting kok shastar.

This is not the end, in the same charitar the sex addict is telling how to remove hair from your body.Point to think is, Can Guru Gobind Singh ji tell us different ways of removing your hair who told us to keep kes.

“kesantak tin turat mangayo, leepi samas taa ki so laayo Tab sab kes door ho gaye, raj kumar triya se bhaye”

Then she put hair removing lotion on beard and moustache and all hairs were gone.

Now have a look at PUBLIC SEX in the same charitar in a crowded market:

“man bhavat ko bhog kamaye, din bazaar main kinoo na paaye Ashat kaharan ke kandh upper, jhange layi meet bhuj dupar Jo jo chali palki jaave, tyo preetam chatke chatkawe Lahe kahar palki char ke, to to gaye kandh drid kari ke”

They were having intercourse/sex as they want(in palki) and nobody could tell.In the palki being carried by 8 persons the lover had both hands and thighs on his shoulder.As the palki was moving so were the blows being given by the lover.As the kahars(palki carriers) listened noises of ‘choon choon’ they increased their grip on the palki.

What a description!! I don’t think anybody would like to read kamasutra after reading these erotic stories.

Now poet tells us what to do with women who comes out of veil (purda)

“panhi haath apne layi, adhik maar triya ko dayi Satar chhod aayi kyo chari, juttiyan so kamri kar dari”(charitar 121)

Took jutti(slipper) in his hand, and gave a solid beating that why she came out of veil.

Guru saab gave equal status to men and women and eradicated these social evils like purdah,sati, dowry which were prevalent in the society. But the poet , I think was not aware of this and so are the people who says that it is written by Guru Gobind Singh ji.Can any sane person say that Guru Gobind Singh will write that if a woman comes out of purdah then “maar maar ke kamli kar do”.

Now see who is the poet of this erotica

“jhoojh mari piye peer triye tanik naa moryo ang So kavi shyam puran bhyao tab hi katha prasang”(charitar 122)

They died in the battlefield, without showing their back in the love of their beloveds.Poet Shyam says that this story finishes here. It is clear that some Shyam has written this. Some people who are in love with this erotica or are working under the auspices of RSS and Hindutva agencies say that Guru Gobind Singh ji wrote under the pen name of Ram and Shyam. I am surprised!! How come they know that Guru Saab wrote under the pen name of Ram or Shyam? Its not a big deal, that tomorrow they may start saying that Guru Gobind Singh ji himself came and told them in their dreams that I used Ram and Shyam as pen name. One of the proponents of this erotic granth, Saadh Virsa Singh already had Darshan of Guru Saab in his childhood, rather he is also trying to portray that he is guru Gobind Singh through his followers. Sant Baba, Sant Samaj are hell bent on proving that this is the writing of Guru Gobind Singh ji. They truly follow this erotica that’s why they don’t want to get detached from this granth. No wonder one Baba ,Daljit Singh Chicagowala was caught doing practicals from this erotic-pakhyan in a motel. He was only following what is written in this, stupid Sikh Sangat ruined everything. Another Saadh Dhanwanta is in jail, these stupid law enforcement officials don’t know that he was doing what he learnt from this erotica. Recently this Sant Baba syndicate, in Virsa sambhal Sammelan passed a self styled resolution that Sikhs should not raise any questions about the authenticity of this granth, so that they can impart practical knowledge about it. Jathedar Vedanti is also known to be very fond of these writings, that’s why he always maintains silence on this issue.

Poet now tells how you can improve your sexual performance by taking various intoxicants:

“post bhang afim mangayi, ek sej par baith chadayi Jab mat so matware bhaye, tab hi sok bisar sab gaye Ek sej par baith kaloleh, ras ki katha rasik mil boleh Chumban aur aalingan karhi, bhant bhant ke bhogan bharhi”(charitar 291)

They took opium,marijuana,amphetamines while sitting on the same bed. When they got completely stoned by these intoxicants they forgot all their sorrows.(what a way to forget all your sorrows).While sitting on the same bed they started doing foreplay and vulgar talks.Kisses and embraces and intercourse in different postures.

“rani ki tahu so laagi, chute kaha anokhi jaagi Ik din tih so bhog kamayo, bhog kiya tim drid triya bhayo Bahu din bhog tavan sang kiya, aisupdes tavan keh diya Jo main kaho mitar so kijo, more kaho maan kar lijo Kahun ju mritak pariyo lakh paiyo, ta ko kat ling le aayo Tahi kupin bhikhe drid rakhyo, bhed doosre nare na bhakhyo”(charitar 271)

Rani fell in love(lust) with him.One day she had intercourse with him.He gave excellent performance so she developed a liking for him.She did intercourse with him for many days and told him to do as she tells him. If you find any dead body, then chop of its penis and put it in your underwear with care, and nobody should know about it.

What knowledge or brahmgyan is virsa singh and company getting from this shalok? I cant find any piece of wisdom in this. I am really surprised at those people who say that this is the composition of Guru Gobind Singh ji. I don’t even agree with those people who say that this is the composition of the poets in the Guru saab’s court. Did Guru saab used to hold erotic kavi samelan in his court? And used to listen to such sick compositions. Guru Saab’s court was open to anyone, there cant be two opinions about this. It means that this sex kavi sammelan used to be held in the presence of men,women and children. Any body who wants to give it a serious thought will not have any problem in determining if this is the composition of Guru Gobind Singh ji or Guru saab encouraged such type of compositions in his court.

Baba Gurbachan Singh jee Bhindrawale used to do katha of Sri Charitropakhian jee, but the only audience allowed were scholars and wise men.

That should answer the above concern

With all due respect Satkirin Ji but I'm still waiting for you to explain what you understood from the video of Baba Hari Singh Randhavewale. Where you created a storm and then disappeared. 

 

Don't try to pull one liners and quotes from DDT Maryada and take them out of context when we have the last threeJathedars of DDT,  Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, Sant Kartar singh ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, and sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale fully supporting and backing Sri Dasam Granth ji. 

 

It's not a one liner... it's a direct instruction to look at only Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as Guru and to not bow to or obey any other as Guru.  Tell me how that can possibly be taken out of context.
