Critical Points in a Day

Recommended Posts

Sangat jee - Please share critical points in a day, when you think that the vices/negative thoughts have a good chance to attack our minds.

  • When you have just woken up.
  • When you come back from work.
  • After eating food.
  • After having a conversation, involving any of the 5 Vikaars.
  • After watching TV.
  • After hearing a negative news.
  • In the Evening (near sun set).

Taking a cold shower or washing hands, arms, feet, legs, face, etc, with cold water might possibly help.

McLeod seems to thinks it means: "If a Gursikh has dealings with a non_sikh while he is away he should invite him to join him in prayer."

Maybe, but the end of that line seems ambiguous.

Maybe it means that if a Sikh has socialized with a non-Sikh, he/she should pray after that. What do you say?

Good point. Maybe. Makes more sense than McLeod's interpretation.
