It is heartening to see some recognition of the true 'owners' of the land Sikhs now inhabit by Sikhs. This is a very profound and meaningful gesture, unlike most of the usual sycophantic fudhooness apnay do in this quarter - like giving any gora politician/policeman who turns up at a Gurdwara a siropa or kirpaan 'gift'.

If certain rural farmer types amongst apnay can do this, I hope they can stretch their imaginations a bit and start showing appropriate respect to Mazhbhis back home too. I wouldn't hold my breath on it though......

I think this is historically significant. I'm proud of this. 

Let no land where the true Khalsa dwells secretly kill and bury innocent children, least of all just because of their race. Some people need to die for that shyte.

They do this every year for last couple of yrs. BC and Alberta university is place to be for learning about indigenous communities. There is alliance between Sikh choiltin brothers and first nation groups.
