They should be deported to a country with biggest monkey population which i just searched is brazil, so they can fight with monkeys as their dristhi is stuck at sub human level at bandar dristhi(vision) of fighting.

  10. That baba ji have some contradictory theological issues in explaining gurbani, it looks like instead of acknowledging that bhagti- devotion-sargun, shabad surat- shabad dhun were valid aspects of Vahiguru or stages in one's spiritual development-he was debunking them like no tom, inadvertently rejecting various aspects of gurbani in sri guru granth sahib ji, such as sargun/shabad surat by using nirgun- gyan aspect of nirankar in akaal ustat.

But are all voices included in the debates? (Credit: THE CANADIAN PRESS/Peter McCabe) Listen 16:53 MORE STORIES FROM THIS EPISODE Speaking up for unheard Muslim and ex-Muslim voices New Jesuit school is a bad idea, says indigenous education leader A debate over 'dangerous dog' bans Is the law too complicated? A call to write laws in plain English A 180 listener drives the speed limit so you will too FULL EPISODE The issue of Muslim identity has been all over the news lately. The Syrian refugee crisis and the recent terror attacks in Paris have provoked conversations about the nature of Islam and how it fits in secular democracies. During the 2015 federal election, columnists spilled gallons of ink pondering the niqab and what it represents. But Pakistani-Canadian blogger Eiynah says there is an important group left out of these conversations: Muslim and ex-Muslim women who see misogyny and oppression in Islam. She argues those critiques of Islam are ignored by the Canadian left, and hijacked by the Canadian right to further anti-Muslim narratives. Eiynah is a pseudonym. She has asked for anonymity because of the frequent threats she has received for her writing. The full interview is available in the audio player above. The following portions have been edited for clarity and length. It's a very nuanced point of view that you have, and you can see it in your own self-description: a "critic of Islam who loathes anti-Muslim bigots." Walk us through that. It's something that's hard for people to understand, because they automatically conflate criticism of an ideology sometimes with bigotry toward a people. And I think it's terms like Islamophobia that actually confuse the matter more. When I talk about anti-Muslim bigotry, I mean specifically generalizing large groups of diverse people. Muslims are a very diverse group, and Islam is an idea. Just like any other idea, it should be open for debate, up for critique. I don't think there is an issue with people criticizing Islam — there isn't one with people criticizing Christianity and any other religion, so why is there this unique term for Islam the religion? When you criticize misogyny and homophobia in Islam, how to people on the Canadian and American left typically respond to that? They're defensive, they deny, and then they lash out and accuse me of being a bigot. I'm a woman of Pakistani origin, and I've been called a white supremacist, an imperialist, a race betrayer, a textbook racist more times than I can tell you. Why do you think that is? Where does that reaction come from? I hope it comes from a good place, where people are trying to protect a minority that they feel is persecuted — and it is, in a lot of ways — but in doing so they trample on the rights of minorities within that minority, like women, like the LGBT, like apostates and ex-Muslims, atheists who are called terrorists and killed for disbelieving. But do you ever worry that when you critique Islam, you could inadvertently end up reinforcing someone's bigoted ideas about Muslim people? It does happen, but why should that be a reason for me to stay silent about my own oppression? It does happen. My work has been hijacked and published on right-wing websites without my permission. What I try to do is in each essay that I write, I will include a paragraph in detail about anti-Muslim bigotry and how it's a big issue and how I do not agree with these bigots. I try to proof it like that against them hijacking, but if they still take my work there's nothing I can do. I mean, then literally you can't talk about any oppression if you worry about this.... You can always feed into someone's bias, but that doesn't mean you should stop talking about victims of oppression. Click the blue button above to listen to the full interview.
  13. Thats not too bad but it would be more accepted in monarchy era where parties were fit and tough like ...I have no desire to see bunch of sissy pot belly singhs, obese bbw women fighting among each other - may be if they are like ronda rousey and fit mma fighters sure..lol Also thats monarchy era, cannot really do that in current times unless we have some framework conditions defined like mma, consent refraining from launching legal cases.
  14. Sorry not good at history, but how did they solved their dispute? It be interesting to know.
  15. Awesome simply awesome, you put it quite eloquently.
  16. Hakum (God's/Divine will) is very deep theme in Gurbani. In some places, in gurbani hakum is defined such as - Eko Naam hakum (chant on naam - shabad dhun/remember shabad gyan- simran or be that naam - pure consciousness aware itself) hai but some places hakum its not defined and left it as - Hakum rajaie chalna. Hakum cannot be fully understood conceptually but only in deep contemplation and or meditation. In absolute sense/reality, everything is hakum, everything which is happening/happened or will happen is also hakum (God/Divine will). However in relative sense/reality, Hakum is further fragmented to cater or help transcendent this jiv(being)- separated by ego by its own ego personal will which clouds its perception of hakum- Gods will. One of the ways to directly experience/percept God's will is out of our conditioned egoic mind box by creating bridge between mind and being consciousness. By being -connecting to our real self consciousness (Real us JOT saroop). Once we BE THAT, not conceptually but actually BE Consciousness (Gur-Chaitan saroop) only, hakum will spontaneously effortlessly appear in our meditative empty mind (pure consciousness) via direct pure perception (gyan parchand) insight and will be guiding force intuitively at each moment and step of that way- all the great attributes, spontaneous action , great speech, humility, direct action, pure action, righteous action, defensive reaction, great intelligence come directly from Hakum-Gods will/pure consciousness- Jot saroop and beautiful thing about it is knowingness intuitively and its originally unmodified/uncontaminated by personal will when personal will-ego is gone to sleep (thoughts/mind/sense perceptions) in meditation
  17. Even kids know how to act in the gurdwara than these people. I don't have no words to describe them. All they know white slave mentality, wait these so called tough ladies and so called self righteous bunch of singhs become scary cats when facing cops/judges, white man with authority - but sir, yes sir, no sir, but sir he started first. One of ways is to deal with tribal cultural non sense is have diverse crowd in the gurdwara in terms of sangat, they would never come out of their shell out of embarrassment, they have major inferiority complex when it comes to diverse crowd but with their own they show they are tough bunch.
  18. It's actually not hard for naam abhyasi singhs who are taking panj pyares di seva to make them available on the weekend- bi weekly - weekend for sangat. If christian community and its pastor/father can do it for his congregation, provide counselling, answer questions our community. I am not sure why can't we as community.
  19. Bro, thats the issue. We don't have that kind of expectation from them but we should if we look at it historically or lets even take example of langari- langari singh/singhani has full time role in gurdwara every day. I am not saying they should quit their jobs, at least they should step on panj pyares representation at least every weekend and do honary seva of original panj pyares which was of parchar lot wider than amrit sanchar- symbolic gesture in nagar kirtan etc.
  20. Yes normally don't see them around much. They should take initiative and do full time seva of panj pyares.
  21. Khalsa is pure sovereign independent body from all these committees conflict. So quite bluntly and with all due respect, where are actual singhs who do honorable panj pyares di seva? Sangat should demand answers from them, what is actually their role when it comes to solving this kinda of conflict? or their overall role and responsibility? Let them define it, ask them for framework. They should following foot steps of orginal panj pyares not take their roles lightly or part time position. Again, Are they only there for part time symbolic gestures in nagar kirtan and amrit sanchar? If thats case, its quite contrary to historical duties of original panj pyares. I strongly believe - most of issues will get resolved if singhs who do panj pyares di seva actual maintain full time seva/leadership role for their local communities not just go back to their normal duties as soon as they are done becoming symbolic gestures.
  22. Both parties influenced by society patriarchy and feminist model have to rise above from these model for their own sake, own soul- self realization or to be gurmukh to truly follow vows of anand karaj. Self realization is totally different way of being not confined to gender based society models...as soon as you identify with these models, you will start start boxing yourself into groupism or belief system then viola congratulations you managed yourself to start samasa - wheel of suffering machine once again and fall in right clutches of maya - deep illusion. Good luck unboxing/un digging the grave you made yourself. The problem is we carry so much unnecessary baggage with us its not necessary... it will have adverse affect on our spirituality as its hinders the truth. Unfortunate thing is people who are affected by these society models will never let their guard down and see truth as it is without lenses of both feminism and patriarchy model. Gurmat is middle way - truth as it is - not this or that.
