  1. So far, one of best kathas come through. Mahima of one eternal changeless Truth : Nam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnqONcQhtio.
  2. To your questions above, let us first ask or make it clear, what is Truth? In the beginning of Jap Jee Sahib, First Patshahee tells us very clearly, what is that Truth. He says: Sat Nam. Which means, the Nam is Sat, the Nam is that Primal eternal Truth. And without that One Nam, everything is false and perishable. Ekas bin sabh dandh hae. There are many instances in the Gurbani, where Guru Jee points out the way to that Truth. I have just found one gem from that vast spiritual wisdom in the Bani, which I would like to share here with the sangat. Dhan Dhan Sree Guru Arjun Dev tells us: har simran chhaad param gat chaahai. The mortal abandons meditative remembrance of the Lord, and then wishes for the state of supreme salvation He is telling us that, the highest goal of achieving Him, is through the path of His bhakti, per means of His simran alone, which the worldly jeevas avoid doing, for they prefer to do what they see others most doing, be it may strong manmat, rather to pay heed to the words of Guru Sahiban. Then also, they foolishly think and believe that they will still achieve Him. So to conclude answering your questions, it could be well said in short, Nam is the Truth, and His Simran is the way to that Truth. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  3. Das Jee, I just feel like congratulating you, for such fantastic, simple, yet fair and objective posts above. From my side I give you 10 out of 10 marks. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  4. Among the many paths, the Bhakti Marg, is the wisdom by which one realizes Him Below is an example, out of his numerous lovers
  5. Sandip Singh Jee, Gurmat will never induce us into diversity, the purpose of Guru Sahiban and Bhagat Jan, is only to serve us as being examples by themselves, in lovingly devoting ourselves, to the only one eternal reality, nothing more counts, no matter how much people may argue, or pretend to be knowledgeable in Gurbani by their interpretations.... Because the fact is, there is only one Truth, which is none other as First Patshahee says in the very beginning of SGGS: Ik Oankar Satnam. Satnam, is the reality, towards which Guru Sahiban wants to draw our attention, but we are so corrupt minded, that in spite of what They say, we tend to go towards mayavee variety of forms, colors, sizes, genders, etc On the other side, just see how beautifully Sree Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj tells us in just the following one verse, what is only to be worshiped: ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਵਿਣੁ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਲਾਹਾ ਹੇ ॥੨॥ Gur Poorae Vin Mukath N Hoee Sach Naam Jap Laahaa Hae ||2|| Without the Perfect Guru, no one is liberated. Chanting the True Name, one profits( means union with Him). ||2|| Regarding gods, goddesses in Gurbani, see what First Patshahee tells us about them in the following two verses: ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ॥ Gur Kee Bhagath Karehi Kiaa Praanee || O mortal being, what devotional worship have you performed to the Guru? ਬ੍ਰਹਮੈ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿ ਮਹੇਸਿ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ Brehamai Eindhr Mehaes N Jaanee || Even Brahma, Indra and Shiva do not know it. He says, the true devotion is by following what Guru Sahiban tell us to worship, which is Nam/Satnam/Shabad, about which even the gods do not know, so what to say about the shiv lingam or any murtee, which are made from the 5 perishable tattwas ... Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  6. In Sach Khand the true eternal imperishable abode, only He exists. Whatever and wherever any creation exists apart from it, there has to be Mind, Maya, and Kaal, otherwise there is no creation at any level. It is true, those wadbhagee souls who merged their soul consciousness in Wahiguru Akal Purukh, do never come back again. Anyhow, It is all His "Mauj", nobody can question Him, neither at our present level ever understand it, even if explained to us. Sat Sree Akal.
  7. Shivam Kumar, we must bear in mind, we all souls have our origin from Him, we are all same in essence, it is due to our individual association with the mind which makes it look like diversity. Everything was created out of Him, nothing exists which is not Him. I do believe as per Gurbani, there was a time when nothing existed, He was deeply absorbed in Himself, in His Shabad Dhun swaroop/Satnam; then He wished to create, and creation came into existence. You see when Parlay or Mahaparlay take place, all souls have no option but to return and merge in Him. Though, all these talks are big pictures for our petty minds, but that much can be said, why wait for Him and see when He decides to finish His play, why stay and prolong ourselves in the valley of pain and tears of Maya and Kal, if we want, we can seek His Kirpa, His Daya Meher, hold on to His Nam, Satnam, and reach His eternal abode. Dhan Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj, clearly tells us in the following just three verses, the secret of achieving our union with Him : Prabh Kai Simaran Kaal Pareharai || Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  8. Gurbani can never ever have any contradictions, if ever any appear to exist, they are due to our manmukhta and rust of agyanta on our bibek. Gurbani is perfect from all angles, for it is the very expression of Wahiguru at our human level. Sat Sree Akal.
  9. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY ▪ Religion is not just one, there are hundreds. ▪ Spirituality is one. ▪ Religion is for those who sleep. ▪ Spirituality is for those who are awake. ▪ Religion is for those who need someone to tell them what to do and want to be guided. ▪ Spirituality is for those who pay attention to their inner voice. ▪ Religion has a set of dogmatic rules. ▪ Spirituality invites us to reason about everything, to question everything. ▪ Religion threatens and frightens. ▪ Spirituality gives inner peace. ▪ Religion speaks of sin and guilt. ▪ Spirituality says, "learn from error". ▪ Religion represses everything and in some cases it is false. ▪ Spirituality transcends everything, it brings you closer to your truth! ▪ Religion speaks of a God; It is not God. ▪ Spirituality is everything and, therefore, it is in God. ▪ Religion invents. ▪Spirituality finds. ▪ Religion does not tolerate any question. ▪Spirituality questions everything. ▪ Religion is human, it is an organization with men's rules. ▪ Spirituality is Divine, without human rules. ▪ Religion is the cause of divisions. ▪Spirituality unites. ▪ Religion is looking for you to believe. ▪ Spirituality you have to look for it to believe. ▪ Religion follows the precepts of a sacred book. ▪ Spirituality seeks the sacred in all books. ▪ Religion feeds on fear. ▪ Spirituality feeds on trust and faith. ▪ Religion lives in thought. ▪ Spirituality lives in Consciousness. ▪ Religion deals with doing. ▪ Spirituality has to do with the Self. ▪ Religion feeds the ego. ▪ Spirituality drives to transcend. ▪ Religion makes us renounce the world to follow a God. ▪ Spirituality makes us live in God, without renouncing us. ▪ Religion is a cult. ▪ Spirituality is meditation. ▪ Religion fills us with dreams of glory in paradise. ▪ Spirituality makes us live the glory and paradise here and now. ▪ Religion lives in the past and in the future. ▪ Spirituality lives in the present. ▪ Religion creates cloisters in our memory. ▪ Spirituality liberates our Consciousness. ▪ Religion makes us believe in eternal life. ▪ Spirituality makes us aware of Eternal Life. ▪ Religion promises life after death. ▪ Spirituality is to find God within during life and death. -We are not human beings who go through a spiritual experience.- -We are spiritual beings that we go through a human experience.- Keeping the above points in mind, it can be well said: Sikhee´s purpose is to make us conscious spiritually wise. Sat Sree Akal.
  10. A verse from Guru Jee, on the topic of the present thread. ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਲਾਹਾ ਅਗਲਾ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹਰਿ ਮਨ ਮਾਹ ॥੪॥੨੩॥ Har Jap Laahaa Agalaa Nirabho Har Man Maah ||4||23|| Those who chant the Name of the Lord earn great profits; the Fearless Lord abides within their minds. ||4||23|| Raag Sri Raag Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj
  11. This is verily a universal Truth. But how do we get that bibek? That Brahmgyan? For as the Bani says: ekas bin sabh dandh hae. This means apart from Him, no gyan is True gyan, thus ever possibly had. So in order to get that real gyan, we have to go to the source of that true gyan and bliss, which is none other than He, Wahiguru Himself. And, then how can we reach Him? Is it by pilgrimages, recitations, fastings, jap, tap, poojas, paath, or any other outer actions/karam/deeds? Gurbani for that purpose gives us the solution beyond the reach of any mind, it says: jin Har japeeya, se Har hoeeya. Forget any gyan sikh brothers/sisters, rather Guru Jee says, if we follow His instructions of that highest bhakti, we become Him. What else is then left to be achieved? Nothing. Our braham has been broken into pieces, for we have become Brahmgyani, by merging our surtees in Him. That is the beant wadeeayee of Gurbani. Sat Sree Akal.
  12. Indeed a beautiful thread. kahai naanak tah sukh ho-aa tit ghar anhad vaajay. ||5|| Says Nanak, happiness takes place there where when the unstruck sound current vibrates within their homes. Dhan Dhan Satguru Amar Das Maharaj, clearly and in simple words, beautifully tells us, that true happiness or anand, is found when one leaves koorr behind and attaches one´s chit, to the Lotus Feet of Akal Purukh, the Supreme eternal Truth, embodiment and source of true bliss, through His Simran, and above all His kirpa, not otherwise. So what is it, that makes us reach that state of anand, which Guru Jee describes in His verse above? It is when we hear the reverberating of the Anhad Shabad, in the form of unstruck sound current within us. Sat Sree Akal.
  13. Having God in mind, means, to be focused on Him at all times as much as possible. One may ask how can that be possible? Well, we can easily have Him, through His chintan, His simran. By putting into action this jugtee, we stop the mind from wandering out constantly. The thing is, we have to get filled more with Him, than the worldly maya. And this is only possible, by aiding, by putting within us the most precious wealth/dhan, and that is the one of His Nam simran. There is no other way to lessen maya or koor within us, except the one of His Nam, Wahiguru. For only His power, can overpower, subdue and defeat man, maya and kal. Our reality as spiritual beings/souls, is the nature of us being particles of the Infinite Ocean of Shabad, and thus, to merge in Him, is our sole goal in human life. Just as in Anand Sahib, we have heard and read many a times, Nam jiskay man vaseeya, vajeh Shabd ganere. Which means, in the minds of those where Nam is established firmly, through His Simran, we start being/getting aware of our True nature as His souls, and as the more we dedicate ourselves in the devotion of Nam Simran as pointed out thoroughly SGGS, we start getting purified from all our impurities, karmas, vasnas, man, moh, vikars, only then we gain that much purity by His Grace at all times, that only and only then we are fit to merge and become one with Him. That is His Beant wadeeayee, of letting us being engaged in the devotion of His Lotus Feet. So finally, how did all this happen? Well it all started, by having him in our mind, through His Simran. Har simran meh Prabh Aap Nirankara. Sat Sree Akal.
  14. The word Hukum, has a different perception from our human level, to the one that of Akal Purukh. At our level it generally means orders, but from His level, it would be more like, His wish, His Mauj. For like just an emperor, has no need to order, He just wishes, and everybody, everything is ready to fulfill that his wish, so what to say about Sachay Patshah, Wahiguru Akal Purukh´s "Hukum". He is the only existing Reality and Truth, so as if one is alone, and gets an idea to do something, there is nobody,no one to oppose that idea, thus no need to order anything to anybody, He wished, and so it happened. In an other context, it also means Laws of Nature, but again, those very Laws of Nature, also act upon His will, His Mauj or say it His Hukum, Ultimately there is no difference, we can also say He Himself, is the embodiment of His Hukum. Sat Sree Akal.
  15. Brother MysticMonist, on one of your questions about the soul and the Lord, following is a beautiful verse from our First Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj(His Majesty), where He clearly describes out what happens when the soul gets cleansed of all its impurities due to its association with the mind, ultimately it also gets released from the mind´s clutches, then only does the merging in Him takes place, with the aid and guidance of Naam or Word at all times: ਸੁਭਰ ਸਰਵਰਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਧੋਵੈ ॥ Subhar Saravar Mail N Dhhovai || Bathing in the over-flowing tank of nectar, filth is washed away. Raag Asa Guru Nanak Dev *Here the over flowing tank of Amrit or tank, means that the Naam, the Shabad, the Word, is resounding at all times within us, he whosoever is blessed enough to listen to it within, means, it is like bating in that tank of Eternal Life giver, gets cleansed of all its sins/impurites. Then in this next verse, Guru Jee tells us what happens, when one is blessed by Him and acts accordingly. ਜੈ ਸਿਉ ਰਾਤਾ ਤੈਸੋ ਹੋਵੈ ॥ Jai Sio Raathaa Thaiso Hovai || We become like the One with whom we are imbued. * Guru Jee says, by associating ourselves with that One Primal Reality, through meditating devotion, one becomes one, with that One, o whom one meditates upon, and gets hold of the Divine melody of Shabad within, not otherwise. You see, in Gurbani, we only find facilities, and direct instructions, to become one with Him, this is the goal of sikhee, if only followed faithfully, thus its unique indescribable beauty and universal truth, to be most benefited from. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  16. Very simple Chote Daas Jee, to conquer these tats, as well as any other obstacles, be them of any type/nature between us and Him, including maya, man or even Kal Purukh, just do the simran of His Naam, Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Prabh Ka Simran, garb na baseh. This one verse of just 6 words of Guru Jee, by itself, is the essence of Gurmat or any spirituality. The wisdom of Guru Jee is the only True gyan, which can make us rise, from the level of Brahm, of maya, to His level of Consciousness, Paarbraham, Paree Puran Parmatma, Wahiguru Akal Purukh.. Sat Sree Akal.
  17. After death we go where our karam takes us. And usually, it is very much in the chaurasee ka chakar, the wheel of 84, endless cycle of births and deaths, be it any subhuman lower specie joones, or at most Swarg or Baikunth. Anyhow, surely in the realms of Maya. Other thing is, if we have been faithful in devotion to Wahiguru Akal Purukh, according to the precise instructions from the SGGS, only then, having become pure enough to merge and become one with Wahiguru. Surprisingly, though born and brewed in Sikh dharam, many are entangled in outer karam. Though Guru Jee clearly tells us in the Bani, that, bathing at so called 68 places of pilgrimages, is not comparable to Prabh ka Simran, nor any other outer action. For it is the mind which has to be rubbed and polished of its sins, not the body. And to rub the mind to make it mindless, can only be possible by His Nam Simran, not otherwise. We should all read Sukhmani Sahib, with focused attention, on each word in each verse, and see how and what Guru Jee is telling us to do as per means of devotion, if we really want to be out of the cycle of births and deaths, and to become fully receptive to His kirpa, in order to merge in Him. Sat Sree Akal.
  18. Surely why not? If it is His kirpa, I would ask Him to bless me, so that I can keep my mind at His Lotus Feet, through His bhakti, by : Saas saas simroh Gobind. Sat Sree Akal.
  19. Hi Brother MysticMonist, I have divided your above post, in 6 main questions which you ask me, in order to answer you at the best of my ability. 1) Nature of the souls, according to Sikhee, is that the essence of the soul and Lord Wahiguru is the same, for if it was not so, the Bani would not say: Jin har japeeya, se har hoeeya. Which means, whosoever, meditates on Him, becomes one with Him. You see, the beauty and excellence of the teachings of the Gurus in the Gurbani, is that, it is a very clear, transparent, a simple language, and direct to the point. Many a times in a single verse, we can see the spirituality summarized in it, without the need of huge text volumes of mental interpretaions. There is a beautiful verse from Gurbani which says: Sach Khand vasay Nirankar. Which means, in the region of Sach Khand, the region of ultimate Truth, resides only the formless Lord. So logically, if the soul drop, reaches in that plane of Consciousness, it has to be of the same nature as Him, otherwise it can not merge and become one with Him. 2) When you say : Bahai's talk about being enraptured by God with no thoughts of anything but Him. It is the same as, when one meditates on Him with focused attention. The thing is, we have to totally loose our Iness, only then, does He exist. For when we are, He is not, and when He is, we are not. So meditation, prem bhakti, are the means to dissolve that our ego, our petty individual identity, with which we are so much attached, and we take it as a reality, that is why we are so weak, in our love, in our devotion to Him. 3-4) Yes, as said above, our soul is of the same essence of God, but due to our strong association with the mind, we are unable to realize Him within. That is why, our Gurus, the Bhagat Jan, Gurmukhs, Gursikhs, come at our level, in order to remind of our true spiritual nature, and to tell us that all our miseries are due of being separated from our True heavenly Father, call it Wahiguru, God, Nam or Shabad. Some mystics, have beautifully explained that, souls are like rays emanating from the Sun at the early hours of the day, and when night approaches, they merge back into the Sun, thus becoming one with the Sun. Now tell me, once a ray merges into the Sun, can anyone, go and trace that particular ray? in a similar way, once a soul merges into the Father, there is no distinction at all. For example you pour a drop of water into the Mighty Ocean, can anyone trace it? 5-6) Brother, the reality of Jesus, was not his physical body, but the Light of Nam or Word, that level of pure Consciousness, manifested in that particular body, which is the True power, which was Christ the Savior. He clearly said: I and the Father are One, he who has seeth me, has seen the Father. Now, after 2000 years, if we do not see Christ, does that mean, we can not see the Father, and we are condemned forever? Of course not, forJesus is not the body, but rather, it is that Light/Jot, of Nam, Word, Logos, or Shabad, which one sees within, when one meditates on Him, for the Light/Jot of God, is always the same for ever and ever throughout the ages. Just like our Guru Sahiban, right from Guru Nanak Dev. In Gurbani we also come to see something similar, when the Guru says: mat koee bharam bhoolay sansaar, bin Satgur, koee na utras paar. Which means, let no one remain in delusion, without a Satguru, a True genuine guru, no one can cross the creation and reach the other side, means from here our physical level, to that one, where He resides, in Sach Khand, the region of ultimate Truth. We people, limited beings, tend to take things literally, because of that our limitations, we see the coverings, we see the boxes containers(bodies, sizes, shapes, colors), but not the contents(soul/light), thus our feelings of hatred for others, other races, other religions, and also our inflated ego. For if we could only see Him, in all and everywhere, just as His devotees and lovers do, all the conflicts, disputes, wars, tyranny, would come to an end. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  20. Welcome MysticMonist, the word religion comes from the Latin word religare, which means, that which reunites with its origin. So, from worldly point of view, there maybe many religions, but if we all agree, there is only one Supreme everlasting changeless Truth, throughout the eras, naturally the path leading to that One reality, has to be one, it can be different for different people, or different races, civilizations.... If the Sun is One, the rays which come out, have to be same, in brightness, intensity, and warmth. Unless of course, some have different sunglasses, so they see different shades of lights. But even then, the light of each ray is the same. At our worldly physical level, we may reach a particular place, by road, plane or ship, and by different means, such as walking, bicycle, car, helicopter, airplane, ship, etc. But there where He exists, there is only one way, whosoever it may be. Because, races, creeds, nationalities, genders, may differ, but the essence of Truth in all of them, the soul, is the same undoubtedly. Other thing is, we are limited, though we see the outer dresses(skin colors), but not that spark of essence of the Supreme Truth(Lord). Thus, under thick dark layers of ignorance. And under the deep engraved impressions of ignorance, the fools, the stupids, devilishly, fight and kill, in the name of religions, committing atrocities on other human beings. Christianism, calls and knows that Supreme Truth as the Word, and in Sikhee we know it as Nam or Shabad, muslims call it Kun, chinese call it Tao. The Bible says: in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word is God. So does Sree Guru Granth Sahib, tell us from its very beginning: Ik Oankar Sat Nam. There is only One creator Lord, which is Nam, and that Nam is Sat, means, changeless, eternal, everlasting Truth throughout the eras. In the continuation of the above first verse, our beloved Guru Sahiban, have majestically described the nature, the qualities and virtues of that Supreme Being, it is worth reading again and again.... such is the beauty, and unparalleled greatness of that Primal Being. Well continuing with the topic of this thread about religions, and as I explained what really religion means a few moments back, Guru Jee, beautifully and in a very clear and precise language tells us : Nanak Nam jahaz hae, jin chareeya se utareeya paar. Which means: O Nanak, he whosoever boards the vessel of Nam, reaches the shore across( our True Home, beyond the perishable and transitory creation, including the planes of creation where gods, goddesses, fairies, angels, demigods, and other spiritual entities reside). And when with the means of Nam, we reach our true Home, we do not remain there as individual limited beings, for quite far behind, we already left our minds, thus as pure spirits, as pure souls, we merge in the Infinite unimaginable Ocean of, Truth, Consciousness, Bliss. Such is the unlimited grace of that Supreme Being, Sat Nam, by which the tiny little river merges in the Infinite Ocean, and becoming thus one, with that Mighty Infinite Ocean. So as it is only by Nam, that one can reach Him, thus we can perfectly call that Nam, the universal path or religion, for any being, from any culture, caste, color or creed. Once having understood the teachings of our Guru Sahiban, there is no place for hatred, jealousy or enmity, towards anyone, for in all, the Light of that Supreme Being Sat Nam, shines in equal measure. This is in essence Sikhee, but in reality far more beautiful, full of Truth, of purity, and excellence, which words can only poorly describe. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  21. Brother Shivam, Naam, is within each and every jeeva, irrespective of any dharam, caste, color, creed, age, or gender, or be it a mahapurukh, or a theif, dacoit or a non believer, it is within each and everyone of us. Nam is the highest level of consciousness, with countless virtues, can be summarized in as we all know: Sach/Truth- Chit/Pure Consciousness - Anand/Bliss it is not that it is only within sikhs, or hindus, and not in muslims, christians, buddhists, ...etc, for Nam is the Origin, the Creator of everything. Guru Jee, in the beginning of the Mool Mantar clearly says: Ik Oankar, Sat-Nam. He says: there is only One Lord Creator, which is Nam, and that Nam is sat/sach, which means, it is the only eternal everlasting Truth. That is why Guru Jee called it Sat-Nam. Moreover the Bani referring to that Nam, tells us : Aad Sach, jugaad Sach, hae bhee Sach, Nanak hosee bhee sach. This Nam, is also referred in the Bani as: Shabad, Sachee Bani, Dhur kee Bani, Amrit, Amrit Bani, Anahad Bani....etc. The thing is many of us, take Nam literally as a mantar, a word or something utter able, be it in any language. But let us ask ourselves, if Nam was a word, a phrase, or a couplet of words, that would not be possible, because how can a word or a handful of words create the infinite creation? Moreover, in what language? For when He exists alone by Himself, since the very beginning, who was there to address Him, or call Him? With which mouth, or in which language? He, can be described as an Infinite Ocean of Light and Shabad or Dhun. So if in a manner, if the sun has no caste or creed, what caste or creed can a mamulee jeeva atma, a ray of that Light, have? If an ocean has no caste or creed, what caste or creed can a mamulee drop of that ocean have? it is by braham, we say we are this, or that one is so, or so. And due to that braham, fools blinded by the agyanta, and under hatred, ahankar, and ego, fight and kill in the name of dharam/religion. That also, when in the Bani, referring to that primal force as Jot/Light, Guru Jee clearly says : Sabh meh Jot, Jot hae soee. That Nam is Jot, and that very Jot is within every being, as a ray of that Jot. There can be many words, in many languages, to describe that One Truth, but all aim to that ultimate reality. Christians call it Word or Logos, muslims call it Kun, chinese call it Tao, etc Now, what you call Naam Daan, it is not that, Naam is given to anybody, because as said before, Nam is within everybody already, without it we can not even exist for a second. When He infuses that ray of Nam within anybody, that being becomes conscious being/living being, be it in any joonee. And when He withdraws, that ray of Nam, we cease to exist, and parlays, and mahaparlays take place, and the creation at all levels also comes to an end, until once again, He, Wahiguru Akal Purukh, out of His Mauj, wants to create again. So you see, what you refer as Naam daan, I would say, is a technique, a jugtee, to make pargat that Nam within us, which already exists, but of which due to the filth of our karmas, vices, man, maya, sanskaras, senses, we are unable to perceive that reality of Nam. So brother, if the path of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, tells you to wait until you are 25, then try to read more literature, read the Bani, in order to understand and convince yourself, what is right for you, do not rush into anything. The path is already within also, and if you are to tread that path, or any other, do not worry, nobody can ever push you away, nor pull you along, for your destiny is only yours, it is a matter of time only. For the mean time, as brother das has written in his post, keep an eye on your karam, in order to stay clean, and do seva as he has suggested also. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.
  22. Practically there is no way to become celibate. it is only by His kirpa, that one can overcome not only kaam, but also conquer the rest of the 5 chor. As the Bani beautiifully tells us in few words: Sarab rog ka aukhad Naam. Meditate on His Name, and you shall get rid of all your maladies. At some other place, Bani also tells us : Prabh ka Simran, man kee mael jaae. Kaam is dirt on the mind, which can only be removed with the water of meditation and the soap of His Name. Sat Sree Akal.
  23. First of all, sorry, my post did not make you dry, it was your perspective, which made you so. Agree, we are to learn and be humble also, ahankar and krodh do no good to anybody. Secondly, why can not I start and continue as i did? With what authority/rigtheousness do you ask so? it is only your difference of opinion; and that does not make me wrong nor you right, so be open, there are many ways to reach some point, as long there is no malice, and for sure, my statement above hadn,t any, nor any distortion I was just telling him, that no temple becomes a temple just like that, no matter how many millions believe it to be so. On the other hand, if Guru Jee went there or any other place, that place automatically became sanctified with His presence, so, He is important. That is it. Sat Sree Akal.
  24. There is nothing wrong in him asking. Of course I am helping him with his question. The thing is, why are you so dry? I have been respectful and polite, calling him brother. But, have you gone thru my whole answer above? I can also tell you, if you have not followed my point, then ask, and do not not command. I am mature enough to know what to do. You need not tell me this. I just do not understand why so much of thin skin? Cool down, no need to be so protective. Respect, kindness and politeness cost nothing.
