Gur fateh Raagmaala VeerJi! Yes I understand! Hope Maharaj always save us from getting involved in maya/illusion.All we can do ardaas . Once,we get accepted as a child,then all is his mauj.Hope I/we make all possible ways for this acceptance. And yes sometime it seems to be very blurry to us ,but supreme's vision is out of our perimeter. That's why Guru sahib says: Jan Nanak eh khel kathhan hai kinhoo Gurmukh jaana|| Dhan Guru Maharaj hi baksh lain! "Daas tere ki benti Riddh kar pargaas||"

Actually,I've never read charitro pakhyan.nor do I know about it.May be I had read or listened some part of it in kirtan or gurudwara ,but not sure what it constitutes. So,I'll better like to read it first and then give me inputs. And secondly,as it's the writing of dasam patsah so there must be a deep meaning/message behind that.I think problem is not there(O god! We cant use such words about any gurbani shabad ) ,problem is with its understanding.I think some people are misunderstanding it!

When sikhs were protesting then police men were there to shoot them and did killed two of them but where were they when Maharaj's saroop was being stolen and after seeing that unexpected beadbi?? I dont think if they are as bad as meat or egg farms .In india ,Dairy farms are like homes of Farm men especially in Punjab.There cows and buffaloes are provided with all adequate and nutritious diet and are cared with all possible measures.What kinda cruelity you are talking about? I've seen people loving their cattles and taking care of them as their babies.

I think you(paapiman veerji) are trying to make others to believe/read what you blindly understand! See!! Gurbani is NEVERRRRR contradicting! In Gurbani,it's pronounced as Jeev istri/female soul/"she" at many times ,so does it mean that it's valid only for females ? No! There is a central message in each tuk! Same here! Tuks you've provided or discussed go in same ways. Taking human incarnation into consideration,there Word " Husband" has been used. And you know there were no any person's personal views in any gurbani tuk,that's totally divine/straight from cosmic sounds of sachkhand.So in GENERAL ,husband word is used at most places.It does not mean that word "WIFE" doesnt exsist at all.It means opposite partner of a particular one.Try to get the core idea! First of all, husband word is only for WAHEGURU/SUPREME OF ALL MIGHTIES/OUR ONLY PARTNER HERE AND AFTER! AND JUST LET if that's been used for reference of physical husband(of marriage lol),then there that indicates husband for a female and wife for a male.So that goes both sides! Kaho Nanak jin preyo parmeshar kar janeya Dhan Satee Dargeh parwaneya|| Here gurbani states to see our true husband(who is none other than our true satguru) as GOD as parbraham! Then she is the true satee who shall be saved at this hands ! Here it goes to both males and females.Both are ought to accept our husband/satpursh/satguru as almighty/greatest of all/GOD. Okay!! Let if we take it in terms of physical husband as constituent of marriage,then Here meaning comes out as No one(whether male or female) can be a satee by burning herself/himself in fire ,only those can be called who have served their husbands(for females) /wives(for males) as God.As God means greatest mighty /supreme of alk,in same manner here GOd word indicates that highest position in this physical life of physical world.So Gurbani says"when we talk about this physical world(just excluding that spiritual concept of only waheguru) then here one person is ordered to see his/her spouse to be greater than anyone else in his/her life.That's just a general message for entire manhood. So for a female only his husband deserves that special place as they are physically one now and vice versa! So here That's not only for a man or woman!,That's for a human soul being in a body !

And sant ji said"jhriya mayiaa shri sukhmani sahib da paath manukha dehi vaaste krdiya ney oh dubaara manukha dehi praapat krdiya,beant purkha di prapat krdiaa.te jo kuj nhi oh muktt ho jaandia". See!ohna de kehn da matlab hai J koi aurat dubaara manukha janam ch aouna choundi h ,J ohdi ishha h ta j oh chahe ta oh pursh ban skdia ne Means If one woman wants to reborn again as male human ,the her this wish can be granted by sukhmani sahib. He didnt say that females are not human or only males are humans .please other members give your inputs as I really want to clear it!

Veer ji, there might be a word in Sanskrit but what manukhi deh means to you? I think manukhi deh = human body So I think Men,Women,Trangenders,physically abnormal ones all are humans.. So dont twist any Gurbani TUk! Bhayii praapat manukh dehureya Gobind milan ki eh teri baariya Here Guru sahib clearly says to every human irrespective of any caste,creed,gender,religion or colour that you've got this human body and it's nothing other than a chance to meet your satpurkh/akal purkh/lord/almighty..

sounds good! I really admire you for your strength and mental attitude.A big Bravo for that! But I feel spiritual strength is my basic requirement at the moment.And the busy time schedule nd poor health issues doesnt allow this these days.Hope if Maharaj himself arranges something like that in future. All happens in his command.Lets see what he plans next! Sorry I can't answer or share my views for above.I just know Gurus were Males and there should have been a reason behind that..I respect that! *oops* Okay! No Things are not like this in Sikhism! I'm sure other members too dont think so.I think it's just a misunderstanding. and about husband -wife relations ,I think you should read english translation of Anand karaj for that.. And A Wife must respect her husband for obvious reasons and a husband must also do so.And a good wife and husband will never deny to do so. And penji though women have started working/learning martial skills or things like that,but still some women are not able to face some situations alone.I mean Take example of myself.I'm not physically strong enough.Lol! So I think it's just a great ritual to hold husband's palla as husband is promising his wife to take care of her in all possible situations.Though we are holding Guru Sahib's palla to carry us across this world ocean,but still we are living in a society,we are living in a physical world.So there husband is promising(as he is gifted with all physical traits from almighty),so I think it's a beautiful act.Isn't it?? So ,Respecting Husband doesnt signify inferiority or superiority. It just simply signifies respect /true respect for being her security man.And Respecting Wife signifies respect for all her contributions.So same goes on both sides. And All Guru were males not because females are inferior.It's because some situations/some conditions /some reasons do not support a female being a preacher,being a Guru,Being a leader.You know some things are out of our approach/our understanding.So,I think it's okay for women to do Naam kamai/to be bhagats/to lead life of a sant/but what we called Guruship means taking command of something in own's hand has not seen in past so far.Imagine Guru Teg bahadur Ji were there to give his head when needed.He simply agreed to accept the punishment.Imagine(stopping my filthy tongue inside),If there was a female Guru and then ???????..anything could happen!Dhan Guru Sahib Baksh lo! And It has been already discussed about women's purity.Guru Nanak Dev Ji maharaj has cleared everything.So Nothing like this in sikhism.

Gur fateh Satkirin penji! I think you need to change your views.Please dont think like that!! Please!! Sikhi is not how you are taking.I assure you that there is 100% equality on any basis in Sikhism.I'm too a Sikh girl.And I've never felt or experienced any kind of discrimination based on my gender whether in family(as all are sikhs),whether in any gurudwara sahib,whether among sikh sangat or any sikh community or here on sikh forum. You know it's a psychological effect that as whatever we think,whatever we believe in or whatever we strongly support, becomes our imagination and this leads us to take things in the way we think.So,If I too start thinking like you that yes there is discrimination ,I'm a girl ,I 'm this I'm that,other men think so,so naturally and obviously Everything will seem behaving so.You know force of attraction/law of attraction.whatever we think/whatever we attract then that will attract you too.So I think it's just your own imagination or thoughts which are forcing to take the things in this way. And No There is NO discrimination in Sikhism.I assure you this! This is really so embarrasing for whole panth to read"there is discrimination on basis of gender in sikhism".WTH!! We are SIKHS NOT MUSLIMS!! And I request opposite party here that please try to understand satkirin ji,as we should try to remover her doubt .She is just a victim of bigg misunderstanding and it's our duty/responsibility to correct her in a very humble way! I again request you satkirin Ji,there is nothing like this in SIKHISM.If there were Male Gurus,then it had its own reasons.Sometime we are so ignorant or moorkh to completely understand a fact. Dhan Guru Maharaj!! I experienced something so thought to write here.But Dhan Guru sahib's kautak ,that SaT veer Ji,already described similiar case with my experience.I think I can write here as No one knows me personally or who I am.So Hope it will not affect me. Few days back,I got chance to go to a Gurmat divan after very very very long time.Few months Prior to that day,I had a dream where I saw an illuminated parkash of Guru Granth sahib ji in a very big diwan and there was a picture of Guru Nanak Dev Ji maharaj nearby Guru sahib's parakash.It was similar one as there is at Nanaksar.And With Guru sahib's blessings I got a chance to go to a Gurmat Divan. That night when I was at samagam,when Kirtan was being sung,I felt a unique energy in my body.It was like I wanted to close my eyes forever.Some thing was directing me to keep my eyes closed. Then I felt as my forehead was shivering.I dont know the exact word to call this shivering.My forehead,eyes and area between eye brows started shrinking.It was like a contraction.A very intense force was doing so.It was like my forehead was going to contract.That contraction was creating a unique movement .Then That contraction increased and started to flow in my entire body.It came downwards and I could feel it upto my arms.I felt Simran started happening of its own.I was doing simran of WAH HE GURU quite well of my own.MY body was so different.It was like something moved thru my nerves,even thru each cell of neves.It was a very blissful thing.But I was aware of everything.I didnt lose my consciousness.I was also enjoying tunes of kirtan at the same time.But was also enjoying that waheguru recitation.I was saying in mInd yes! Yes!! Go further! Go further! But when I felt it upto my arms,it stopped.After that it didnt progress.But I did nt open my eyes.But contractions were still there but very weak then.I prayed to Guru Sahib to make that happen,but thoughts in my mind increased than earlier and Then I just failed! After that I again felt little contractions but nothing beyond that.Though that happened for very very few minutes,but that feeling was very pleasurable.It's like yes !! This is it! From that day,I start feeling weak contractions on closing eyes,but nothing beyond that due to lack of mediation.due to time managements and wrong thoughts of mind. So Now I realise why Guru sahib Instruct us to do more amd more Jaap as possible.If I had done enough Jaap or mediation then probably different thoughts were not there and I could progress further...And I have not taken Amrit yet,thats why I think I can NOT make any progress.So Now Need for Amrit has increased even than earlier!!!
