  1. I think this is a huge issue with people today. Along with it comes believing negative judgements or statements made about us, or walking around on eggshells around bad people. If we all practiced the above gyan, In humility, the world would be a brighter place. I don’t think our prescience would liberate others, but believe that it would guide and teach others. Humans can sense strength if character a lot of the time and one strong soul can encourage and motivate and teach many souls, as Guru Nanak taught us.
  2. It looks good. Compared to the bickering and plain abuse you see on forums like SikhSangat, this forum is literally like heaven.
  3. This is one of the best forums out there. The Sangat is relaxed and respectful, no rif raff. Definitely blessed by the higher power.
  4. The Hindu gods and goddesses had naam but many fell and used it for maya reasons, With the five theives. If you practice Naam Truthfully, you don’t desire power, And apply gurbani to your life, is truthful living. If used for power and ego, it will destroy a being and sink you deep into the Kaal. Trust me, I’ve seen it happen. It is a gift which if practiced for the right reasons, can uplift a soul to the highest heights.
  5. Try this. Sit down, a kambal over your shoulders. Relax your body and listen to the ringing sound, which is Anhad Naad. Let go and let the samadhi take you. Have no expectations of what it should look like or feel, just let it take you.
  6. Thankyou. I find yoga to be excellent aswell. Amazing for the body and very relaxing. I believe that it’s totally underrrated and studies have shown that it improves many psychological and stress issues, in many cases more than some therapies.
  7. Mindfullnes is excellent. I find it particularly Relaxing in the morning. A body scan with mindfullness is very grounding.
  8. It’s true that simran is divine. But naam simran brings us towards those reconciliations of truth. Gurbani teaches us to live truthfully, don’t commit bad deeds, do good to others, support your own life and work honestly for what you have, be a fighter. Our Gurus taught us that the honest life of a householder is good, not sleeping around or falling into the pit of maya. With naam, a soul who practices truthful living In Practice, is a great soul. The Devi’s and dark Demi gods had naam, but many used it for evil and remained stuck in the pit of maya. God gave naam/Truth (for the gyan of gurbani applied is also naam) to many teachers but many fell and used it to gain followers, power, women etc for themselves to be worshipped and not for Truth/God to be followed. Many were cowards and ran away in the face of battle when called upon to stand for Truth. Hence a bhagat with naam can easily fall, which is why Gurbani says the path is narrow and sharp as a sword. Taking the Gurus examples, they lived life in the third energy of earth, they accepted Karam, they accepted life and they appreciated and lived it. They didn’t live in fairyland and practice miracles for all to see and worship them, or sit in a room or on a mountain doing simran all day. They taught people, they fed people, they lived, they built, they fought, they enjoyed life When they could whilst being good souls, they had children. They taught Truthful Living in Practice, for As Guru Nanak said, Truth is high, But higher still is Truthful living.
  9. True. Along with practicing Gurbani practically to our daily lives, ie Truthful living. No lying, don’t react in anger, lust, ego, the thieves, don’t do nindya, do good for yourself and others etc. Naam is the all pervading Truth, hence when you live in it, you are embracing the entire universe, all we see and all we don’t.
  10. This passage is extremely profound and holds the key to the Truth. It shows that everything and everyone we see is false images, it’s all just God/Nothing/Truth. It’s simply a khel which the Gurus saw past, they saw the Truth reality. It’s Nothing but True Love, a frequency beyond which the mere mortals can comprehend.
  11. Taking this a step further. I experienced this love as the pain and the pleasure. In great pain, I recognized Him. As feeding me that pain out of the purest, most unconditional love for me, his daughter. Paying off my karams as deserved, leading me to discover reality. And I realized that the beauty, just the sukh, isn’t the reality. Love is. Love in Dukh and Sukh. It’s all Him. Love is All. He’s All.
  12. True. The truth is so simple, but we tend to complicate it.
  13. Be happy and confident and a positive and optimistic person , no matter what. Never doubt yourself Dont believe or waste time and your precious life and energy dwelling on the losers and their B.S and avoid bad eggs and sangat, Walk around the earth freely and without fear and enjoy your life. Be a free spirit and strong Be happy and grateful for what you have Be real (and never get over excited or nervous about anything), and accept reality Accept that only I dictate my life and who I am, no one else can define me or dictate my life. Only I truly know who I am Don’t look for or need approval or validation, approve of and validate yourself, only believe yourself and no one else Love, cherish, respect, take care of, Believe in and be kind to yourself Accept good things, make the most of your opportunities and accept praise graciously Be good and be Positive Work hard and smart, don’t procrastinate, build your life and make it amazing Enjoy your life to the fullest and love your life Know yourself (as Sat/Truth and stay true to yourself and all around you I think this is such a good exercise even imagining you’re older than you are and giving advice to yourself now at what age you are currently
  14. No worries. You are spreading the gyan which is a noble deed in this age for sure. I wish everyone sees that all nationalities and humans are equal. I’m not perfect and have failed in this sense before, but I’ve realised that culture and skin color is an illusion.
  15. I love your posts. They are so full of love and beautiful words. I can’t believe you’re still teaching after so many years. Very blessed
  16. From 12.30am is the best time, for at least half an hour, but ideally 2.5 hours. You’ll go deep into it. Listen to anhaad Naad, let go and let the samadhi take you
  17. Well there are the lights, the visions, sometimes other powers/siddis. The lights and visions open your mind and serve as a guide in your path. Positive visions can give you comfort that you’re on the right track. Blind faith after this is great. If you can practice a Truthful living, without needing or desiring the visions etc, and experience life beyond the thieves, it’s something to behold. The path never ends. Live life free of the thieves, free of the bs. Live and apply Gurbani. And detach and guide and teach others to detach.
