Dearest veer, what you experienced was just a sign of his kirpa, not the end goal. Just like driving to the beach as the road twists and turns you see momentary glimpses of the ocean through gaps in the tree. Sweet taste in the mouth is a sign of being on the right track. There are many other signs too like hearing sounds, smelling perfume type scent, seeing flashes of light, meeting sant mahapurkh in dreams, visions of higher realms, randomly getting moments of huge anand. 
These things while beautiful, remember they are just positive signs of you being on the right path. The actual kirpa he wishes to give you is some far greater still, it’s agam, akaal, apaar, alakh… Because it’s merging you back into him.

Dear all.. whosoever is thr in this thread seems to be of good awastha... I have a question.. I feel like doing naam simran and reading more & more Gurbani but I'm not mentally prepared to take amrit daat..
Does Guru Sahib accept naam simran and Gurbani recitation without taking amrit?
Whenever I go deep into this topic.. or after listening to various kathavachaks i start feeling negative.. 
If I listen to Muslim spiritual stories or their real life experiences , or Ram Krishan bhakats satsangs .. love for God starts to blossom in my heart, I feel like doing more and more naam japp..their satsangs reflect that God is full of love , he is merciful..
But whenever I listen to our religion Kathavachaks or preachers , they scare me.. I feel like as if God will punish me.. he is very harsh

Dass hear in Katha that in Akal Ustat Bani that the word Tuhi Tuhi is written 16 times and whoever reads the full paath of the Bani will get benefit laha of 16 thousand jaap of Waheguru Jaap.
 
If anyone would like I could add Sri Akal Ustat in this thread as Dass read the entire paath on Monday in 2 hours using audio tracks this week.
