Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
This was sent to the egroup of the Gurudwara here...
hope that helps
----------
WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa |
WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh ||
There are four types of Bani as follows:
1. Baikhari Bani: WaheGuru WaheGuru is repeated with
tongue and lips.
2. Madhama Bani: WaheGuru WaheGuru is repeated in
"kanth" without movement of tongue and lips. Reward is
10 times more than #1.
3. Pasanti Bani: WaheGuru WaheGuru is repeated in
"hirda" which is without movement of tongue and lips.
Reward is 100 times more than #1. Gurbani says " Har
jan simro hirde raam".
4. Pra Bani: WaheGuru WaheGuru is repeated in "nabhi"
which is cluster of veins from foot to the head.
Reward is 1000 times more than #1 i.e. saying WaheGuru
one time in this stage is equivalent to saying
WaheGuru 1000 times in Baikhari Bani. Gurbani says "
Gurmukh rome rome har dhiave". There are about 35
million pores in the body and every pore says
WaheGuru.
After these four bani, there is "anhad shabad". There
are different "chakars" on the way to reach WaheGuru.
1. Agiya Chakar: It is a place where eyes and nose
meet. When one concentrates "birti" here, the light
can be seen and sound can be heard from inside.
2. Trikuti Chakar: When one concentrates "birti" at
this place, more light (like one sun's light) can be
seen and sweet dim sound can be heard.
3. Dasam Duar: When one concentrates "birti" here,
more light (like many suns'light) and very sweet dim
sound can be heard. Gurbani says "nau darvaje kaya
koat hai, dasve gupat rakhije"
After dasam duar one reaches "manjale makhsood" and
that is the goal. Gurbani says " roop na rekh na rang
kitch traigun te prabh bhin, tisai bujhai nanaka jis
hovai suparshan".
LESSON LEARNT:
************
There is long path to reach WaheGuru. One must start
from step 1 i.e. Baikhari Bani and keep on moving up.
It takes lot of "kamai". It may take many years and
sometimes more than one "janam" to reach WaheGuru. One
should not stop and must keep moving on the long path
to reach WaheGuru.

4. Saram Khand - The State of Further Spiritual Progress Becoming Beautiful Sahaj Samadhi. There are 3 types of samadhi Vikalap Nirvikalap & Sehaj Samaadh
Saram Khand Ki Bani Roop Thitheh Garath Karieh Bahoot Anoop
"The consciousness and body and world becomes beautiful. His speech [i.e, body parts] (Bani) becomes beautiful and he perceives a new state of mind namely complete absorption into Jot Swaroop Light. (1 See Appendix Below). The tenth door goes higher into the this new state of mind purifying the 4 internal aspects of mind (Man But Chit Ahankaar) Nothing in words can explain this state. He becomes an invincible warrior free from Kaal death and becomes Nirbhau (without fear).
Bhagat Beni Explains How He Attained Sachkhand
(1) Guru Granth Sahib Page 974 - The Tenth Gate is the home of the inaccessible, infinite Supreme Lord. Above the store is a niche, and within this niche is the commodity. He takes the Beej Mantra, (the Seed Mantra), and keeps it in his heart.
Turning his mind away from the world, he focuses on the cosmic void of the absolute Lord. ||5||
He remains awake, and he does not lie he speaks truth. He keeps the five sensory organs under his control.
He cherishes in his consciousness the Guru's Teachings.
He dedicates his mind and body to the Lord's Love. He plugs up the source of the river of evil tendencies.
He bears the unbearable, and the drops trickle down within then, he speaks with the Lord of the world. ||7||
The four-sided lamp illuminates the Tenth Gate. The Primal Lord is at the center of the countless leaves.
He Himself abides there with all His powers. He weaves the jewels into the pearl of the mind. ||8||
The lotus is at the forehead, and the jewels surround it. Within it is the Immaculate Lord, the Master of the three worlds.
The Panch Shabad, the five primal sounds, in their purity, resound and vibrate there.
He experiences beauty like the chauris - the fly brushes wave, and the conch shells blare like thunder.
The Gurmukh tramples the demons underfoot with his spiritual wisdom. and becomes a warrior.

And they owe us the first born in each family, sincerely in gratitude. To serve Akal not us them.

Shaheed4life reacted to GurjantGnostic in Sanatan Sikhi
We Sikhs are pulled in many directions. We are at the center of the truth and our understanding that there is great confluence of truth makes it easy to sort of adjust to whoever we are speaking to. It is natural to seek peace and find a middle ground with those that hate you.
However, we are based, centered, distinct, and correct. We are not hindu, muslim, punjabi, british slaves, a caste, a color, new age, nor do we congregate with christian cults or identify as them while we exemplify as them.
We cannot bend too far too long in any direction and we can't let it adjust our foundation.
We are timeless. We are Akal Sena. Akali Fauj. Khalsa Fauj. Nirmal Paanth. Not born from anything but truth God rightousness sent to serve and correct, inspire. Exemplify.

Guru Arjan Dev Ji as mentions here that we are not Hindu neither are we Muslim.
All of our Guru Sahibs are the same jot therefore same explanation for all our Gurus.
Please do not spread misinformation Ji, as the majority of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is about Akaal Purakh and not about Hindu Gods Ji. So it is wrong to say that there would only be a few pages left. Secondly this point doesnt not show that we are Sanatan as there are many mentions of Allah in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as well.
