  1. I'm sure it will not be long before the sikhs are no longer a majority in this little place anyway - if current trends of immigration and birth rates continue for a few years. What then ? change the name to Bhayastan . . ? . . . or chop it in half and get all the 'sikhs' into one side so that they have majority (for another few years) President Sodhi, don't make Mr Vijay. . .'We better try to make all Hindus as Singhs' . . .deep Singh as your cheif Diplomat whatever you do. But on a serious note, his idea seems the most realistic option of you ever acheiving the dream
  2. No not really. For many people the opposite may be true. Imho, over many years of evolution, muslim women seem to have mastered the art of wearing their religous garments in a sexy way - just look at the way some of them use it to accentuate their femine curves. Agree with Javanmard that marriage at an early age could generally speaking help solve many problems in a culture which see's b/f g/f as taboo. I think it is ridiculus that people should have to wait till they're 35 to get married especially if they believe that a physical relationship is only permissible within marriage. 40year olds who havent had sex! ? completely un-natural . . . no wonder it causes problems. As for sexual thoughts disappearing as we get old, . . . hmmmm, I would like to think so (fighting denial), but I'm afraid deep down I know its not true esp. with men. The thoughts are there for sure, eventhough the body becomes weak and cannot act on the thoughts. I hate to think what goes on in my 93 year old baba's mind
  3. Fear ! . . . fear of drowning in the ocean - getting swept away by a current and not being able to return to the body along with all the attatchments which remain in the 'real world'.
  4. . . . now we know why Dynamic_Banda makes frequent secret visits to Superdrug . . . Gunda_Banda
  5. half of these poor girls have just gone for a day out to London (or wherever) and have been handed over one of the mass produced placards by one of the innocent looking uncle jis in the background. There could be as little as 1 person responsible for the placards, but you will often see them being held by many niave young girls (and boys) who end up on the front pages looking like fervent activists, eventhough they might not have even bothered to read the damn thing !
  6. . . . and people thought that the brave sikh warriors had lost their touch . . . that they were simply living in the legacy of their proud past, but, yet again, we prove that truely, the SINGHS are the best at doing the ultimate sacrifice. May waheguru bless our panth with the abilility to do even more of this ultimate seva and sacrifice. always try to see the evil in everyone  !
  7. (on the side) Personally, I think that there are nindaks and saboteurs in each of these three camps, and I assume, basically, in every jatha out there. us sikhs, we love cussing each other ke khialaa? .................................. always try to see the evil in everyone  !
  8. lol ! . . . thats a good one !! . . . and you dont want to be a prat, do you now . . .?
  9. easy tiger! caaaalm dooown dear, . . .it was ooonly a question (u know, challenge everything and all dat... ??) I was just looking for answer bruv, not looking to be attacked. Anyway, which bit in particular of what I wrote was nindia? . . .and let me know when we can link up the Tyaar bar tyaar nihang singhs, that would be cool - as long as you dont get to hysterical with me. I agree there are many one man Faujan about, but I personally could be much more proud about the dal/dals for being a modern day army/policing force in terms of their reputation, unity, weapons arsenal and effectiveness . . . .or am I missing the purpose of what they are about?
  10. As the Guru's ladia faujan the nihangs i believe dealt severely with the masands. They did not have a "what have the nihangs got to do wid anything" attitude.
  11. what do nihangs do about these present day, real life situations? . . .or do they just live in the fantasy alternative reality which they paint in the minds of so many youngsters these days? please enlighten me
  12. When he asked for 5 heads, why didn`t any of Guru Gobind Singh's wives stand up and offer to give their head ?
  13. marry both . . . have a goree on your left and an apni-desi on your right (miri piri style) 8)
  14. . . . read on teletext that the buddha boy's gone missing
  15. There are exceptions to this generalisation- some of these sant babay and maharishi gurus are BIG TIME stud muffins - even at the age of 80  - nothing gets in their way not even the long flowing beard! They don`t even have designer armani clothes or semi-cardboard, mega starched designer tubans - they don't even superglue their dhari to the contours of their face with fixo ?! Pure kamai - thats what it is - . . . or maybe it's the fact that they claim celibacy- is that the big turn on? - I mean that`s taking playing hard to get to another level . . . or perhaps its the brand new gangsta 4x4 they all have . . . ? 8) Singh, I think the baba jee's have the answer to your worries son.
  16. erm . . . by threatening to kill everyone who doesn't believe in universal love
  17. The post was not intended to get hot-heads to burn down mosques and create MORE INJUSTICE, but to ask if anything was being done to "combat the injustice" already going on. What sensible solutions are there? On the side, but something important which I think plagues the minds of many sikhs who are dissolutioned with the so called "Akal Purakh ki Fauj" or Guru`s "Ladlian Faujan", do any Nihangs have anything to say on the matter, . . . . is there any sense of responsibility for the prevention of such desecration amongst the Nihangs ?? (this can probably only be answered by Nihangs, so slanderers please don`t wreck the thread)
  18. Any passionate sikh activists doing any thing to combat this injustice ?? :- Whole street of Abbottabad Pakistan burnt to ashes to steal Hindu Sikh temples Date: Friday, December 02 @ 10:43:08 EST Topic: Pakistan News Few months ago in the Pakistani Northern hilly town of ,Abbottabad, historical government record room was burnt to ashes under mysterious circumstances... Land mafia was blammed for the destruction of property and revenue records of the town, which was built by Britishers in 1876. Few months ago a heritage building at the corner of Gurdwara gali was sold off at a cheap price by the evacuee trust of Pakistan,..which is headed by a retired lieutenent general of Pakistan Army.. A multi storey commercial plaza got built at the site of that heritage building.. Same mafia had their eyes on the historical gurdwara gali of Abbottabad, which contained a huge hindu mandir ,a sikh gurdwara and beautiful shops containing verandahs with columns with flowery capitals. Two days ago there was an indication about a huge fire which burnt 30 shops in this historical area of the bazaar. No Pakistani newspaper reported this incident fire, which might have destroyed the historical area. Fire truck of the corrupt municipal committee was located just across the street.. Issues of the fire damage of the record room and the fire of Gurdwara gali got hushed up by the authorities and they seem inter-connected. Gurdwaras and hindu mandirs in other towns of North West Frontier province are also being grabbed for commercial plazas ,..by the mafia after paying bribes to the concerned custodians... How fast we are losing our heritage of cultural and architectural significance...are we at the mercy of corrupt officials and mafia of Pakistan..??? It is strange that both governments of India and Pakistan could not protect this heritage.
